2) Verbinden des TrekStor i.Beat xtension mit einem PC
Hinweis fr Benutzer von Windows 98: Laden Sie bitte zuerst den Treiber von unserer Homepage
http://www.trekstor.de herunter. Installieren Sie danach den Treiber, bevor Sie den i.Beat xtension an Ihren PC
anschlieen!
Schlieen Sie den i.Beat xtension an einen USB-Anschluss Ihres PCs an. Ihr Betriebssystem erkennt
automatisch den i.Beat xtension und fgt auf dem "ARBEITSPLATZ" 2 "WECHSELDATENTRGER" (i.Beat xtension +
SD/MMC-Karteneinschub) hinzu.
3) Datenaustausch mit dem TrekStor i.Beat xtension
a) Markieren Sie die gewnschten Dateien (z. B. MP3) mit der Maus. Kopieren Sie diese durch Drcken der
rechten Maustaste ("KOPIEREN").
b) Whlen Sie im "ARBEITSPLATZ" den Wechseldatentrger "TREKSTOR I.BEAT XTENSION" aus.
c) Drcken Sie die rechte Maustaste und whlen Sie die Option "EINFGEN", um den Kopiervorgang zu
starten. Nach Abschluss des Kopiervorgangs sind die Daten auf dem i.Beat xtension vorhanden.
Hinweis: Trennen Sie unter keinen Umstnden die USB-Verbindung whrend der Datenbertragung!
4) Abmelden und Trennen des TrekStor i.Beat xtension vom PC
Windows 98 (SE): Klicken Sie unten rechts in der Taskleiste auf das Symbol "HARDWARE SICHER ENTFERNEN".
Whlen Sie im Fenster "HARDWARE SICHER ENTFERNEN" den i.Beat xtension aus und klicken Sie auf die Schaltflche "JA".
Jetzt knnen Sie den i.Beat xtension vom PC trennen.
Windows 2000/ME/XP: Klicken Sie mit der rechten Maustaste unten rechts in der Taskleiste auf das
Symbol "HARDWARE SICHER ENTFERNEN". Whlen Sie aus dem erscheinenden Kontextmen den Punkt
"USB-MASSENSPEICHERGERT LAUFWERK ENTFERNEN" durch Klicken mit der linken Maustaste aus. Jetzt knnen Sie
den i.Beat xtension vom PC trennen.
Hinweis: Befolgen Sie bitte den empfohlenen Abmeldevorgang, um Schden am Gert oder Datenverlust zu
vermeiden!

5) Firmware-Update des TrekStor i.Beat xtension
a) Schlieen Sie den i.Beat xtension an einen USB-Anschluss Ihres PCs an.
b) Sichern Sie alle wichtigen Daten des i.Beat xtension auf Ihrem PC.
c) Sie knnen den i.Beat xtension mit der aktuellsten Firmware aus dem Internet (auf der TrekStor
Homepage unter http://www.trekstor.de) updaten.
d) Laden Sie die Firmware (*.zip-Datei) herunter und entpacken Sie diese in einen beliebigen Ordner.
e) Befolgen Sie anschlieend die Anweisungen der beigefgten Update-Anleitung.
Warnung: Lesen Sie bitte die komplette Update-Anleitung und befolgen Sie exakt die Updateprozedur, um
Schden am i.Beat xtension zu vermeiden!
6) Formatierung des TrekStor i.Beat xtension
a) Schlieen Sie den i.Beat xtension an einen USB-Anschluss Ihres PCs an.
b) Sichern Sie alle wichtigen Daten des i.Beat xtension auf Ihrem PC.
c) ffnen Sie den "ARBEITSPLATZ" und klicken Sie mit der rechten Maustaste auf "WECHSELDATENTRGER".
d) Whlen Sie aus dem Kontextmen den Punkt "FORMATIEREN..." aus.
e) Whlen Sie im erscheinenden Dialogfenster unter "DATEISYSTEM" die Option "FAT32" aus.
f ) Klicken Sie auf die Schaltflche "STARTEN", um das Formatieren durchzufhren.
7) Bedienung des TrekStor i.Beat xtension
Ein- und Ausschalten
Schalten Sie den i.Beat xtension ein, indem Sie die C-Taste kurz drcken. Um den i.Beat xtension wieder
auszuschalten, halten Sie die C-Taste ca. 3 Sekunden lang gedrckt.
Hinweis: Achten Sie darauf, dass sich der q-Schieber in der linken Position befindet, die Tastensperre also aus-
geschaltet ist. Ist die Tastensperre aktiviert, erscheint das Tastensperre-Symbol oder eine entsprechende Meldung.
Die verschiedenen Modi
Der i.Beat xtension besitzt verschiedene Modi. Um in einen Modus zu gelangen, halten Sie die i-Taste
ca. 1 Sekunde lang gedrckt. Whlen Sie durch Drcken der E- bzw. F-Taste den gewnschten Modus
aus und besttigen Sie durch kurzes Drcken der C-Taste. Durch Drcken der i-Taste verlassen Sie das
Men.
Modus: Musik
Wechseln Sie bitte in den Modus "MUSIK".
Wiedergabe
Drcken Sie kurz die C-Taste, um die Wiedergabe einer Audiodatei zu starten.
Pause
Drcken Sie kurz die C-Taste, um die Wiedergabe anzuhalten. Durch ein erneutes Drcken der C-Taste
wird die Wiedergabe fortgesetzt.

Titel wechseln
Wenn Sie die F-Taste drcken, wird der nchste Titel ausgewhlt. Wenn Sie die E-Taste drcken,
wird zum vorhergehenden Titel gewechselt.
Vor- / Zurckspulen innerhalb eines Titels
Durch lngeres Drcken der F- bzw. E-Taste knnen Sie innerhalb eines Titels spulen. Halten Sie die
F- bzw. E-Taste gedrckt, um vor- bzw. zurckzuspulen.
Hinweis: Je lnger die F- bzw. E-Taste gedrckt bleibt, desto schneller spult das Gert.
Lautstrke anheben / absenken
Drcken Sie kurz die c- bzw. d-Taste, um die Lautstrke anzuheben bzw. abzusenken.
Hinweis: Wenn Sie die c- bzw. d-Taste gedrckt halten, ndert sich die Lautstrke stetig.
Ordner-Navigation
Die Ordner-Navigation erreichen Sie im Modus "MUSIK" durch kurzes Drcken der i-Taste. Whlen Sie
zwischen dem internen Speicher und dem externen Speicher (SD/MMC-Karte) durch Drcken der F-
bzw. E-Taste und besttigen Sie durch Drcken der C-Taste. Durch Drcken der F- bzw. E-Taste
markieren Sie die nchste oder vorhergehende Datei. Um die ausgewhlte Datei abzuspielen, drcken
Sie bitte die C-Taste. Um in einen Unterordner zu wechseln, drcken Sie die C-Taste, wenn der Ordner
markiert ist. Um wieder in das Hauptverzeichnis zurckzukehren, drcken Sie die i-Taste. Um die Ordner-
Navigation zu verlassen, drcken Sie die i-Taste, wenn Sie sich im Hauptverzeichnis befinden.
Lschen einer Datei
Whlen Sie die zu lschende Datei ber die Ordner-Navigation aus und drcken Sie kurz die 4-Taste.
Um das Lschen der Datei zu besttigen, wechseln Sie durch Drcken der F- bzw. E-Taste nach
rechts bzw. links auf "JA" und drcken Sie anschlieend die C-Taste.
Modus: FM-Radio (optional)
Wechseln Sie bitte in den Modus "FM-RADIO".
Hinweis: Bitte schlieen Sie stets Ihre Kopfhrer an den i.Beat xtension FM an, da das Kopfhrerkabel als
Antenne fr das interne Radio dient.
Durch kurzes Drcken der g-Taste wird ein Men aufgerufen. Hier knnen Sie den automatischen
Sendersuchlauf starten, Sender speichern und Sender lschen. Um den FM-Radio-Modus zu verlassen,
halten Sie die g-Taste ca. 1 Sekunde lang gedrckt und das Hauptmen erscheint.
Automatische Speicherbelegung / Automatischer Sendersuchlauf
Um den automatischen Sendersuchlauf zu starten, wechseln Sie im Men auf "AUTOM. SUCHLAUF" und
besttigen Sie durch Drcken der C-Taste. Der i.Beat xtension FM sucht nun automatisch empfangs-
starke Radiosender und speichert diese auf den 30 Speicherpltzen ab.
Wechsel zwischen manueller Senderwahl und Speicherplatz-Modus
Drcken Sie kurz die C-Taste, um zwischen der manuellen Senderwahl "SCAN" und dem Speicherplatz-
Modus "PRESET" zu wechseln.
Wechsel zwischen eingespeicherten Sendern
Im Speicherplatz-Modus "PRESET" knnen Sie durch kurzes Drcken der E- bzw. F-Taste zwischen
den vorhandenen Speicherpltzen wechseln.
Manuelle Frequenznderung / Manueller Suchlauf
Im manuellen Senderwahl-Modus "SCAN" knnen Sie durch kurzes Drcken der E- bzw. F-Taste
die Empfangsfrequenz um jeweils 0,1 MHz ndern. Wenn Sie die E- bzw. F-Taste ausreichend lange
drcken, sucht der i.Beat xtension FM automatisch die unteren bzw. oberen Frequenzbereiche nach
empfangsstarken Sendern ab.

Speichern von individuellen Sendern
Wechseln Sie zur manuellen Senderwahl "SCAN". Stellen Sie die gewnschte Frequenz ein und rufen Sie
ber das Men den Punkt "SENDER SPEICHERN" auf. Whlen Sie ber die E- bzw. F-Taste einen Speicher-
platz aus und drcken Sie die C-Taste zum Abspeichern des Senders.
Lschen von gespeicherten Sendern
Whlen Sie im Men den Punkt "SENDER LSCHEN" aus. Whlen Sie danach ber die E- bzw. F-Taste
einen gespeicherten Sender aus und besttigen Sie das Lschen durch Drcken der C-Taste.
FM-Radioaufnahme
Drcken Sie kurz die 4-Taste, um die Radioaufnahme zu starten. Durch ein erneutes kurzes Drcken
der 4-Taste beenden Sie die Aufnahme.
Hinweis: Alle Radioaufnahmen werden im "FM"-Ordner des i.Beat xtension FM gespeichert.
Hinweis: Sie mssen in der Ordner-Navigation den Speicherort "INTERNER SPEICHER" auswhlen, damit Radioaufnahmen
durchgefhrt werden knnen.
Modus: Aufnahmen
Wechseln Sie bitte in den Modus "AUFNAHMEN".
In diesem Modus knnen Sie Sprachaufnahmen und optional FM-Radio-Aufnahmen wiedergeben.
ber das integrierte Mikrofon knnen Sie Sprachaufnahmen durchfhren. Halten Sie die 4-Taste ca.
1 Sekunde lang gedrckt, um die Sprachaufnahme zu starten. Um die aktuelle Aufnahme zu pausieren,
drcken Sie kurz die C-Taste . Um die aktuelle Aufnahme wieder aufzunehmen, drcken Sie erneut kurz
die C-Taste . Durch kurzes Drcken der 4-Taste beenden Sie die Aufnahme.
Hinweis: Alle Sprachaufnahmen werden im "MIC"-Ordner des i.Beat xtension gespeichert.
Hinweis: Sie mssen in der Ordner-Navigation den Speicherort "INTERNER SPEICHER" auswhlen, damit Sprachaufnahmen
durchgefhrt werden knnen.
Die Bedienung und Funktionen in diesem Modus verhalten sich analog zum Modus "MUSIK".
Modus: Einstellungen
Wechseln Sie bitte in den Modus "EINSTELLUNGEN".
Hier knnen Sie den Equalizer, den Wiedergabemodus, Anzeigeeinstellungen, den Sleep-Timer, das
automatische Herunterfahren und die Aufnahme-Qualitt konfigurieren.
Whlen Sie durch Drcken der E- bzw. F-Taste die gewnschte Einstellung aus und besttigen Sie
durch Drcken der C-Taste. Durch Drcken der i-Taste verlassen Sie die Einstellungen.
Equalizer
Unter dem Menpunkt "EQUALIZER" knnen Sie einen von 6 voreingestellten Equalizern auswhlen.
Wiedergabemodus
Unter dem Menpunkt "WIEDERGABEMODUS" knnen Sie einen von 6 voreingestellten Wiedergabemodi
auswhlen.

Anzeige

Kontrast: Unter dem Menpunkt "KONTRAST" knnen Sie den Kontrast des LC-Displays einstellen.
Hintergrundbeleuchtung: Unter dem Menpunkt "HINTERGRUNDBELEUCHTUNG" knnen Sie einstellen, nach
welcher Zeit sich das Display automatisch abschaltet.
Titel-Information: Unter dem Menpunkt "TITEL-INFORMATION" knnen Sie festlegen welche Informationen
(Dateiname oder ID3-Tag-Informationen) auf dem Display dargestellt werden sollen.
Sleep-Timer
Unter dem Menpunkt "SLEEP-TIMER" knnen Sie festlegen nach welcher voreingestellten Zeit sich der
Player automatisch abschalten soll.
Herunterfahren
Unter dem Menpunkt "HERUNTERFAHREN" knnen Sie festlegen nach welcher Zeit der Nichtbenutzung
sich der Player automatisch abschalten soll.
Aufnahme-Qualitt
Unter dem Menpunkt "AUFNAHME-QUALITT" knnen Sie die Aufnahmequalitt des integrierten Mikrofons
und des FM-Radios einstellen.
Modus: System
Wechseln Sie bitte in den Modus "SYSTEM".
In diesem Modus erhalten Sie Informationen ber den Speicher sowie die installierte Firmware-Version.
Weiterhin knnen Sie die Benutzersprache wechseln, die Werkseinstellungen laden sowie den gesamten
Speicher lschen.
Speicher / FW
Unter dem Menpunkt "SPEICHER / FW" erhalten Sie Informationen ber den gesamten und freien
Speicherplatz sowie die installierte Firmware-Version.
Sprache
Unter dem Menpunkt "SPRACHE" knnen Sie die Mensprache des Players auswhlen.
Werkseinstellungen
Unter dem Menpunkt "WERKSEINSTELLUNGEN" knnen Sie den i.Beat xtension in den Auslieferungszustand
versetzen. Die gespeicherten Dateien werden dabei nicht gelscht.
Alles lschen
Unter dem Menpunkt "ALLES LSCHEN" knnen Sie alle auf dem i.Beat xtension befindlichen Dateien
lschen.

Hinweise:
Dieser MP3-Player ist fr den mitgelieferten Kopfhrer (Impedanz von 32 Ohm) optimiert. Die Verwendung anderer Kopfhrer mit
geringerer Impedanz kann u. U. zur Beschdigung des MP3-Players oder auch des Kopfhrers fhren; besonders bei MP3-Playern mit
2 Kopfhreranschlssen.
Sollten Sie das Gert einer elektrostatischen Entladungen aussetzen, kann es u. U. zu einer Unterbrechung des Datentransfers
zwischen dem Gert und dem Computer kommen. In diesem Fall sollte das Gert vom USB-Port abgezogen und erneut eingesteckt
werden.
Achtung: Dieses Gert kann hohe Lautstrken erzeugen. Um Hrschden zu vermeiden, sollten Sie nicht lngere Zeit mit hoher
Lautstrke hren. Tritt ein Klingelgerusche in Ihrem Ohr auf, reduzieren Sie umgehend die Lautstrke oder verwenden Sie den
MP3-Player nicht mehr. Bitte bedenken Sie, dass das Verwenden von Ohrhrern oder Kopfhrern mit hoher Lautstrke eine dauerhafte
Schdigung des Gehrs zur Folge haben kann. Sie gewhnen sich mit der Zeit zwar an hhere Lautstrken, sodass diese fr Sie
normal erscheinen mgen, Ihre Hrfhigkeit kann jedoch beeintrchtigt werden. Je hher Sie die Lautstrke einstellen, desto schneller
kann Ihr Gehr geschdigt werden.
Achtung: Das Verwenden von Ohrhrern beim Steuern eines Kraftfahrzeugs wird nicht empfohlen und ist in einigen Lndern
verboten. Fahren Sie stets vorsichtig und konzentriert. Stoppen Sie die Wiedergabe Ihres MP3-Players, wenn Sie hierdurch beim
Steuern eines Kraftfahrzeugs oder bei anderen Ttigkeiten, die Ihre volle Aufmerksamkeit erfordern, abgelenkt oder gestrt werden.
Von der Nutzung von USB-Kabeln mit Leitungslngen von mehr als 3 m sollte abgesehen werden.

2) Connecting the TrekStor i.Beat xtension to a PC
Note for users of Windows 98: First download the driver from our homepage at http://www.trekstor.de. Then
install the driver before connecting the i.Beat xtension to your PC!
Connect the i.Beat xtension to a USB port of your PC. Your operating system will immediately recognize
the i.Beat xtension and will add two "DEVICES WITH REMOVABLE STORAGE" under "MY COMPUTER" (i.Beat xtension +
SD/MMC memory card).
3) Exchanging data with the TrekStor i.Beat xtension
a) Select the desired files (such as MP3) with the mouse. Copy these files by clicking them with your right
mouse button ("COPY").
b) Under "MY COMPUTER" select the device with removable storage "TREKSTOR I.BEAT XTENSION".
c) Click it with your right mouse button, and select "PASTE" to start copying. After copying is over, the data
will be available on the i.Beat xtension.
Note: Do not under any circumstances disconnect the USB connection during data transfer!
4) Logging off and disconnecting the TrekStor i.Beat xtension from the PC
Windows 98 (SE): Click in the lower right of the task bar, on the symbol "SAFELY REMOVE HARDWARE". In the
"SAFELY REMOVE HARDWARE" window, select the i.Beat xtension and click on the "YES" button. You can now
disconnect the i.Beat xtension from the PC.
Windows 2000/ME/XP: At the bottom right on the task bar, click the right mouse button on the symbol
"SAFELY REMOVE HARDWARE". In the context menu that appears, click the left mouse button on "SAFELY REMOVE
MASS STORAGE DEVICE - DRIVE" to select it. You can now disconnect the i.Beat xtension from the PC.
Note: Please follow the recommended logoff procedure to prevent damage to the device or data loss!

5) Firmware update for the TrekStor i.Beat xtension
a) Connect the i.Beat xtension to a USB port of your PC.
b) Back up all the important files on your i.Beat xtension onto your PC.
c) You can update the i.Beat xtension with the most current firmware from the internet (on the TrekStor
homepage at http://www.trekstor.de).
d) Download the firmware (*.zip-file), and unzip it to a folder of your choice.
e) Follow the attached update instructions.
Warning: Please read all the update instructions, and follow the update procedures exactly to keep from damaging
the i.Beat xtension!
6) Formatting the TrekStor i.Beat xtension
a) Connect the i.Beat xtension to a USB port of your PC.
b) Back up all the important files on your i.Beat xtension onto your PC.
c) Open "MY COMPUTER", and click your right mouse button on "DEVICES WITH REMOVABLE STORAGE".
d) Select "FORMAT..." from the context menu.
e) Select the "FAT32" option under "FILE SYSTEM" from the dialog window that appears.
f ) Click the "START" button to start the formatting.
7) Using the TrekStor i.Beat xtension
Turning the device on and off
Turn on the i.Beat xtension by briefly pressing the C button. To turn the i.Beat xtension off, hold the
C button for approximately 3 seconds.
Note: Make sure that the q switch has been moved to the left, i.e., that the button lock is turned off. If the
button lock is activated, the button lock symbol or a corresponding message will appear.
Different modes
The i.Beat xtension has different modes. To go to a mode, hold the i button for approximately one
second. Press the E or F button to select the desired mode, and confirm by briefly pressing the C button.
Leave the menu by pressing the i button.
Mode: Music
Switch to the "MUSIC" mode.
Playback
Briefly press the C button to start playing back an audio file.
Pause
Briefly press the C button to stop playback. Repress the C button to continue playback.
Change track
Press the F button to select the next song. Press the E button to select the previous song.

Fast-forward / rewind within a track
You can navigate within the current song by holding down the F or E button. Hold down the F
or E button to fast-forward or rewind.
Note: The longer you hold down the F or E button, the faster you fast-forward or rewind.
Increase / lower volume
Briefly press the c or d button to raise or lower the volume.
Note: If you hold down the c or d button, the volume changes gradually.
Folder navigation
You get to folder navigation in "MUSIC" mode by briefly pressing the i button. Switch between the
internal memory and external memory (SD/MMC card) by pressing the F or E button, and confirm by
pressing the C button. Press the F or E button to select the next or previous file. To play the selected
file, press the C button. To change to a subfolder, press the C button if the folder is marked. To return to
the main directory, briefly press the i button. To leave folder navigation, press the i button when
you are in the Main Directory.
Deleting a file
Select the file you want to delete using folder navigation, and briefly press the 4 button. To confirm
that you want to delete the file, press the E to the left or the F button to the right to go to "YES", and
then press the C button.
Mode: FM Radio (optional)
Switch to "FM RADIO" mode.
Note: Always connect your earphones to the i.Beat xtension FM since the earphone cable serves as an antenna
for the internal radio.
Briefly press the g button to open a menu. You can now start the automatic station search, save stations
and delete them. To leave FM radio mode, hold the g button for about one second, and the main menu
will appear.
Automatic memory assignment / automatic station search
To start the automatic station search, switch in the menu to "SCAN STATION" and confirm by pressing the
C button. The i.Beat xtension FM now automatically searches for the radio stations with the strongest
reception and saves them in 30 memory locations.
Switching between manual station selection and memory mode
Briefly press the C button to switch between manual station selection "SCAN" and memory mode "PRESET".
Switching between saved stations
In "PRESET", you can switch between available presets by briefly pressing the E or F button.
Manually change frequency / manual search
In "SCAN" briefly press the E or F button to change the reception frequency by 0.1 MHz. Hold
down the E or F button for the i.Beat xtension FM to automatically scan the upper and lower
frequencies for stations with the strongest reception.
Saving individual stations
Change to manual station selection "SCAN". Choose the desired frequency and select "SAVE STATION" from
the menu. Select a preset using the E or F button and press the C button to save the station.
Deleting saved stations
Select "DELETE STATION" from the menu. Then select an existing preset using the E or F button and
confirm the deletion by pressing the C button.

Recording FM radio
Briefly press the 4 button to start recording FM radio. Briefly press the 4 button again to stop recording.
Note: All FM recordings are saved in the "FM" folder of the i.Beat xtension FM.

Mode: Recordings
Switch to the "RECORDINGS" mode.
In this mode, you can play voice recordings and optionally FM radio recordings.
You can record your voice using the integrated microphone. Hold the 4 button for approximately 1 second
to start recording. To pause the current recording, briefly press the C button. To restart the current recording,
briefly press the C button again. Briefly press the 4 button to stop recording.
Note: All voice recordings are saved in the "MIC" folder of the i.Beat xtension.
Note: In folder navigation, select the storage location "INTERNAL MEMORY" to make voice recordings.
The operation and functions in this mode are like the "MUSIC" mode.
Mode: Settings
Switch to the "SETTINGS" mode.
In this mode, you can configure the equalizer, play mode, display settings, sleep timer, automatic shutdown
and record settings.
Press the E or F button to select the desired setting, and confirm by briefly pressing the C button.
Leave the settings by pressing the i button.
Equalizer
You can select from 6 preset equalizers under the menu item "EQUALIZER".
Playback mode
You can select from 6 preset play modes under the menu item "PLAY MODE".
Display
Contrast: Under the menu item "CONTRAST", you can adjust the contrast of the LC display.
Backlight: Under the menu item "BACKLIGHT", you can set the length of time until the display automatically
shuts off.
Title information: Under the menu item "TITLE INFORMATION", you can set the information (file name or ID3
tag information) that is to be shown on the display.
Sleep timer
Under the menu item "SLEEP TIMER", you can set how long the player should wait before it automatically
shuts off.
Shutdown
Under the menu item "SHUTDOWN", you can set how long the player should wait when it is not used
before it automatically shuts off.
Record settings
You can set the recording quality for the integrated microphone and the FM radio under the menu item
"RECORD SETTINGS".

Mode: System
Switch to the "SYSTEM" mode.
In this mode, you are provided with information on the memory and the installed firmware version. In addition,
you can change the user language, the load defaults, and delete the entire memory.
Memory / FW
Under the menu item "MEMORY / FW", you are given information on the entire memory and free memory,
and the installed firmware version.
Language
Under the menu item "LANGUAGE", you can select the menu language of the player.
Default settings
Under the menu item "LOAD DEFAULTS", you can restore the original settings of the i.Beat xtension.
The saved files are not deleted when you do this.
Delete all
Under the menu item "DELETE ALL", you can delete all of the files on the i.Beat xtension.

This MP3 player is optimized for the provided headphones (32 Ohm impedance). Using other earphones with a lower impedance
can damage the MP3 player or earphone, especially MP3 players with 2 earphone jacks.

2) Connexion du TrekStor i.Beat xtension un PC
Remarque pour les utilisateurs de Windows 98 : tlchargez tout dabord le pilote de notre page daccueil
http://www.trekstor.de. Installez ensuite le pilote avant de raccorder l'i.Beat xtension votre PC !
Raccordez l'i.Beat xtension au connecteur USB de votre PC. Votre systme d'exploitation dtecte
automatiquement l'i.Beat xtension et ajoute deux DISQUES AMOVIBLES sur le POSTE DE TRAVAIL
(i.Beat xtension + fente pour cartes SD/MMC).
3) Echange de donnes avec le TrekStor i.Beat xtension
a) Marquez les fichiers souhaits avec la souris (MP3 par ex.). Copiez ces derniers en appuyant sur le bouton
droit de la souris ( COPIER ).
b) Sur le POSTE DE TRAVAIL , slectionnez le disque local TREKSTOR I.BEAT XTENSION .
c) Appuyez sur le bouton droit de la souris et slectionnez loption INSRER afin de lancer la procdure de
copie. Aprs clture de la procdure de copie, les donnes sont enregistres sur l'i.Beat xtension.
Remarque : Pendant la transmission de donnes, ne coupez sous aucun prtexte la connexion USB !
4) Dconnexion et sparation du TrekStor i.Beat xtension du PC
Windows 98 (SE) : Dans la barre des tches, en bas droite, cliquez sur l'icne DCONNEXION OU JECTION DE
MATRIEL . Dans la fentre DCONNEXION OU JECTION DE MATRIEL choisissez l'i.Beat xtension et cliquez sur le
bouton OUI . Vous pouvez maintenant dconnecter l'i.Beat xtension du PC.
Windows 2000/ME/XP : Avec le bouton droit de la souris, cliquez dans la barre des tches en bas droite
sur l'icne DCONNEXION OU JECTION DE MATRIEL . Un menu contextuel est affich. Slectionnez ici la rubrique
PRIPHRIQUE DE STOCKAGE DE MASSE USB SUPPRIMER LE DISQUE en cliquant sur le bouton gauche de la souris. Vous
pouvez maintenant dconnecter l'i.Beat xtension du PC.
Remarque : Pour viter des dtriorations sur lappareil et des pertes de donnes, suivez scrupuleusement la
procdure de dconnexion recommande !

5) Mise jour du progiciel du TrekStor i.Beat xtension
a) Raccordez l'i.Beat xtension au port USB de votre PC.
b) Sauvegardez toutes les donnes importantes de l'i.Beat xtension sur votre PC.
c) Vous pouvez mettre jour l'i.Beat xtension avec le dernier progiciel en le tlchargeant partir du site
Internet (sur la page d'accueil de TrekStor sous http://www.trekstor.de).
d) Tlchargez le progiciel (fichier *.zip) et dcompressez ce dernier dans un dossier de votre choix.
e) Suivez ensuite les instructions de la notice de mise jour jointe.
Avertissement : Lisez la notice de mise jour dans son intgralit et respectez avec exactitude la procdure de
mise jour afin dviter des dommages sur l'i.Beat xtension !
6) Formatage du TrekStor i.Beat xtension
a) Raccordez l'i.Beat xtension au port USB de votre PC.
b) Sauvegardez toutes les donnes importantes de l'i.Beat xtension sur votre PC.
c) Ouvrez le POSTE DE TRAVAIL et cliquez avec le bouton droit de la souris sur DISQUE AMOVIBLE .
d) Dans le menu contextuel affich, slectionnez la rubrique FORMATER .
e) Slectionnez loption FAT32 sous SYSTME DE FICHIERS dans la fentre de dialogue affiche.
f ) Cliquez sur DMARRER pour lancer le formatage.
7) Utilisation du TrekStor i.Beat xtension
Mise en marche et arrt
Allumez l'i.Beat xtension en appuyant brivement sur la touche C. Pour teindre de nouveau
l'i.Beat xtension, maintenez la touche C enfonce pendant environ 3 secondes.
Remarque : Veillez ce que le curseur q se trouve dans la position de gauche, cest--dire que la cl de
verrouillage soit dsactive. Si la cl de verrouillage est active, le symbole de la cl ou un message correspondant
apparat.
Les diffrents modes
L'i.Beat xtension possde plusieurs modes. Pour accder un mode, maintenez la touche i enfonce
pendant environ 1 seconde. En appuyant sur la touche E ou F, slectionnez le mode souhait et
confirmez en appuyant brivement sur la touche C. Appuyez sur la touche i pour quitter le menu.
Mode : Musique
Passez dans le mode MUSIQUE .
Lecture
Appuyez sur la touche C pour dmarrer la lecture dun fichier audio.
Pause
Appuyez brivement sur la touche C pour stopper la lecture. Appuyez de nouveau sur la touche C
afin de poursuivre la lecture.

Changer de titre
Si vous appuyez sur la touche F le titre suivant sera slectionn. Si vous appuyez sur la touche E, le
titre prcdent est choisi.
Avancer / reculer dans un titre
En appuyant longuement sur la touche F ou E, vous pouvez avancer / reculer dans un titre.
Maintenez la touche F ou E pour avancer ou reculer.
Remarque : Plus vous appuyez longtemps sur la touche F ou E plus l'appareil avance ou recule rapidement.
Monter / baisser le volume
Appuyez brivement sur la touche c ou d pour augmenter ou diminuer le volume.
Remarque : Si vous maintenez la touche c ou d enfonce plus longtemps, le volume est continuellement modifi.
Navigation de dossiers
Vous accdez la navigation de dossiers dans le mode MUSIQUE en appuyant brivement sur la touche i.
Choisissez entre la mmoire interne et la mmoire externe (carte SD/MMC) en appuyant sur la touche F ou
E et confirmez en appuyant sur la touche C. Appuyez sur la touche F ou E pour marquer le fichier
suivant ou le fichier prcdent. Pour lire le fichier slectionn, appuyez sur la touche C. Pour passer dans
un sous-dossier, appuyez sur la touche C lorsque le dossier est slectionn. Pour revenir dans le rpertoire
principal, appuyez sur la touche i. Pour quitter la navigation de dossiers, appuyez sur la touche i
lorsque vous vous trouvez dans le rpertoire principal.
Effacement dun fichier
Slectionnez le fichier supprimer par l'intermdiaire de la navigation de dossiers et appuyez brivement
sur la touche 4. Pour confirmer la suppression du fichier, appuyez sur la touche F ou E pour passer
sur OUI et appuyez ensuite sur la touche C.
Mode : FM-Radio (option)
Passez dans le mode RADIO FM .
Remarque : veillez toujours raccorder vos couteurs au i.Beat xtension FM tant donn que le cble des
couteurs fait en mme temps fonction d'antenne pour la radio interne.
Appuyez brivement sur la touche g pour appeler un menu. Vous pouvez ici dmarrer la recherche
automatique de stations, mmoriser et effacer une station. Pour quitter le mode FM-Radio, maintenez la
touche g enfonce pendant environ 1 seconde et le menu principal apparat.
Occupation automatique de la mmoire / recherche de station automatique
Pour lancer la recherche de station automatique, passez sur RECHERCHE AUTO dans le menu et confirmez
en appuyant brivement sur la touche C. Le i.Beat xtension FM cherche alors automatiquement les
stations de radio dont la rception est assez claire et mmorise celles-ci sur les 30 emplacements de
mmoire.
Alternance entre la recherche manuelle des stations et le mode demplacement de mmoire
Appuyez brivement sur la touche C afin dalterner entre la recherche manuelle de stations SCAN et le
mode demplacement de mmoire PRESET .
Alternance entre les stations mmorises
Dans le mode demplacements de mmoire PRESET , appuyez brivement sur la touche E ou F
pour alterner entre les emplacements de mmoire existants.
Changement manuel de frquence / recherche manuelle
Dans le mode de slection manuelle de station SCAN , appuyez brivement sur la touche E ou F
pour changer la frquence de rception de respectivement 0,1 MHz. Si vous appuyez suffisamment
longtemps sur la touche E ou F, le i.Beat xtension FM recherche automatiquement les gammes
de frquences infrieures ou suprieures selon les stations avec la meilleure mission.

Mmorisation de stations individuelles
Passez au mode de recherche manuelle des stations SCAN . Rglez la frquence souhaite et
appelez la rubrique MMOR. STATION par lintermdiaire du menu. Avec la touche E ou F, choisissez
un emplacement de mmoire et appuyez sur la touche C pour enregistrer la station.
Effacement de stations enregistres
Dans le menu, slectionnez le point SUPPR. STATION . Avec la touche E ou F slectionnez ensuite un
emplacement de mmoire occup et confirmez leffacement en appuyant sur la touche C.
Enregistrement de radio FM
Appuyez brivement sur la touche 4 pour lancer lenregistrement vocal. En appuyant de nouveau
brivement sur la touche 4, vous terminez lenregistrement.
Remarque : tous les enregistrements vocaux sont mmoriss dans le dossier FM du i.Beat xtension FM.
Mode : Enregistrements
Passez dans le mode ENREGISTR. .
Dans ce mode, vous pouvez lire des enregistrements vocaux et en option des enregistrements radio FM.
Vous pouvez effectuer des enregistrements vocaux par lintermdiaire du microphone intgr. Maintenez
la touche 4 enfonce pendant env. 1 seconde pour dmarrer l'enregistrement vocal. Pour interrompre
lenregistrement actuel, appuyez brivement sur la touche C. Pour reprendre lenregistrement actuel,
appuyez brivement sur la touche C. En appuyant brivement sur la touche 4 vous terminez
l'enregistrement.
Remarque : Tous les enregistrements vocaux sont mmoriss dans le dossier MIC de l'i.Beat xtension.
Remarque : Dans la navigation de dossiers, vous devez slectionner l'emplacement de mmorisation MMOIRE
INTERNE afin que des enregistrements vocaux puissent tre excuts.
L'utilisation et les fonctions de ce mode sont analogues au mode MUSIQUE .
Mode : Paramtres
Passez dans le mode PARAMTRES .
Vous pouvez ici configurer l'galiseur, le mode de lecture, les paramtres d'affichage, la minuterie sommeil,
l'arrt automatique et la qualit d'enregistrement.
En appuyant sur la touche E ou F, slectionnez le paramtre souhait et confirmez en appuyant
brivement sur la touche C. Appuyez sur la touche i pour quitter les rglages.
Egaliseur
Dans la rubrique EGALISEUR , vous pouvez slectionner un galiseur parmi 6 galiseurs prdfinis.
Mode lecture
Dans la rubrique MODE LECTURE , vous pouvez slectionner un mode parmi 6 modes de lecture prdfinis.
Affichage
Contraste : Dans la rubrique CONTRASTE vous pouvez rgler le contraste de l'cran LC.
Rtroclairage : Dans la rubrique RTROCLAIRAGE , vous pouvez rgler aprs quel dlai l'cran est
automatiquement teint.
Information de titre : Dans la rubrique INFO TITRE vous pouvez dterminer quelles informations
(nom de fichier ou informations de balise ID3) doivent tre affiches l'cran.

Minuterie sommeil
Dans la rubrique MINUT. SOMMEIL vous pouvez dterminer aprs quel dlai prdfini le lecteur doit
s'teindre automatiquement.
Arrter
Dans la rubrique ARRTER vous pouvez dterminer aprs quel dlai le lecteur doit s'teindre
automatiquement lorsqu'il n'est pas utilis.
Qualit d'enregistrement
Dans la rubrique QUALIT ENREG. , vous pouvez rgler la qualit d'enregistrement du microphone intgr.
Mode : Systme
Passez dans le mode SYSTME .
Dans ce mode, vous obtenez des informations relatives la mmoire ainsi qu' la version du progiciel
installe. Vous pouvez de plus changer la langue de l'utilisateur, charger les paramtres d'usine et effacer
l'ensemble de la mmoire.
Mmoire / FW
Dans la rubrique MMOIRE / FW , vous obtenez des informations relatives l'ensemble de l'espace
disque et l'espace libre, ainsi qu' la version du progiciel installe.
Langue
Dans la rubrique LANGUE , vous pouvez slectionner la langue de menu du lecteur.
Paramtres usine
Dans la rubrique PARAMTRES USINE vous pouvez remettre l'i.Beat xtension dans l'tat de livraison.
Les fichiers mmoriss ne sont ici pas supprims.
Supprimer tout
Dans la rubrique SUPPR. TOUT vous pouvez supprimer tous les fichiers existants sur l'i.Beat xtension.



Remarques :
Ce lecteur MP3 est optimis pour les couteurs livrs avec lappareil (impdance de 32 ohms). En particulier sur des lecteurs MP3
avec 2 raccordements pour couteurs, lutilisation dautres couteurs avec une faible impdance peut entraner dans certains cas la
dtrioration du lecteur MP3 ou galement des couteurs.
Si vous exposez lappareil des dcharges lectrostatiques, une interruption du transfert de donnes entre l'appareil et l'ordinateur
n'est pas exclue. Dans ce cas, dbranchez lappareil du port USB et rebranchez-le.
Attention : Cet appareil peut gnrer des intensits sonores importantes. Afin dviter des troubles auditifs, il est dconseill dcouter
de manire prolonge avec des intensits sonores leves. Si un bruit de sonnerie devait se produire dans votre oreille, rduisez
immdiatement le volume ou nutilisez plus le baladeur MP3. Notez bien que lutilisation doreillettes ou dcouteurs un volume
lev peut entraner des dommages irrparables au niveau de loue. Avec le temps, vous vous habituez certes des volumes levs,
cest pourquoi vous avez limpression que ces derniers sont normaux, votre capacit auditive peut cependant sen trouver entrave.
Plus vous rglez le volume un niveau lev, plus votre oue peut en porter rapidement des squelles.
Attention : Lutilisation doreillettes lors de la conduite dun vhicule nest pas recommande. Elle est mme interdite dans certains
pays. Conduisez toujours avec prudence et concentration. Arrtez la lecture de votre lecteur MP3 si vous tes distrait ou drang
dans la conduite dun vhicule ou lors dune autre activit qui exige votre pleine attention.
Lutilisation de cbles USB dune longueur suprieure 3 m est dconseille.

2) Collegamento di TrekStor i.Beat xtension ad un PC
Nota per gli utenti di Windows 98: scaricare innanzitutto il driver dalla nostra hompage http://www.trekstor.de.
Installare quindi il driver prima di collegare i.Beat xtension al proprio PC!
Collegare i.Beat xtension ad una delle porte USB del PC. Il sistema operativo riconosce automaticamente
i.Beat xtension e in "RISORSE DEL COMPUTER" inserisce 2 "PERIFERICHE DI ARCHIVIAZIONE DI MASSA" (i.Beat xtension + slot
per schede SD/MMC).
3) Scambio di dati con TrekStor i.Beat xtension
a) Con il mouse selezionare i file desiderati (ad. es. MP3). Copiarli premendo il pulsante destro del mouse
("COPIA").
b) In "RISORSE DEL COMPUTER" selezionare la periferica di archiviazione di massa "TREKSTOR I.BEAT XTENSION".
c) Premere il pulsante destro del mouse e selezionare l'opzione "INCOLLA" per avviare il processo di copia.
Al termine del processo di copia, i dati saranno presenti su i.Beat xtension.
Nota: durante il trasferimento dei dati, non staccare mai la connessione USB!
4) Scollegamento di TrekStor i.Beat xtension dal PC
Windows 98 (SE): fare clic sull'icona "RIMOZIONE SICURA DELL'HARDWARE" in basso a destra sulla barra delle
applicazioni. All'interno della finestra "RIMOZIONE SICURA DELL'HARDWARE" selezionare i.Beat xtension e fare clic sul
pulsante "S". A questo punto possibile scollegare i.Beat xtension dal PC.
Windows 2000/ME/XP: in basso a destra sulla barra delle applicazioni, fare clic con il pulsante destro
del mouse sullicona "RIMOZIONE SICURA DELLHARDWARE". Dal menu contestuale visualizzato selezionare la voce
"RIMOZIONE SICURA PERIFERICA DI ARCHIVIAZIONE DI MASSA USB" facendo clic con il pulsante sinistro del mouse. A questo
punto possibile scollegare i.Beat xtension dal PC.
Nota: per evitare danni alla periferica o eventuali perdite di dati, attenersi al processo di rimozione suggerito!

5) Aggiornamento firmware di TrekStor i.Beat xtension
a) Collegare i.Beat xtension ad una delle porte USB del PC.
b) Salvare sul PC tutti i dati importanti presenti su i.Beat xtension.
c) possibile effettuare l'aggiornamento di i.Beat xtension con la versione firmware pi aggiornata
presente su Internet (alla homepage TrekStor, all'indirizzo http://www.trekstor.de).
d) Scaricare il firmware (file *.zip) e scompattarlo all'interno di una cartella a piacere.
e) Attenersi quindi alle istruzioni della guida allegata relativa all'aggiornamento.
Attenzione: leggere la guida completa all'aggiornamento e attenersi fedelmente alla procedura per evitare di
provocare eventuali danni a i.Beat xtension.
6) Formattazione di TrekStor i.Beat xtension
a) Collegare i.Beat xtension ad una delle porte USB del PC.
b) Salvare sul PC tutti i dati importanti presenti su i.Beat xtension.
c) Aprire "RISORSE DEL COMPUTER" e fare clic con il pulsante destro del mouse su "SUPPORTO DATI".
d) Selezionare la voce del menu contestuale "FORMATTA".
e) All'interno della finestra di dialogo visualizzata, selezionare l'opzione "FAT32" sotto "FILE SYSTEM".
f ) Per eseguire la formattazione, fare clic sul pulsante "AVVIA".
7) Funzionamento di TrekStor i.Beat xtension
Accensione e spegnimento
Per accendere i.Beat xtension , premere brevemente il pulsante C. Per spegnere i.Beat xtension, tenere
premuto il pulsante C per ca. 3 secondi.
Nota: accertarsi che la levetta q sia a sinistra e che il blocco pulsanti sia, pertanto, disattivato. Se il blocco
pulsanti abilitato, viene visualizzata la relativa icona o l'apposito messaggio.
Le diverse modali
i.Beat xtension dispone di diverse modalit. Per accedere ad una modalit, tenere premuto il pulsante i
per circa 1 secondo. Premere i pulsanti E o F per selezionare la modalit desiderata e confermare la
scelta premendo brevemente il pulsante C. Premere il pulsante i per uscire dal menu.
Modalit: Musica
Passare alla modalit "MUSICA".
Riproduzione
Premere brevemente il pulsante C per avviare la riproduzione di un file audio.
Pausa
Premere brevemente il pulsante C per arrestare la riproduzione. Premere nuovamente il pulsante C
per riprendere la riproduzione.
Scorrimento brani
Premere il pulsante F per selezionare il brano successivo. Premere il pulsante E per passare al brano
precedente.

Avanzamento / Riavvolgimento di un brano
Tenendo premuti pi a lungo i pulsanti F o E possibile eseguire il riavvolgimento e lavanzamento
allinterno di un brano. Tenere premuto il pulsante F o E per far avanzare o riavvolgere un brano.
Nota: quanto pi a lungo si tengono premuti i pulsanti F o E, tanto maggiore sar la velocit di
avvolgimento / riavvolgimento del lettore.
Aumento / Riduzione del volume
Premere brevemente il pulsante c o d per aumentare o diminuire l'intensit del volume.
Nota: tenere premuti i pulsanti c o d per modificare l'intensit del volume in modo costante.
Navigazione
In modalit "MUSICA" per accedere alla navigazione a cartelle premere brevemente il pulsante i.
Selezionare la memoria interna o quella esterna (scheda SD/MMC) premendo il pulsante F o E e
confermare la scelta premendo il pulsante C. Premere i pulsanti F o E per selezionare il file successivo o
quello precedente. Per riprodurre il file selezionato, premere il pulsante C. Per passare ad una sottocartella,
premere il pulsante C, dopo aver selezionato la cartella. Per ritornare alla directory principale, premere il
pulsante i. Per uscire dalla navigazione a cartelle, premere il pulsante i se ci si trova nella directory
principale.
Eliminazione di un file
Con la navigazione a cartelle selezionare il file da eliminare e premere brevemente il pulsante 4.
Per confermare l'eliminazione del file, premere i pulsanti F o E per spostarsi a destra o sinistra e
selezionare l'opzione "S". Premere quindi il pulsante C.
Modalit: Radio FM (optional)
Passare alla modalit "RADIO FM".
Nota: collegare sempre le cuffie ad i.Beat xtension FM perch il cavo delle cuffie funge da antenna per la radia interna.
Premendo rapidamente il pulsante g possibile richiamare un menu. In quest'area possibile avviare il
processo di ricerca automatico delle emittenti, memorizzare le emittenti ed eliminarle. Per uscire dalla modalit
radio FM, tenere premuto il pulsante g per 1 secondo circa e viene visualizzato il menu principale.
Assegnazione automatica della memoria / Ricerca automatica emittente
Per avviare la ricerca automatica delle emittenti, selezionare nel menu "RICERCA AUTOM." e confermare la
selezione premendo il pulsante C. A questo punto i.Beat xtension FM ricerca lemittente radiofonica con
la migliore ricezione in modo automatico e la salva nelle 30 posizioni di memoria.
Passaggio dalla selezione manuale dellemittente alla modalit di memorizzazione
Premere rapidamente il pulsante C per passare dalla selezione manuale delle emittenti "SCAN" alla
modalit di memorizzazione "PRESET".
Scorrimento delle emittenti memorizzate
In modalit memorizzazione "PRESET" possibile scorrere le posizioni presenti in memoria premendo
rapidamente il pulsante E o F.
Modifica manuale delle frequenze / Ricerca manuale
In modalit selezione manuale delle emittenti "SCAN" possibile modificare la frequenza di ricezione di
0,1 MHz per volta premendo rapidamente il pulsante E o F. Se si preme il pulsante E o F per
un periodo di tempo sufficientemente lungo, i.Beat xtension FM inizia la ricerca delle emittenti con un
segnale forte nelle gamme di frequenza rispettivamente inferiori e superiori in modo automatico.
Memorizzazione delle singole emittenti
Passare alla selezione manuale delle emittenti "SCAN". Impostare la frequenza desiderata ed utilizzando
il menu selezionare la voce "SALVA STAZIONE". Utilizzando il pulsante E o F selezionare una posizione
della memoria e premere il pulsante C per il salvataggio dellemittente.

Eliminazione delle emittenti memorizzate
Nel menu selezionare la voce "ELIMINA STAZIONE". Quindi utilizzando il pulsante E o F selezionare una
posizione della memoria occupata e confermare loperazione di eliminazione premendo il pulsante C.
Registrazione radio FM
Premere rapidamente il pulsante 4 per avviare la registrazione del parlato. Premendo nuovamente ed
in modo rapido il pulsante 4 la registrazione viene terminata.
Nota: tutte le registrazioni radio sono memorizzate nella cartella "FM" di i.Beat xtension FM.
Modalit: Registrazioni
Passare alla modalit "REGISTRAZ.".
In questa modalit possibile riprodurre registrazioni del parlato e registrazioni radio FM (opzionale).
Utilizzare il microfono integrato per eseguire le registrazioni del parlato. Per avviare la registrazione, tenere
premuto il pulsante 4 per 1 secondo circa. Per interrompere momentaneamente la registrazione, premere
brevemente il pulsante C. Per riprendere la registrazione, premere di nuovo brevemente il pulsante C.
Premere brevemente il pulsante 4 per terminare la registrazione.
Nota: tutte le registrazioni del parlato sono memorizzate nella cartella "MIC" di i.Beat xtension.
Nota: nella navigazione a cartelle, per eseguire la registrazione del parlato selezionare la destinazione "MEMORIA
INTERNA".
I comandi e le funzioni di questa modalit sono analoghi a quelli della modalit "MUSICA".
Modalit: Impostaz.
Passare alla modalit "IMPOSTAZ.".
Qui possibile configurare l'equalizzatore, la modalit di riproduzione, le impostazioni di visualizzazione, il
timer sleep, la chiusura automatica e la qualit della registrazione.
Premere i pulsanti E o F per selezionare l'impostazione desiderata e confermare la scelta premendo il
pulsante C. Premere il pulsante i per uscire dalle impostazioni.
Equalizzatore
Alla voce "EQUALIZZATORE" possibile scegliere uno dei 6 tipi di equalizzatori predefiniti.
Mod. riprod.
Alla voce "MOD. RIPROD." possibile scegliere una delle 6 modalit di riproduzione predefinite.
Display
Contrasto: alla voce "CONTRASTO" possibile impostare il contrasto del display LCD.
Retroilluminazione: alla voce "RETROILLUMINAZIONE" si pu impostare dopo quanto tempo il display debba
spegnersi automaticamente.
Informazioni brano: alla voce "INFORMAZIONI BRANO" si pu definire quali sono le informazioni che si desidera
vengano visualizzate sul display (nome del file o informazioni tag ID3).
Timer sleep
Alla voce "TIMER SLEEP" si pu definire un tempo predefinito, trascorso il quale il lettore deve spegnersi
automaticamente.
Chiusura
Alla voce "CHIUSURA" si pu definire dopo quanto tempo di inattivit il lettore debba spegnersi automaticamente.

Qualit registrazione
Alla voce "QUALIT REGISTRAZIONE" possibile impostare la qualit delle registrazioni effettuate tramite il
microfono integrato.
Modalit: Sistema
Passare alla modalit "SISTEMA".
In questa modalit si possono ricevere informazioni sulla memoria e sulla versione firmware installata.
Si pu inoltre modificare la lingua, ripristinare le impostazioni di fabbrica e cancellare l'intera memoria.
Memoria / FW
Alla voce "MEMORIA / FW" sono disponibili informazioni sulla memoria complessiva e su quella libera,
nonch sulla versione firmware installata.
Lingua
Alla voce "LINGUA" si pu selezionare la lingua da utilizzare per i menu del lettore.
Imp. di fabbrica
Alla voce "IMP. DI FABBRICA" si possono ripristinare le impostazioni di fabbrica (configurazione come alla
consegna) di i.Beat xtension. Durante questa operazione, i file memorizzati non verranno cancellati.
Elimina tutto
Attraverso la voce "ELIMINA TUTTO" possibile cancellare tutti i file presenti su i.Beat xtension.








Note:
Questo lettore MP3 stato ottimizzato in funzione delle cuffie fornite in dotazione (impedenza di 32 Ohm). L'utilizzo di cuffie con
un'impedenza inferiore potrebbe danneggiare il lettore MP3 o le cuffie stesse; questo vale soprattutto per i lettori MP3 con 2 attacchi
per le cuffie.
Nel caso in cui lapparecchio venga esposto a scariche elettrostatiche, il trasferimento di dati tra lapparecchio e il computer
potrebbe venire interrotto. In questo caso, scollegare lapparecchio dalla porta USB e ricollegarlo.
Attenzione: questo apparecchio in grado di generare elevate intensit di volume. Per evitare danni all'udito, si sconsiglia un ascolto
prolungato a volume alto. Se nell'orecchio si avverte un suono sibilante, ridurre immediatamente il volume o non utilizzare pi il lettore
MP3. Si noti che l'impiego di auricolari e cuffie ad un volume eccessivo pu provocare danni permanenti all'udito. Con il passare
del tempo si sviluppa, infatti, l'abitudine a livelli sempre pi alti di volume al punto che, anche se questi ultimi possono sembrare
normali, le facolt uditive rischiano di venire danneggiate. All'aumentare dell'intensit del volume, pu aumentare la velocit con
cui insorgono danni all'udito.
Attenzione: si sconsiglia l'impiego delle cuffie durante la conduzione di automezzi, attivit vietata in alcuni paesi. Guidare sempre
prestando attenzione e rimanendo concentrati. Arrestare la riproduzione del lettore MP3 se durante la conduzione di automezzi o
durante lo svolgimento di altre attivit che richiedono la completa attenzione dell'utente ci si sente distratti o disturbati.
Si consiglia di evitare l'impiego di cavi USB con una lunghezza superiore ai 3 m.

2) Conexin del TrekStor i.Beat xtension con un PC
Nota para usuarios de Windows 98: En primer lugar, descargue los controladores de nuestra pgina web
http://www.trekstor.de. A continuacin, instale los controladores antes de conectar el i.Beat xtension al PC!
Conecte el i.Beat xtension a un puerto USB del PC. El sistema operativo reconocer automticamente el
i.Beat xtension y aadir en "MI PC" dos "DISCOS EXTRABLES".(i.Beat xtension + Ranura para tarjetas SD/MMC).
3) Intercambio de datos con el TrekStor i.Beat xtension
a) Marque los archivos deseados con el ratn (por ejemplo, MP3). Cpielos haciendo clic con el botn
derecho del ratn ("COPIAR").
b) En "MI PC", seleccione el disco extrable "TREKSTOR I.BEAT XTENSION".
c) Haga clic con el botn derecho del ratn y seleccione la opcin "PEGAR" para iniciar el proceso de copia.
Una vez finalizada la copia, los archivos estarn disponibles en el i.Beat xtension.
Nota: No separe bajo ninguna circunstancia la conexin USB durante la transmisin de datos!
4) Desconexin y retirada del i.Beat xtension del PC
Windows 98 (SE): Haga clic en el smbolo "QUITAR HARDWARE CON SEGURIDAD" situado abajo a la derecha en la
barra de tareas. En la ventana "QUITAR HARDWARE CON SEGURIDAD" seleccione el i.Beat xtension y haga clic en el
botn "S". Ahora puede retirar el i.Beat xtension del PC.
Windows 2000/ME/XP: Haga clic con el botn derecho del ratn en el smbolo "QUITAR HARDWARE CON
SEGURIDAD" situado abajo a la derecha en la barra de tareas. En el men contextual que aparece, seleccione
la opcin "DISPOSITIVO DE ALMACENAMIENTO MASIVO USB" y haga clic en "DETENER" con el botn izquierdo del ratn.
Ahora puede retirar el i.Beat xtension del PC.
Nota: Siga el proceso de desconexin recomendado para evitar daos en el reproductor de MP3 o prdidas de
datos!

5) Actualizacin del firmware del TrekStor i.Beat xtension
a) Conecte el i.Beat xtension a un puerto USB del PC.
b) Haga una copia de seguridad en el PC de los archivos importantes que pudieran encontrarse en el
i.Beat xtension.
c) Puede actualizar el i.Beat xtension con el firmware ms actual en Internet (en la pgina web de
TrekStor http://www.trekstor.de).
d) Descargue el firmware (archivo *.zip) y descomprmalo en una carpeta cualquiera.
e) Siga, a continuacin, las instrucciones adjuntas del procedimiento de actualizacin.
Advertencia: Lea completamente las instrucciones y siga exactamente el procedimiento de actualizacin
descrito para evitar daos en el i.Beat xtension!
6) Formateo del TrekStor i.Beat xtension
a) Conecte el i.Beat xtension a un puerto USB del PC.
b) Haga una copia de seguridad en el PC de los archivos importantes que pudieran encontrarse en el
i.Beat xtension.
a) Abra "MI PC" y haga clic con el botn derecho del ratn en "DISCO EXTRABLE".
d) En el men contextual, seleccione la opcin "FORMATEAR...".
e) En la ventana de dilogo que aparece, seleccione la opcin "FAT32" en "SISTEMA DE ARCHIVOS".
f ) Haga clic en el botn "INICIAR" para comenzar el formateo.
7) Manejo del TrekStor i.Beat xtension
Encendido y apagado
Para encender el i.Beat xtension, pulse brevemente la tecla C. Para apagar el i.Beat xtension, mantenga
pulsada la tecla C unos 3 segundos.
Nota: Tenga en cuenta que el interruptor q ha de encontrarse en la posicin izquierda, es decir, el bloqueo de
teclas ha de estar desactivado. Si el bloqueo de teclas est activado, aparecer el smbolo de bloqueo de teclas o
el mensaje correspondiente.
Los distintos modos
El i.Beat xtension dispone de varios modos. Para activar un modo, mantenga pulsada la tecla i
durante aprox. 1 segundo. Seleccione el modo deseado pulsando la tecla E o F y confirme pulsando
brevemente la tecla C. Para salir del men, pulse la tecla i.
Modo: Msica
Cambie al modo "MSICA".
Reproduccin
Pulse brevemente la tecla C para comenzar la reproduccin de un archivo de audio.
Pausa
Pulse brevemente la tecla C para detener la reproduccin. Pulsando otra vez la tecla C se reanuda la
reproduccin.

Cambio de ttulo
Al pulsar la tecla F, se reproducir el siguiente ttulo. Si pulsa la tecla E, pasar al ttulo anterior.
Rebobinado / avance rpido de un ttulo
Para rebobinar o avanzar en un ttulo, mantenga pulsada la tecla F o E. Mantenga pulsadas las
teclas F o E para avanzar o rebobinar.
Nota: Cuanto ms tiempo mantenga pulsada la tecla F o E, ms rpido ser el rebobinado o avance.
Ajuste del volumen
Pulse brevemente la tecla c o d para subir o bajar el volumen, respectivamente.
Nota: Si mantiene pulsadas las teclas c o d, el volumen se ajusta progresivamente.
Navegacin de carpetas
Para entrar en la navegacin de carpetas en el modo "MSICA", pulse brevemente la tecla i. Seleccione
entre la memoria interna y la memoria externa (tarjeta SD/MMC) pulsando las teclas F o E y confirme
pulsando brevemente la tecla C. Pulsando la tecla F o E se marcar el archivo siguiente o anterior.
Para reproducir el archivo seleccionado, pulse la tecla C. Para pasar a una subcarpeta, pulse la tecla C
cuando la carpeta est marcada. Para volver a la carpeta principal, pulse la tecla i. Para salir de la navegacin
de carpetas, pulse la tecla i cuando se encuentre en la carpeta principal.
Eliminar un archivo
Seleccione el archivo que desea borrar con la navegacin de carpetas y pulse brevemente la tecla 4.
Para confirmar la eliminacin del archivo, pulsando la tecla F o E cambie hacia la derecha o la
izquierda, respectivamente, hasta "S" y, a continuacin, pulse la tecla C.
Modo: Radio FM (opcional)
Cambie al modo "RADIO FM".
Nota: Conecte siempre los auriculares al i.Beat xtension FM, ya que el cable de los auriculares acta de antena
de radio.
Pulsando brevemente la tecla g se accede a un men donde podr iniciar la bsqueda automtica
de emisoras, memorizar o borrar emisoras. Para salir del modo FM radio, mantenga pulsada la tecla g
durante 1 segundo, aproximadamente, hasta que aparezca el men principal.
Grabado automtico y bsqueda automtica de emisoras
Para iniciar la bsqueda automtica de emisoras, cambie al modo "BSQUEDA AUTOM." desde el men y
confirme pulsando la tecla C. As, el i.Beat xtension FM busca automticamente las emisoras con una
seal de emisin fuerte y las memoriza en las 30 posiciones de memoria.
Cambio entre seleccin manual de emisora y el modo de posiciones de memoria
Pulse brevemente la tecla C para cambiar entre seleccin manual de emisora "SCAN" y el modo de
posiciones de memoria "PRESET".
Cambio entre emisoras memorizadas
En el modo de posiciones de memoria "PRESET" puede cambiar entre las emisoras memorizadas pulsando
brevemente las teclas E y F.
Cambio manual y bsqueda manual de frecuencia
En el modo de seleccin manual de emisora "SCAN" puede modificar la frecuencia recibida en intervalos
de 0,1 MHz pulsando brevemente las teclas E y F. Si mantiene pulsada la tecla E o F durante
unos instantes, el i.Beat xtension FM busca emisoras automticamente en los rangos de frecuencia
inferior o superior que tengan una seal de emisin fuerte.
Memorizacin individual de emisoras
Cambie al modo de seleccin manual de emisora "SCAN". Sintonice la frecuencia deseada y seleccione a
travs del men la opcin "GUARDAR EMISORA". Con las teclas E y F, seleccione una posicin de memoria
y pulse la tecla C para memorizar la emisora.

Eliminar emisoras memorizadas
Seleccione en el men la opcin "BORRAR EMISORA". Con las teclas E y F, seleccione una posicin de
memoria existente y confirme la eliminacin pulsando la tecla C.
Grabacin de radio FM
Pulse brevemente la tecla 4 para iniciar la grabacin de voz. Volviendo a pulsar brevemente la tecla 4
se finaliza la grabacin.
Nota: Todas las grabaciones de radio se almacenan en la carpeta "FM" del i.Beat xtension FM.
Modo: Grabaciones
Cambie al modo "GRABACIONES".
En este modo podr reproducir sus grabaciones de voz y, opcionalmente, sus grabaciones de radio FM.
A travs del micrfono integrado es posible realizar grabaciones de voz. Pulse la tecla 4 durante 1 segundo
aprox. para iniciar la grabacin de voz. Para poner en pausa la grabacin actual, pulse brevemente la tecla C.
Para volver a reanudar la grabacin actual, vuelva a pulsar brevemente la tecla C. Pulsando brevemente la
tecla 4 se finaliza la grabacin.
Nota: Todas las grabaciones de voz se almacenan en la carpeta "MIC" del i.Beat xtension.
Nota: Deber seleccionar en la navegacin de carpetas el lugar de almacenamiento "MEM. INTERNA" para poder
realizar grabaciones de voz.
El manejo y las funciones de este modo son iguales que en el modo "MSICA".
Modo: Config.
Cambie al modo "CONFIG.".
Aqu puede configurar el ecualizador, el modo de reproduccin, las opciones de visualizacin, la suspensin,
el apagado automtico y la calidad de la grabacin.
Seleccione el ajuste deseado pulsando la tecla E o F y confirme pulsando la tecla C. Para salir de las
opciones de configuracin, pulse la tecla i.
Ecualizador
En la opcin de men "ECUALIZADOR" puede seleccionar uno de los seis ecualizadores predeterminados.
Modo reproduc.
En la opcin de men "MODO REPRODUC." puede seleccionar uno de los seis modos de reproduccin
predeterminados.
Pantalla
Contraste: En la opcin de men "CONTRASTE" puede ajustar el contraste de la pantalla.
Iluminacin de fondo: En la opcin de men "ILUMINACIN DE FONDO" puede ajustar el tiempo tras el cual
se deber desconectar la pantalla automticamente.
Info ttulo: En la opcin de men "INFO TTULO" puede determinar qu informacin (nombre del archivo o
informacin de etiqueta ID3) se deber mostrar en la pantalla.
Suspensin
En la opcin de men "SUSPENSIN" puede ajustar el periodo de tiempo predeterminado tras el cual el
reproductor ha de desconectarse automticamente.

Apagar
En la opcin de men "APAGAR " puede ajustar el periodo de tiempo tras el cual el reproductor se
desconectar automticamente si no ha sido utilizado.
Calidad grabac.
En la opcin de men "CALIDAD GRABAC." se puede ajustar la calidad de grabacin para el micrfono
integrado.
Modo: Sistema
Cambie al modo "SISTEMA".
En este modo se obtiene informacin sobre la memoria y la versin de firmware instalada. Adems, podr
cambiar aqu el idioma de usuario, la configuracin predeterminada de fbrica, as como borrar la memoria
completa.
Memoria / FW
En la opcin de men "MEMORIA / FW" obtendr informacin sobre el espacio de memoria libre y total,
as como sobre la versin de firmware instalada.
Idioma
En la opcin de men "IDIOMA" puede ajustar el idioma de los mens del reproductor.
Ajustes de fbrica
En la opcin de men "AJUSTES DE FBRICA" tiene la posibilidad de restablecer las configuracin predeterminada
de fbrica del i.Beat xtension, es decir, tal y como se suministr el equipo. En este proceso no se borrarn
los archivos almacenados.
Borrar todo
En la opcin de men "BORRAR TODO" puede borrar todos los archivos que hay almacenados en el
i.Beat xtension.





Notas:
Este reproductor de MP3 est optimizado para los auriculares suministrados (impedancia de 32 ohmios). El empleo de otros
auriculares con una impedancia inferior puede daar bajo ciertas circunstancias el reproductor de MP3 o incluso los auriculares,
especialmente en caso de reproductores de MP3 con 2 conexiones de auriculares.
Si expone el equipo a una descarga electrosttica, es posible que la transferencia de datos entre el equipo y el ordenador se vea
interrumpida. En este caso, desconecte el equipo del puerto USB y vuelva a conectarlo.
Atencin: Este aparato puede alcanzar un volumen considerablemente elevado. Para evitar daos en el odo, no es aconsejable
utilizarlo a un volumen demasiado alto de forma prolongada. Si percibe pitidos en el odo, deber reducir inmediatamente el volumen
o dejar de utilizar el reproductor de MP3. Tenga en cuenta que el empleo de auriculares a un volumen elevado puede daar
permanentemente el odo. A pesar de que se puede habituar con el tiempo a un volumen elevado, de modo que le parezca normal,
su capacidad auditiva puede verse afectada. Cuanto ms alto sea el volumen, antes puede daarse su odo.
Atencin: La utilizacin de auriculares durante la conduccin de un automvil no se recomienda y est prohibida en algunos
pases. Conduzca en todo momento con precaucin y prestando atencin. Detenga la reproduccin de MP3 siempre que le
distraiga o moleste durante la conduccin de un automvil o la realizacin de otras actividades que requieran plena concentracin.
Se recomienda no utilizar cables USB de ms de 3 m de longitud.
El fabricante se reserva el derecho de continuar desarrollando el producto. Estos cambios podrn incluirse en este Manual de

2) Ligao do TrekStor i.Beat xtension a um PC
Indicao para utilizadores do Windows 98: em primeiro lugar, descarregue o controlador da nossa pgina
inicial http://www.trekstor.de. Em seguida, instale o controlador, antes de ligar o i.Beat xtension ao seu PC!
Ligue o i.Beat xtension a uma porta USB do seu PC. O seu sistema operativo reconhece automaticamente
o i.Beat xtension e adiciona a "O MEU COMPUTADOR" 2 "DISCOS AMOVVEIS" (i.Beat xtension + entrada de cartes
SD/MMC).
3) Troca de dados com o TrekStor i.Beat xtension
a) Seleccione os ficheiros pretendidos (p. ex. MP3) com o rato. Copie-os premindo o boto direito do rato
("COPIAR").
b) Seleccione em "O MEU COMPUTADOR" o disco amovvel "TREKSTOR I.BEAT XTENSION".
c) Prima o boto direito do rato e seleccione a opo "COLAR" para iniciar o processo de cpia. No final do
processo de cpia os dados encontram-se no i.Beat xtension.
Nota: nunca interrompa a ligao USB durante a transmisso de dados!
4) Terminar sesso e desligar o TrekStor i.Beat xtension do PC
Windows 98 (SE): no lado inferior direito da barra de tarefas clique no smbolo "REMOVER O HARDWARE COM
SEGURANA". Na janela "REMOVER O HARDWARE COM SEGURANA" seleccione o i.Beat xtension e clique no boto "SIM".
Agora j pode retirar o i.Beat xtension do PC.
Windows 2000/ME/XP: clique com o boto direito do rato no lado inferior direito da barra de tarefas no
smbolo "REMOVER O HARDWARE COM SEGURANA". A partir do menu de contexto exibido seleccione o item "REMOVER
DISPOSITIVO DE ARMAZENAMENTO DE MASSA USB" clicando com o boto esquerdo do rato. Agora j pode retirar o
i.Beat xtension do PC.
Nota: siga o processo de encerramento recomendado a fim de evitar danos no aparelho ou perda de dados!

5) Actualizao do firmware do TrekStor i.Beat xtension
a) Ligue o i.Beat xtension a uma porta USB do seu PC.
b) Proteja todos os dados importantes do i.Beat xtension no seu PC.
c) Pode actualizar o i.Beat xtension com a verso mais actual da Internet (na pgina inicial da TrekStor em
http://www.trekstor.de).
d) Descarregue o firmware (ficheiro *.zip) e descomprima-o numa pasta escolha.
e) Em seguida, siga as instrues do manual da actualizao em anexo.
Aviso: leia todo o manual da actualizao e siga criteriosamente o procedimento de actualizao, a fim de
evitar danos no i.Beat xtension!
6) Formatao do TrekStor i.Beat xtension
a) Ligue o i.Beat xtension a uma porta USB do seu PC.
b) Proteja todos os dados importantes do i.Beat xtension no seu PC.
c) Abra "O MEU COMPUTADOR" e clique com o boto direito do rato em "DISCO AMOVVEL".
d) Do menu de contexto seleccione o item "FORMATAR".
e) Na janela de dilogo exibida seleccione em "SISTEMA DE FICHEIROS" a opo "FAT32".
f ) Clique no boto "INICIAR" para efectuar a formatao.
7) Operao do TrekStor i.Beat xtension
Ligao e desconexo
Ligue o i.Beat xtension , premindo a tecla C por breves momentos. Para voltar a desligar o i.Beat xtension,
mantenha premida a tecla C durante aprox. 3 segundos.
Nota: preste ateno para que o boto q se encontre na posio esquerda, para que o bloqueio de
teclas esteja desligado. Se o bloqueio de teclas estiver activado, surge o smbolo de bloqueio de teclas ou uma
mensagem correspondente.
Os diferentes modos
O i.Beat xtension possui diferentes modos. Para chegar a um modo, mantenha premida a tecla i
durante aprox. 1 segundo. Seleccione o modo pretendido, premindo a tecla E ou F e confirme,
premindo brevemente a tecla C. Prima a tecla i para sair do menu.
Modo: Msica
Mude para o modo "MSICA".
Reproduo
Prima a tecla C para iniciar a reproduo de um ficheiro udio.
Pausa
Prima por breves momentos a tecla C para interromper a reproduo. Ao premir novamente a tecla C
a reproduo retomada.

Mudana de faixa
Se premir a tecla F, selecciona a faixa seguinte. Se premir a tecla E, passa para a faixa anterior.
Avanar / retroceder dentro de uma faixa
Ao premir algum tempo a tecla F ou E pode avanar ou retroceder dentro de uma faixa. Mantenha
premida a tecla F ou E para avanar ou retroceder.
Nota: quanto mais tempo a tecla F ou E permanecer premida, mais rpida ser a velocidade do
aparelho.
Aumentar / diminuir o volume
Prima por breves momentos a tecla c ou d para aumentar ou diminuir o volume.
Nota: se mantiver a tecla c ou d premida durante algum tempo, o volume altera-se continuamente.
Navegao de pastas
Chega navegao de pastas no modo "MSICA" clicando por breves momentos na tecla i. Seleccione
entre a memria interna e externa (carto SD/MMC), premindo a tecla F ou E e confirme com a tecla
C. Premindo a tecla F ou E seleccione o ficheiro seguinte ou o anterior. Para reproduzir o ficheiro
seleccionado, prima a tecla C. Para mudar para uma subpasta, prima a tecla C quando a pasta estiver
seleccionada. Para voltar para o directrio principal, prima a tecla i. Para sair da navegao de pastas,
prima a tecla i quando se encontrar no directrio principal.
Eliminao de um ficheiro
Seleccione o ficheiro a ser eliminado atravs da navegao de pastas e prima por breves momentos a
tecla 4. Para confirmar a eliminao de um ficheiro, prima a tecla F ou E para a direita ou para a
esquerda para seleccionar "SIM" e prima, em seguida, a tecla C.
Modo: Rdio FM (opcional)
Mude para o modo "Rdio FM".
Nota: Ligue sempre os seus auscultadores ao i.Beat xtension FM, pois o cabo dos auscultadores serve de antena
para o rdio interno.
Premindo a tecla g chamado um menu. Aqui pode iniciar a procura automtica de emissoras, memorizar
e eliminar emissoras. Para sair do modo de rdio FM, mantenha premida a tecla g durante aprox. 1 segundo,
surgindo o menu principal.
Ocupao automtica da memria / procura automtica de emissoras
Para iniciar a procura automtica de emissoras, mude no menu para "PROCURA AUTOM." e confirme,
premindo a tecla C. O i.Beat xtension FM procura automaticamente emissoras de rdio de forte
recepo e memoriza-as nas 30 posies da memria.
Mudar entre a seleco manual de emissora e o modo das posies da memria
Prima por breves momentos a tecla C para mudar entre a seleco manual de emissora "SCAN" e o modo
das posies da memria "PRESET".
Mudar entre emissoras guardadas
No modo das posies da memria "PRESET" pode, premindo por breves momentos a tecla E ou F,
mudar entre os diferentes locais da memria existentes.
Alterao manual da frequncia / procura manual
No modo manual de seleco de emissora "SCAN" pode, premindo por breves momentos as teclas E
ou F, alterar a frequncia de recepo em 0,1 MHz, respectivamente. Se premir as teclas E ou F
durante tempo suficiente, o i.Beat xtension FM procura automaticamente a gama de frequncias mais
alta ou mais baixa de acordo com as emissoras de melhor recepo.

Memorizao de emissoras individuais
Mude para a seleco manual de emissora "SCAN". Ajuste a frequncia desejada e chame pelo menu
o item "GUARDAR EMISSORA". Seleccione mediante a tecla E ou F uma posio da memria e prima a
tecla C para guardar a emissora.
Eliminao de emissoras guardadas
Seleccione no menu o item "ELIMIN. EMISSORA". Seleccione, em seguida, mediante a tecla E ou F uma
posio da memria ocupada e confirme a eliminao, premindo a tecla C.
Gravao do rdio FM
Prima por breves momentos a tecla 4, para iniciar a gravao de radio. Premindo novamente por
breves momentos a tecla 4, termina a gravao.
Nota: Todas as gravaes de rdio so memorizadas na pasta "FM" do i.Beat xtension FM.
Modo: Gravaes
Mude para o modo "GRAVAES".
Neste modo pode reproduzir as gravaes de voz e gravaes de rdio FM.
Pode efectuar gravaes de voz atravs do microfone integrado. Mantenha a tecla 4 premida durante
aprox. 1 segundo para iniciar a gravao. Para interromper a gravao actual, prima brevemente a tecla C.
Para retomar a gravao actual, prima de novo, brevemente, a tecla C. Premindo por breves momentos a
tecla 4, termina a gravao.
Nota: todas as gravaes de voz so guardadas na pasta "MIC" do i.Beat xtension.
Nota: na navegao de pastas tem de seleccionar o local de memria "MEMRIA INTERNA" para poder efectuar
gravaes de voz.
A operao e as funes neste modo so idnticas s do modo "MSICA".
Modo: Definies
Mude para o modo "DEFINIES".
Aqui pode configurar o equalizador, o modo de reproduo, definies de visualizao, o sleep-timer, a
desconexo automtica e a qualidade de gravao.
Seleccione a definio pretendida, premindo a tecla E ou F e confirme, premindo brevemente a tecla C.
Prima a tecla i para sair das definies.
Equalizador
No item do menu "EQUALIZADOR" pode seleccionar um de 6 equalizadores predefinidos.
Modo reproduo
No item do menu "MODO DE REPROD." pode seleccionar um de 6 modos de reproduo predefinidos.
Visor
Contraste: no item do menu "CONTRASTE" pode definir o contraste do visor LC.
Iluminao de fundo: no item do menu "ILUMINAO DE FUNDO" pode definir o tempo, aps o qual o visor
se apaga automaticamente.
Informao sobre as faixas: no item do menu "INFO SOBRE FAIXA" pode seleccionar as informaes (nome
do ficheiro ou informaes ID3-Tag) que devem ser apresentadas no visor.

Sleep Timer
No item do menu "SLEEP-TIMER" pode seleccionar o perodo, aps o qual o leitor deve desligar-se auto-
maticamente.
Desligar
No item do menu "DESLIGAR" pode definir o tempo que deve decorrer aps a ltima utilizao para o
leitor se desligar automaticamente.
Qualidade da gravao
No item do menu "QUAL. DA GRAVAO" pode definir a qualidade da gravao para o microfone integrado.
Modo: Sistema
Mude para o modo "SISTEMA".
Neste modo obtm informaes sobre a memria e sobre a verso de firmware instalada. Alm disso, pode
mudar o idioma do utilizador, carregar as definies de fbrica e apagar toda a memria.
Memria / FW
No item do menu "MEMRIA / FW" obtm informaes sobre a capacidade total da memria e a memria
disponvel, bem como a verso do firmware.
Idioma
No item do menu "IDIOMA" pode seleccionar o idioma dos menus do leitor.
Definies de fbrica
No item do menu "DEFINIES FBRICA" pode recriar o estado de fornecimento do i.Beat xtension. Os
ficheiros guardados no so apagados.
Apagar tudo
No item do menu "APAGAR TUDO" pode apagar todos os ficheiros que se encontrem no i.Beat xtension.


Notas:
Este leitor de MP3 est optimizado para os auscultadores fornecidos (impedncia de 32 Ohm). A utilizao de outros auscultadores
com impedncia inferior pode provocar eventuais danos do leitor de MP3 ou mesmo nos auscultadores; especialmente em leitores
de MP3 com 2 ligaes para auscultadores.
Se sujeitar o aparelho a uma carga electrosttica, poder provocar uma interrupo da transmisso de dados entre o aparelho e o
computador, entre outros. Neste caso, o aparelho dever ser desligado da porta USB e ligado novamente.
Ateno: este aparelho pode gerar volumes elevados. Para evitar danos auditivos, no deve utiliz-lo durante muito tempo com o
volume alto. Se ouvir um rudo de campainha no ouvido, reduza imediatamente o volume ou no volte a utilizar o leitor de MP3.
Tenha em mente que a utilizao de auriculares ou de auscultadores com um volume elevado pode provocar danos permanentes
na audio. Com o passar do tempo vai-se habituando a volumes cada vez mais elevados, de forma que j lhe parecem normais,
embora a sua capacidade de audio possa estar a ser prejudicada. Quanto mais alto estiver o volume, mais rpido a audio
poder ser prejudicada.
Ateno: a utilizao de auriculares durante a conduo no aconselhada e proibida em alguns pases. Conduza sempre com
cuidado e concentrao. Pare a reproduo do seu leitor MP3, quando conduzir um veculo ou durante outras actividades que
exijam toda a sua ateno e possam ser, por esse motivo, prejudicadas.
Deve evitar-se a utilizao de cabos USB com mais de 3 m de comprimento.

2) De TrekStor i.Beat xtension verbinden met een PC
Opmerking voor gebruikers van Windows 98: Download eerst de driver van onze homepage http://www.trekstor.de.
Installeer eerst de driver vrdat u de i.Beat xtension op uw PC aansluit!
Sluit de i.Beat xtension aan op een USB-uitgang van uw PC. Uw gebruikssysteem detecteert automatisch
de i.Beat xtension en voegt vervolgens twee "Lokale schijven" (lokaal station, i.Beat xtension + SD/MMC-
kaartsleuf ) aan "DEZE COMPUTER" toe.
3) Data-uitwisseling met de TrekStor i.Beat xtension
a) Markeer met de muis de gewenste bestanden, (bijv. MP3). Kopieer deze door op de rechter muisknop te
drukken ("KOPIREN").
b) Selecteer in "DEZE COMPUTER" de lokale schijf "TREKSTOR I.BEAT XTENSION".
c) Druk op de rechter muisknop en selecteer de optie "INVOEGEN" om het kopiren te starten. Als het
kopiren voltooid is, staan de bestanden op de i.Beat xtension.
Opmerking: Koppel tijdens de dataoverdracht in geen enkel geval de USB-verbinding los!
4) De TrekStor i.Beat xtension afmelden en loskoppelen van de PC
Windows 98 (SE): Klik rechtsonder in de taakbalk op het symbool "HARDWARE VEILIG VERWIJDEREN". Selecteer in
het venster "HARDWARE VEILIG VERWIJDEREN" de i.Beat xtension en klik vervolgens op de knop "JA". Nu kunt u de
i.Beat xtension loskoppelen van uw PC.
Windows 2000/ME/XP: Klik met de linker muisknop rechtsonder in de taakbalk op het symbool "HARDWARE
VEILIG VERWIJDEREN". Selecteer uit het geopende contextmenu de optie "USB-APPARAAT VOOR MASSAOPSLAG - STATION
VERWIJDEREN" door hierop met de linker muisknop te klikken. Nu kunt u de i.Beat xtension loskoppelen van
uw PC.
Opmerking: Wij adviseren u om de aanbevolen afmeldprocedure te volgen om schade aan het apparaat of om
dataverlies te voorkomen!

5) Firmware-update van de TrekStor i.Beat xtension
a) Sluit de i.Beat xtension aan op een USB-uitgang van uw PC.
b) Sla alle belangrijke gegevens van de i.Beat xtension op uw PC op.
c) U kunt de i.Beat xtension met de meest recente firmwareversie op Internet (op de TrekStor Homepage
onder http://www.trekstor.de) updaten.
d) Download de firmware (*.zip-bestand) van de Homepage en unzip het bestand naar een map.
e) Volg aansluitend de instructies van de meegeleverde handleiding voor updates.
Waarschuwing: Lees eerst de volledige handleiding door en neem nauwkeurig de updateprocedure in acht om
schade aan de i.Beat xtension te voorkomen!
6) Formatteren van de TrekStor i.Beat xtension
a) Sluit de i.Beat xtension aan op een USB-uitgang van uw PC.
b) Sla alle belangrijke gegevens van de i.Beat xtension op uw PC op.
c) Open "DEZE COMPUTER" en klik met de rechter muisknop op "LOKAAL STATION".
d) Selecteer in het contextmenu de optie "FORMATTEREN...".
e) Selecteer in het geopende dialoogvenster onder "BESTANDSYSTEEM" de optie "FAT32".
f ) Klik op de knop "STARTEN" om het formatteren uit te voeren.
7) Bediening van de TrekStor i.Beat xtension
In- en uitschakelen
Schakel de i.Beat xtension in door kort op de C-toets te drukken. Schakel de i.Beat xtension uit door
gedurende drie seconden op de C-toets te drukken.
Opmerking: Let er op dat de q-regelaar zich geheel links bevindt en dat de toetsblokkering is uitgeschakeld.
Als de toetsblokkering is geactiveerd, verschijnt het symbool van de toetsblokkering of een overeenkomstige
melding.
De verschillende modi
De i.Beat xtension beschikt over verschillende modi. Om een modus te openen, drukt u gedurende ca.
1 seconde op de i-toets. Selecteer de gewenste modus door op de E- resp. F-toets te drukken en
bevestig vervolgens de modus door op de C-toets te drukken. Door op de i-toets te drukken, verlaat
u het menu.
Modus: Muziek
Schakel eerst naar de modus "MUZIEK".
Weergave
Druk kort op de C-toets om de weergave van een audiobestand te starten.
Pauze
Druk kort op de C-toets om de weergave te onderbreken. Druk nogmaals op de C-toets om de
weergave weer voort te zetten.

Titel wisselen
Als u op de F-toets drukt, wordt de volgende titel geselecteerd. Als u op de E-toets drukt, wordt de
vorige titel geselecteerd.
Vooruit- / Terugspoelen binnen een titel
Door langer op de F- resp. E-toets te drukken, kunt u binnen de huidige titel spoelen. Druk langer
op de F- resp. E-toets om vooruit- of terug te spoelen.
Opmerking: Des te langer u op de F- resp. E-toets drukt, des te sneller spoelt het apparaat.
Volume harder / zachter
Druk kort op de c- resp. d-toets om het volume harder resp. zachter te stellen.
Opmerking: Als u langer op de c- resp. d-toets drukt, wijzigt het volume continu.
Mapnavigatie
U kunt de mapnavigatie in de modus "MUZIEK" openen door kort op de toets i te drukken. Selecteer
tussen het interne en externe geheugen (SD/MMC-kaart) door op de F- resp. E-toets te drukken
en bevestig dit vervolgens door op de C-toets te drukken. Door op de F- resp. E-toets te drukken,
selecteert u het volgende of vorige bestand. Om het geselecteerde bestand weer te geven, drukt u op de
C-toets. Om een submap te openen, drukt u als de map is geselecteerd op de C-toets. Om weer terug te
keren naar de hoofddirectory drukt u kort op de i-toets. Om de mapnavigatie te beindigen, drukt u
op de i-toets terwijl u zich in de hoofddirectory bevindt.
Wissen van een bestand
Selecteer het te wissen bestand via de mapnavigatie en druk kort op de toets 4. Om het wissen van
het bestand te bevestigen, schakelt u door op de F- resp. E-toets te drukken op "JA" en vervolgens
drukt u op de C-toets.
Modus: FM-radio (optioneel)
Schakel eerst naar de Modus "FM-RADIO".
Opmerking: Sluit altijd uw hoofdtelefoon op de i.Beat xtension FM aan, omdat de kabel van de hoofdtelefoon
als antenne voor de interne radio wordt gebruikt.
Druk kort op de g-toets om een menu te openen. Hier kunt u de automatische zoekopdracht naar
zenders starten, zenders opslaan en wissen. Om de FM-Radio-Modus te verlaten, houdt u de g-toets
gedurende ca. 1 sec. ingedrukt om terug te keren naar het hoofdmenu.
Automatisch opslaan / Automatisch zoeken naar zenders
Om de automatische zoekopdracht naar zenders te starten, schakelt u in het menu naar "AUTOM. ZOEKEN"
en bevestigt u dit door op de C-toets te drukken. De i.Beat xtension FM zoekt nu automatisch naar
radiozenders met goed ontvangstbereik en slaat deze op onder de 30 geheugenplaatsen.
Schakelen tussen handmatige zenderkeuze en de geheugenmodus
Druk kort op de C-toets om tussen de handmatige zenderkeuze "SCAN" en de geheugenmodus
"PRESET" te schakelen.
Schakelen tussen opgeslagen zenders
In de geheugenmodus "PRESET" kunt u door kort op de E- resp. F-toets te drukken, tussen de
beschikbare geheugenplaatsen schakelen.
Handmatige frequentiewijziging / handmatig zoeken
In de modus handmatige zenderkeuze "SCAN" kunt u door kort op de E- resp. F-toets de ontvang-
stfrequentie met telkens 0,1 MHz wijzigen. Als u langer op de E- resp. F-toets drukt, zoekt de i.Beat
xtension FM automatisch de onderste resp. bovenste frequentiebereiken van zenders met goede
ontvangst af.

Opslaan van individuele zenders
Schakel naar de handmatige zenderkeuze "SCAN". Stel de gewenste frequentie in en open via het menu
het menupunt "ZENDER OPSLAAN". Selecteer via de E- resp. F-toets een geheugenplaats en druk op de
C-toets voor het opslaan van de zenders.
Wissen van opgeslagen zenders
Selecteer in het menu het punt "ZENDER WISSEN". Selecteer vervolgens via de E- resp. F-toets een
toegewezen geheugenplaats en bevestig het wissen door op de C-toets te drukken.
FM-radio-opname
Druk kort op de 4-toets om de radio-opname te starten. Door kort op de 4-toets te drukken,
beindigt u de opname.
Opmerking: Alle radio-opnamen worden in de "FM"-map van de i.Beat xtension FM opgeslagen.
Modus: Opnamen
Schakel eerst naar de modus "OPNAMEN".
In deze modus kunt u gesproken opnamen en optionele FM-radio-opnamen weergeven.
Via de gentegreerde microfoon kunt u spraakopnamen maken. Druk gedurende ca. 1 seconde op de 4-toets
om de opname te starten. Om de huidige opname te onderbreken, drukt u kort op de C-toets. Om de
huidige opname weer op te nemen, drukt u nogmaals kort op de C-toets. Door kort op de 4-toets te
drukken, beindigt u de opname.
Opmerking: Alle gesproken opnamen worden in de "MIC"-map van de i.Beat xtension opgeslagen.
Opmerking: U moet in de mapnavigatie de geheugenlocatie "INTERN GEHEUGEN" selecteren opdat gesproken opnamen
kan worden geactiveerd.
De bediening en functies in deze modus functioneren analoog met de modus "MUZIEK".
Modus: Instellingen
Schakel eerst naar de modus "INSTELLINGEN".
Hier kunt u de equalizer, de weergavemodus, weergave-instellingen, de sleeptimer, het automatisch
uitschakelen en de opnamekwaliteit configureren.

Schakel eerst naar de modus "SYSTEEM".
In deze modus vindt u informatie over het geheugen alsmede de genstalleerde firmware-versie. Daarnaast
kunt u de gebruikerstaal inschakelen, de fabrieksinstellingen herstellen alsmede het volledige geheugen
wissen.
Geheugen / FW
Onder het menupunt "GEHEUGEN / FW" vindt u informatie over de volledige en vrije geheugenruimte
alsmede de genstalleerde firmware-versie.
Taal
Onder het menupunt "TAAL" kunt u de menutaal van de player selecteren.
Fabrieksinstellingen
Onder het menupunt "FABRIEKSINSTELLINGEN" kunt u de i.Beat xtension herstellen conform de
fabrieksinstellingen. De opgeslagen bestanden worden hierbij niet gewist.
Alles wissen
Onder het menupunt "ALLES WISSEN" kunt u alle bestanden die op de i.Beat xtension staan, wissen.

Opmerking:
Deze MP3-player is geoptimaliseerd voor de meegeleverde hoofdtelefoon (impedantie van 32 Ohm). Het gebruik van andere
hoofdtelefoons met geringe impedantie kan met name bij MP3-spelers met twee hoofdtelefooningangen, onder bepaalde
omstandigheden tot beschadiging van de MP3-speler of hoofdtelefoon leiden.
Als u het apparaat blootstelt aan elektrostatische ontlading, kan dit onder bepaalde omstandigheden tot een onderbreking van
de datatransfer leiden tussen het apparaat en de computer. In dit geval moet het apparaat direct worden losgekoppeld van de
USB-poort en opnieuw worden aangesloten.
Waarschuwing: Dit apparaat kan een hoog volume bereiken. Om schade aan het gehoor te voorkomen, mag u niet gedurende een
langere tijd naar een hoog volume luisteren. Als u een ruis in uw oor hoort, moet u direct het volume zachter zetten of de MP3-player
niet meer gebruiken. Let op dat bij het gebruik van hoofdtelefoons of oortelefoons met hoog volume een continue beschadiging

Megjegyzsek:
Ezt az MP3 lejtszt a vele szlltott fejhallgathoz (32 ohm impedancia) lltottk be. Ha kisebb impedancij fejhallgatt
alkalmaz, azzal bizonyos krlmnyek kztt az MP3 lejtszt vagy magt a fejhallgatt is krosthatja; klnsen a kt fejhallgat
csatlakozssal elltott MP3 lejtszk estn.
Amennyiben a kszlket elektrosztatikus kisls ri, az adott esetben megszakthatja az adattvitelt a kszlk s a szmtgp
kztt. Ebben az esetben hzza ki a kszlket az USB portbl, majd csatlakoztassa ismt.
Figyelem: Ez a kszlk kpes nagy hangert ellltani. Ne hallgasson zent hossz idn keresztl nagy hangervel, hogy ne
krosodjon a hallsa. Ha cseng a fle, azonnal cskkentse a hangert vagy ne hasznlja tovbb az MP3 lejtszt. Gondoljon arra,
hogy ha a fl- vagy fejhallgatt nagy hangervel hallgatja, annak tarts hallskrosods lehet a kvetkezmnye. Idvel ugyan
hozzszokik a nagy hangerhz gy, hogy ez az n szmra normlis hangernek tnhet, azonban a hallkpessge gy is
krosodhat. Minl nagyobb hangert llt be, annl gyorsabban krosodhat a hallsa.
Figyelem: Jrmvezets kzben nem ajnlott, s egyes orszgokban tilos is flhallgatt hasznlni. Mindig vatosan s odafigyelve
vezessen. lltsa le az MP3 lejtszjt, ha az eltereli a figyelmt vagy zavarja a jrmvezets vagy ms olyan tevkenysg kzben,
amely a teljes figyelmt ignyli.
Ne hasznljon 3 m-nl hosszabb USB kbelt.
