tolerance at D inspection
Background
During engine production the engines are filled
with their specified volume of motor oil.
Tolerances
Engines are filled with the specified volume
of motor oil during production but the oil may
be below the max. mark on the dipstick when
it is checked in connection with D inspection
(Delivery inspection).
In the inspection instructions, booklets
00:03-07/1 and 00:03-57, the approved volume
is specified with reference to the min. and max.
marks on the dipstick. This is consequently also
approved in connection with D inspection.
Reasons why the oil level does not correspond
with the max. mark on the dipstick include:
• Mounting in different chassis variants
• Dipstick tolerances
• Differences in oil temperature
• Inclination of the chassis

Toleranz der Ölfüllmenge
im Motor bei D-Inspektion
Hintergrund
Bei der Fertigung der Motoren werden sie
mit der spezifizierten Ölfüllmenge gefüllt.
Toleranzen
Da die Motoren in Laufe der Fertigung mit
Motoröl der angegebenen Menge gefüllt wer-
den, kann der Ölstand bei der D-Inspektion
(Lieferinspektion) manchmal unter der Max.-
Markierung liegen.
In den Wartungsanweisungen, Heft 00:03-07/1
bzw. 00:03-57, ist der zulässige Ölstand in be-
zug auf die Min.- und Max.-Markierungen des
Ölmeßstabs angegeben. Dies trifft somit auch
auf die D-Inspektion zu.
Die Gründe für die Abweichung von der Max.-
Markierung sind u.a.:
• der Einbau in unterschiedlichen
Fahrgestellvarianten
• die Toleranzen des Ölmeßstabs
• Unterschiede in der Öltemperatur
• die Neigung des Fahrgestells
