I Ameesha Manoj am writing to you to express my interest in pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare
Management.

Excellence in the field of healthcare involves the grit and determination to strive to always do ones best in
union with the various stratum within a healthcare facility. This was becoming more and more obvious to
me as I watched my grandmother being taken in and out of hospitals while suffering from pneumonia. As
a desperate 15-year-old, I scoured the internet to find out about the best hospitals she could be taken to in
hopes of hearing her voice again. Listening to her talk about how she didn’t want to leave her hospital room
out of the sadness she would feel from leaving her new friends, who surprisingly were the hospital staff,
opened my eyes to a world beyond doctors and nurses, the healthcare managers. Empathy and compassion
play as much of a crucial role as passion for healthcare when it comes to a healthcare manager. As someone
who was once in the same situation as my grandmother, I tend to believe that a patient can be cured faster
when surrounded with positive energy. My desire to provide this positive energy while learning about what
goes into creating a perfect healthcare facility has never been more powerful.

This desire drove me into reading countless articles about building the required maturity and decision
making ability for me to become successful in this field. While jumping from one article to another, I came
across an ad marketing Germany as a potential destination to pursue my dreams of one day becoming the
reason why a patient would express sadness while leaving an institution known for intimidating nature.
Europe's most open and consumer-focused healthcare system has long been found in Germany. The
government health system in Germany maintained a record reserve of more than €18 billion, making it one
of the healthiest healthcare systems in the world at the time. To become a part of such a well devised
healthcare system seemed like a farfetched dream, but the Bachelor's programme of Healthcare
Management in German universities makes it possible for me to one day contribute to this already well
developed and efficient sector of Germanys economy. Success with a public university in Germany can
open doors to the world’s best hospitals while also integrating key skills like excellent interpersonal
communications and an opportunity to lifelong learning in this ever evolving industry.

The International Institute of Studies and Cooperation e.V. has accepted me under the M-Kurs English
Preparatory Course Pearson Program, (IISC), ISB Studienkolleg. I picked ISB because its campus and
curriculum fit my requirements and my interests in the field of healthcare. Higher order thinking abilities
and out of the box ideas are requirements for enrollment at IISC. This encourages one to think for
themselves and create strategies that will help with efficient problem solving, which are crucial exigencies
when it comes to becoming a cutting edge healthcare professional. Once I pass the ISB Preparatory course-
Natural Sciences at ISB Studienkolleg, I will be eligible to apply to any Public University such as
Deggendorf Institute of Technology, Deggendorf, Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences, Kleve, and
University of Applied Science- Wurburg- Schweinfurt to study Healthcare Management programs.
Entering the global job market is made much easier by studying in Germany. The universities in Germany
are well known on a global scale. Germany-based degrees also have a favorable reputation among
employers. Despite being among the greatest in the world, education in Germany is less expensive than in
many other nations. One benefit of the German educational system is the opportunity to study and work at
the same time. Theory and practice coexist in applied science universities. Cities and villages also provide
a secure setting for international students. My goal is to close the bridge between patients and their fear of
hospitals by leading, managing and administering public health systems and healthcare with proper
teamwork and knowledge to serve both the people and the country. Healthcare needs are universal across
all people and I would like to use healthcare management as a universalizing force to manage long-term
care programs and maintain high standards of quality in the provision of patient care services.
