We’re well aware that words alone are unlikely to convince a true
biker of the advantages of cabin motorcycles; nor will they
convert a dyed-in-the-wool SPORTCAR driver. SPORTCARS and
motorcycles both have their fans, and rightly so. The only way to
win them over is to belt them into the back seat of our machine
and take them for a spin, taunting the cars and superbikes at
every bend in the road. They will soon see the MonoTracer for
what it is – the perfect combination of a sporty touring motor-
cycle and a real “lean machine” SPORTCAR. In short, it’s the
ideal vehicle for for year-round-fun and efficient daily commuting.

The new MonoTracer is aimed at an international CLIENTELE of
people who clearly understand that grossly oversized engines
are unnecessary for > 200 KPH cruise and SUPERSPORT perfor-
mance, and that the single track concept can do with 1 HP for what
Sindelfingen and Zuffenhausen are still wasting 3–4.
This exclusive driving machine, with a planned production of only
100 per year, gives you the performance of SUPER-SPORTCARS
combined with the unrivalled exhilaration of SUPERBIKE’s angles
of lean. Many of our clients have an academic background, pilot’s
licenses and know the real 21-km-north-loop of the NUERBURG-
RING not only from the PLAYSTATION. Some are over 40, the age
when rheumatism might set in and most of them have to be at
work on Mondays without suffering from aches and pains of the
weekend’s fun racing. With the MonoTracer they use the same
vehicle to commute very efficiently to the office as they did for
getting their kicks during weekends.

Der neue MonoTracer ist für eine internationale KUNDSCHAFT
bestimmt, welche verstanden hat, dass gewaltig aufgeblasene
Motoren für > 200 km/h Reisegeschwindigkeit und sportliche Fahr-
leistungen unnötig sind und dass unser effizientes Einspurkonzept
mit einem PS dasselbe erreicht, wozu in Zuffenhausen und Sindel-
fingen noch 3–4 PS verschwendet werden.
Diese exklusive Fahrmaschine, mit einer geplanten Produktion von
lediglich 100 Fahrzeugen pro Jahr, ermöglicht zusätzlich zu den
Fahrleistungen eines SUPER-SPORTWAGENS die beeindruckende
Schräglagefreiheit eines SUPERBIKES. Viele unserer Kunden sind
Akademiker, haben den Pilotenschein und kennen die NÜRBURG-
RING-Nordschleife nicht nur von der PLAYSTATION. Einig haben die
40 erreicht, sind im rheumafähigen Alter und müssen am Montag
zur Arbeit, ohne dass es überall weh tut von wegen Wochenende
auf der Rennstrecke. Mit dem MonoTracer können sie sehr effizient
dazu ein- und dasselbe Fahrzeug benützen.

More than 90 ECOMOBILES have been built from 1985 thru 2005.
They have notched up more than 12 million kilometers during the
last 20 years. With 10 such vehicles we criss-crossed the USA
from Atlanta to Montana and back, 11’000 KMS in 3 weeks without
a single technical problem, from the burning heat of Arizona’s
desert to the icy heights of the Rocky Mountains.
The MonoTracer is based on the SUPER-ECO technology with some
modifications and, from start of production, will continue to foster
ECO’s reliability reputation.

Über 90 ECOMOBILE sind zwischen 1985 und 2005 gebaut worden.
Diese haben in den letzten 20 Jahren über 12 Millionen Kilometer
zurückgelegt. Mit 10 davon sind wir schon 1996 innerhalb von

sengende Hitze Arizonas bis zu den eisigen Rockies. Ohne das
kleinste Problem. Basteln überlassen wir andern.

einigen verbessernden Modifikationen. Ab Produktionsbeginn wird
er den zuverlässigen Ruf der ECOS weiter verstärken.

The first rule for excellent design always has been “FORM follows
FUNCTION”. The CABIN MOTORCYCLE was born with this MAXIM
as part of it’s genetic make-up. Much emphasis was placed on
surface finish, detail workmanship, material selection, joint tole-
rances ect. so that the MonoTracer can bear comparison with the
best models from manufacturers of both 2- and 4-wheeled
vehicles. This was achieved with the help of suppliers to the very
big players in the market.
Die wichtigste Regel für exzellentes Design ist “FORM follows
FUNCTION”. Dem Kabinenmotorrad ist dieser Grundsatz schon in die
Wiege gelegt worden. Beim MonoTracer wurde unter Zuzug von
Lieferanten der ganz grossen PLAYER am Markt dem Oberflächen-
Finish, der Detailverarbeitung, Haptik, den Spaltmassen und der
Auswahl von Materialien hohe Aufmerksamkeit geschenkt, sodass er
durchaus an den besten Produkten der grossen Zwei- und Vierrad-
Mitbewerber gemessen werden kann.
