Hochschulzulassungsgesetz - BayHZG) vom 09.Mai 2007 (BayRS 2210-8-2 WFK) und der Verordnung über die Qualifikation für ein
Studium an den Hochschulen des Freistaates Bayern und den staatlich anerkannten nichtstaatlichen Hochschulen
(Qualifikationsverordnung – QualV) vom 02.11.2007 (BayRS 2210-1-1-3-UK/WFK);

Zulassungsbescheid für das erste Semester im Wintersemester 2023/24

Sehr geehrte Frau Boonchumanee,

hiermit werden Sie im Masterstudiengang International Energy Engineering an der Ostbayerischen Technischen
Hochschule Amberg-Weiden, Abteilung Amberg zugelassen. Sie erfüllen die Voraussetzungen für den oben
genannten Studiengang. Der geforderte Sprachnachweis für Englisch auf dem Sprachniveau B2 wurde geprüft und
anerkannt. Weitere Sprachnachweise können zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt nach der Immatrikulation nachgereicht
werden. Der geforderte Sprachnachweis für Deutsch auf dem Sprachniveau A2 muss bis spätestens Ende des zweiten
Semesters nachgereicht werden.

Da Ihr Vorstudium weniger als die geforderten 210 CP hatte, sind die fehlenden Punkte während des Studiums
vollständig zu erbringen.

Der Studienplatz wird wie folgt angenommen:

Die Annahme des Studienplatzes muss bis spätestens 16.07.2023 über den „Bewerberstatus“ unter folgendem
Link online erfolgen: OTH-Startseite, rechts im Startbild „Zur Studienplatz Bewerbung“ oder direkt über
www.primuss.de/status-fhaw

Zusätzlich müssen Sie sich bis spätestens 16.07.2023 durch folgende 3 Schritte vorläufig
immatrikulieren (endgültige Immatrikulation erfolgt ca. 2 Wochen vor Studienbeginn durch die
Hochschule):

1. Bitte führen Sie den Zahlungsvorgang im Bewerbungsfortschritt über den Button „Zur Zahlung (ePayment)“
aus, um den Studentenwerksbeitrag (72 Euro) und das Semesterticket (90 Euro) in Höhe von 162 Euro
zu begleichen (Im Bewerbungsfortschritt ganz nach unten scrollen).

Hinweis: Es kann bis zu einer Woche dauern, bis die Zahlung eingegangen ist.

2. Bitte beachten Sie, dass die Meldungen Ihrer Krankenkassen nur noch digital (Datensatz) an die
Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule Amberg-Weiden erfolgt. Krankenkassenbescheinigungen in
Papierform sind nicht mehr erforderlich.
• Gesetzlich Versicherte: Bitte bei Krankenkasse angeben, dass Sie sich an der OTH Amberg-Weiden
immatrikulieren.
 • Privat Versicherte: Bitte bei beliebiger gesetzlicher Krankenkasse anfragen, dass die Information
"Versicherungsfrei" an uns übersandt wird.
• Versicherungspflicht befreit: Bitte die Krankenkasse um Bestätigung bitten.

3. Bitte loggen Sie sich erneut in Ihre Online-Bewerbung ein:

www.primuss.de/status-fhaw

Hier müssen Sie im Bewerbungsfortschritt folgenden Schritt ausführen:

➢ Upload eines Passbildes für Ihren Studentenausweis im Format JPG
Bitte wenden

4. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass alle erforderlichen Dokumente hochgeladen wurden und diese nicht durch uns
„zurückgewiesen“ wurden (Fristen!).

Die Hochschule behält sich vor, stichprobenartig die persönliche Vorlage von Ausweisdokumenten oder
Bewerbungsunterlagen zu fordern.

Dies gilt auch für interne Wechsler an der OTH Amberg-Weiden.

Es müssen alle Schritte (1-3) fristgerecht durchgeführt werden, da ansonsten keine Immatrikulation vorgenommen werden
kann! Sollte die Immatrikulation nicht fristgerecht und vollständig durchgeführt worden sein, kann keine Einschreibung
durch die Hochschule erfolgen.

Sobald die Hochschule den Geldeingang des Studentenwerksbeitrages festgestellt hat und alle anderen Voraussetzungen
zur Immatrikulation auch gegeben sind, werden Sie ca. 2 Wochen vor Studienbeginn an der OTH Amberg-Weiden
immatrikuliert. Ab diesem Zeitpunkt erhalten Sie über das Bewerberportal eine Zugangskennung zum Studierendenportal
und können dort Ihre Semesterbescheinigungen herunterladen.

Im gleichen Zeitraum erstellen wir Ihren Studentenausweis, den wir Ihnen vor Studienbeginn an die in der Bewerbung
angegebene Adresse zusenden. Bitte stellen Sie deshalb sicher, dass eine aktuelle Adresse hinterlegt ist. Sollten Sie
keine Adresse in Deutschland angegeben haben, behalten wir Ihren Studierendenausweis und Sie können ihn bei Ihrer
Ankunft in Amberg abholen und validieren. Sie sind damit ab dem 01.10.2023 Studierender der OTH Amberg-Weiden. Bitte
kümmern Sie sich rechtszeitig um eine Unterkunft. Wir können Ihnen keinen sichern Platz im Studentenwohnheim
garantieren. Sie müssen sich beim Studentenwerk Oberfranken bewerben oder anderweitig eine Unterkunft finden.

werden muss, wenn er auf falschen Angaben beruht; ist er sonst fehlerhaft, kann er nach pflichtgemäßem Ermessen
zurückgenommen werden. Bitte heben Sie diesen Bescheid unbedingt sorgfältig auf, falls Sie ihn in den nächsten Jahren
zur Vorlage bei Behörden benötigen. Zweitschriften können grundsätzlich nicht ausgestellt werden.

Enforcement of the regulation regarding admission to public universities in Bavaria (University Admission Regulation - HZV) of
June 18, 2007 (BayRS 2210-8-2-1-1 WFK) in connection with the law regarding university admission in Bavaria (Bavarian
University Admission Law BayHZG) of May 9, 2007 (BayRS 2210-8-2 WFK) and the regulation on qualifications required for
studies at a public university in Bavaria or at a recognized private university (qualification regulation - QualV) of November 11,
2007 (BayRS 2210-1-1-3-UK/WFK);

Letter of Admission for the first Semester in Wintersemester 2023/24

Dear Mr/Ms Boonchumanee,

This is to confirm that you have been admitted to the master’s degree programme in International Energy
Engineering at the Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule Amberg-Weiden (Technical University of Applied
Sciences), department Amberg. You fulfil the requirements for admission to the abovenamed degree
programme in Germany. Your proof of the required language level of English, B2, has been checked and
accepted. Further language requirements for the program can be achieved and submitted at a later date,
after matriculation. Proof of A2 level knowledge of German has to be submitted by the end of the second
semester at the latest.

To accept your study place, please proceed as follows:

You must confirm your a c c e p t a n c e o f t h e study place online by 16.07.2023 at the latest by
selecting “applicant status” on the application portal. To get to the portal, please follow this link
www.primuss.de/status-fhaw or click on the button "Zur Studienplatz-Bewerbung " (German) or “Apply
here” (English) on our homepage.
In your “Bewerbungsfortschritt” (German) or "Status of my application" (English) you can accept your
university place.

In addition, you must provisionally enrol by 16.07.2023 via the following steps (final enrolment
will be carried out by the university approximately 2 weeks before your studies start):

1. Please make payment through the online application portal. Click on “Status of my application” and then scroll
down to the button “To Payment (ePayment)” in order to pay the student union fee (72 Euros) and the
semester ticket (90 Euros) amounting to 162 Euros.

Note: It may take up to one week for the money transfer to be received.

2. Please note that confirmation of your enrolment with a health insurance company will only be transmitted
digitally (as a data record) to the Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule Amberg-Weiden. Paper documents
are no longer required.
- If you have statutory insurance: please inform your health insurance company that you are going to enrol at
OTH Amberg-Weiden. The insurance company will send us confirmation.
- If you have private insurance: please contact any statutory health insurance company in Germany and ask
them to send us confirmation that you are privately insured.
 - If you are exempt from statutory insurance: please contact any statutory health insurance company and ask
them to send us a confirmation that you are exempt from statutory health insurance.

3. Please log in to your PRIMUSS application portal at www.primuss.de/status-fhaw

Select “ Bewerbungsfortschritt” (German) or “application progress” (English) and perform the following
steps:
➢ Upload a photograph in JPG format for your student ID card

4. Make sure that you have uploaded all the requested documents before the given deadlines and that
they have not been rejected. The university reserves the right to request the presentation of original
identification documents on a random basis. This also applies to students who change their degree

Steps 1-3 have to be completed within the period prescribed. lf the steps are not performed correctly and by the
given deadlines, enrolment at the university cannot take place.
Having completed these steps, you are then a registered student at the OTH Amberg-Weiden as of 01.10.2023.

Once your payment has been transferred to our account and once the requirements for enrolment have been met,
you will be enrolled at our institution by the Student’s/Study Office (German: Studienbüro). Upon your enrolment,
you will receive your login data for important services and tools such as the PRIMUSS student portal, the Moodle
e-learning platform, your student webmail account, the OTH-AW app, etc. You can find the login data on the
PRIMUSS application portal in the area “Benutzerdaten” (German) or “Account information” (English). There you will also
find a direct link to the PRIMUSS student portal, where you can download forms such as your certificate of enrolment.
All important tools and services will be explained to you on your welcome day and can also be found online on our
homepage in the “MyOTH” area on the black bar at the top of our homepage.

After your enrolment we will issue your student ID card, which will be sent to you by post prior to the start of your
studies. Please make sure that you have provided your correct address in Germany. If you only provided an address
in your home country, we will keep your student ID card and you can pick it up as soon as you come to Germany.
Please make sure that you look for accommodation in advance! We cannot guarantee you a definite place in our
student dorm! You can apply for a room here: https://www.studentenwerk-
oberfranken.de/wohnen/wohnheime/weiden.html.
If there are no free rooms, please have a look at privately owned apartments. For this reason, we strongly recommend
that you have A2 level knowledge of German before arrival.

admission (Zulassungsbescheid) in a safe place in case you need it for submission to the authorities.
Duplicate copies will not be issued.
