German Regular verbs and grammar: The regular verbs in German change their forms according to the subject.

Let us take the verb trinken which means drink. The verb will take the forms as below: Ich trinke Sie trinken sie (they) trinken Du trinkst Er/sie (she)/es trinkt In case of Ich the verb will be used as above if it comes immediately after the subject. e-g Ich trinke Saft (I drink juice). Had it been I want to drink juice then it would had been Ich mchte Saft trinken. Here mchten was the first verb meaning want to, but since it was used with Ich so it became mchte and trinken remained as it was (It is also known as verb conjugation). The same applies to Du. Counting in German: One = ein Two = zwei Three = drei Four = vier Five = fnf Six = sechs Seven = Sieben Eight = Acht Nine = Neun Ten = Zehn Eleven = Elf
