Externally the black corrugated fibre cement sheets are
presented in a highly modern way through a very fo-
cussed use of lighting. The entire building is surroun-
ded by a wooden floor, reminiscent of a ship‘s deck. In
the interior the grey corrugated fibre cement sheets are
restrained and engage in a colour symbiosis with the
slightly grey wooden floor boards. At the same time
this allows the steel construction of the old hall to make
its full impact.

métallique de l’ancienne halle est ainsi très bien mise
en valeur.

As the external appearance suggests, the floor plan of the hall was based on a slightly
modified rectangle, onto which all the different ancillary uses and servant spaces
are docked. At a few carefully chosen places in the building views are offered of the
setting and of the surrounding mountains.
