Material: 50 g Schachenmayr Catania, 1 Häkelnadel 3,5 mm, für eine kontrastierende Umrandung
noch ein Rest Catania in einer anderen Farbe.

Abkürzungen:
LM = Luftmasche FM = feste Masche R = Reihe
KM = Kettmasche Stb = Stäbchen

Gittermuster: 1 LM, 1 Stb, dazwischen wird jeweils eine Masche der unteren Reihe übergangen
Netzmuster: 3 LM, 1FM, die FM wird in die mittlere LM der unteren LM-Kette gehäkelt

Genickstück:
Anschlag: 70 LM
R 1: 66 Stb (für das erste Stb wird in die viertletzte LM der Luftmaschenkette eingestochen)
weiter im Gittermuster
R 2 – 6: 3 LM, (LM Stb) 33x
R 7: 3 LM, 20 Stb, (LM Stb) 13x, 20 Stb (rund um den Ohrenausschnitt wird das Gittermuster durch
Stb ersetzt, das erleichtert das Festnähen der Stoffohren).

Jetzt zum Ohrenteil:

R 8: 20 KM, 3 LM, 2 Stb, (LM Stb) 11x, 2 Stb
R 9 – 12: 3 LM, 2 Stb, (LM Stb) 11x, 2 Stb,
Am Ende von Reihe 12 mit KM am Rand von Ohrenteil und Genickstück entlang häkeln bis das äußere
Eck des Genickstücks erreicht ist.

R 21: 2 KM (am letzten Bogen der unteren Reihe entlang bis zur mittleren LM des Bogens), (3 LM 1

Die Abnahmen im gleichen Schema wiederholen bis nur noch 3 Bögen übrig sind. Faden abschneiden
und vernähen. Die unteren Ränder von Stirnteil und Stirnlatz mit 2 bis 3 R FM einfassen. Dies sieht
auch sehr hübsch in einer Kontrastfarbe aus. Dieser Rand kann noch weiter mit Strass Steinen oder
einer hübschen Kordel verziert werden. Fäden vernähen.

Aus farblich passendem Stoff im Stoffbruch parallel zum Fadenlauf, nach dem Schnittmuster zwei
Ohren ausschneiden. Am besten eignen sich dazu Jersey-Stoffe z. B. aus farblich passenden
ausgemusterten T-Shirts. Der elastische Stoff passt sich am besten den Ohren an ohne einzuengen.
Die Ohren rechts auf rechts an der äußeren Kante mit einem Overlockstich zusammennähen,
alternativ mit Geradstich zusammen nähen und anschließend mit Zickzackstich versäubern. Die
Ohren auf rechts, das Mützchen auf links drehen und die Ohren von unten, die untere Kante voran,
im Ohrenausschnitt feststecken. Die Außenkante der Ohren (dort wo sie zusammen genäht sind)
muss dabei genau in der Spitze des Dreiecks die aus Genickteil und Stirnteil gebildet wird liegen. Mit
Zickzackstich annähen, das Mützchen auf rechts drehen.
Wer mag kann noch eine fingergehäkelte Kordel zum Festbinden anbringen. Für den Halt ist das in
der Regel nicht nötig. Durch das breite Genickstück halten die Mützchen gut unter dem Zaumzeug.
