Collectors´ club.
The Ny Form trolls have
been available since 1965,
and in the course of the past
few years they have acquired
a steadily growing following.
More and more people
discover the delight of
owning one or more Ny
Form trolls. Every day we
receive many letters from
collectors all over the world
inquiring about the world of
the trolls, and we hope that
our Troll Club will give the
growing numbers of
collectors the information
they seek.
Brødrene Flaarønning AS is
a 128-year-old family firm,
and for the past 16 years we
have been marketing and
selling the Ny Form trolls all
over the world.
The Ny Form troll story
began at Tynset in the wint-
er of 1964 when the artist
Trygve Torgersen made the
first troll. Since then the
trolls have multiplied and
new figures and characters
have been added to the
range. Today the models are
sculpted by Bjørn Schulze,
Torgersen's grandson.
The trolls are very special.
For us who make them, too,
they acquire a meaning and
a value far above that of
mere figurines. They are easy
to love, which seems to be
what happens everywhere;
more and more people fall in
love with the trolls.
The Troll Club will not only
enable us to inform you
about what is happening in
the world of the Ny Form
trolls - it will also be a place
for fellow collectors to meet
and exchange information
and ideas. Furthermore, a
meeting-place for the keen-
est collectors will shortly be
established on the Internet.
In order to meet our
objectives we need your
help, collectors and troll lov-
ers. Please send any
comments, suggestions or
ideas to us so that we can
keep on expanding the world
of the Ny Form trolls.

Herzlich willkommen im »Ny Form«
-Klub der Trollsammler!
Die Trolle der Firma »Ny form« gibt es seit 1965, und besonders in den letzten Jahren
finden sie eine ständig größere Schar Anhänger. Immer mehr Menschen freuen sich über
einen oder mehrere »Ny form«-Trolle. Täglich erhalten wir viele Briefe von Sammlern
aus aller Welt, die mehr über die Welt der Trolle wissen wollen. Wir hoffen, daß wir mit
Hilfe des Trollklubs die Nachfragen befriedigen bzw. die gewünschten Informationen der
wachsenden Sammlerschar vermitteln können.
Die Firma »Brödrene Flaarönning AS« ist ein 128 Jahre altes
Familienunternehmen, daß in den letzten sechzehn Jahren die »Ny form«-Trolle
weltweit vermarktet hat.
Die Geschichte der »Ny form«-Trolle beginnt im Winter 1964 in Tynset, als der
Künstler Trygve Torgersen den ersten Troll herstellte. Seit damals steigt die Anzahl pro-
duzierter Trolle ständig, werden kontinuierlich neue Figuren und Typen in das
Sortiment aufgenommen. Heute werden die Modelle von dem
Sohn Torgersens modelliert, von Björn Schulze. Trolle sind schon etwas Spezielles.
Auch für uns, die Leute, die sie herstellen, haben sie eine Bedeutung und einen Wert,
der über das rein Äußere hinausreicht. Man muß sie einfach mögen, und dies scheint in
aller Welt der Fall zu sein; mehr und mehr Menschen verlieben sich in den Troll.
Der Trollklub gibt Ihnen die Möglichkeit, sich über alles zu informieren, was in der Welt
der »Ny form«-Trolle vor sich geht. Er soll aber auch Sammlern die Möglichkeit bieten,
selbst Informationen und Ideen auszutauschen. Die eifrigsten Sammler können dem-
nächst im Internett diskutieren.
Um unsere Ziele zu erreichen, benötigen wir Ihre Hilfe, liebe Sammler und Troll-
Liebhaber. Bitte senden Sie uns jeden Kommentar, jede Beschwerde und Idee, mit deren
Hilfe wir die Welt der »Ny form«-Trolle größer und weiter machen können.

Sur le marché depuis 1965, les trolls Ny Form acquièrent constamment de nouveaux
amateurs. De plus en plus de gens découvrent la joie de posséder un ou plusieurs trolls Ny
Form. Chaque jour, nous recevons de nombreuses lettres de collectionneurs du monde
entier qui désirent des informations sur le monde des trolls, et nous espérons que le club
des trolls pourra donner aux amateurs les renseignements qui leur manquent.

mouvoir et vendre les trolls Ny Form dans le monde entier.
L'histoire de ces trolls commença à Tynset dans l'hiver de 1964 lorsque l'artiste Trygve
Torgersen créa le premier troll. Depuis, les trolls sont devenus de plus en plus nombreux
et de nouveaux personnages se sont ajoutés à l'éventail des modèles. Aujourd'hui c'est
Bjørn Schulze, petit-fils de Torgersen, qui sculpte les modèles. Les trolls sont très
spéciaux: pour nous aussi, qui les fabriquons, ils acquièrent un sens et une valeur qui
excède de loin celle des simples figurines. On s'y attache facilement, et c'est ce qui
semble se passer un peu partout dans le monde: de plus en plus de gens tombent amour-
eux des trolls.
Le club des trolls nous permettra de publier des informations sur ce qui se passe dans le
monde des trolls Ny Form, mais ce sera aussi un moyen pour les collectionneurs
d'échanger des nouvelles et des idées. Dans pas longtemps nous avons l'intention de cré-
er un lieu de rendez-vous sur l'Internet pour les plus enthousiastes.
Pour réussir dans cette entreprise, nous avons besoin de votre aide, collectionneurs et
amateurs de trolls. Nous vous serions reconnaissants de nous envoyer des commentaires,
plaintes ou idées pour que nous puissions continuer à étendre l'univers des trolls Ny

uno o più Ny form Troll. Arrivano ogni giorno molte lettere da collezionisti di tutto il
mondo, i quali domandano più informazione sul mondo dei troll, e speriamo che il Club
dei troll fornisca la schiera dei collezionisti dell'informazione desiderata.

abbiamo venduto i Ny form Troll in tutto il mondo.
La storia dei Ny form Troll iniziò a Tynset nell'inverno del 1964, quando l'artista Trygve
Torgersen fece il primo troll. Poi sono nati nuovi troll, con personalità varie. Oggi i mod-
elli sono scolpiti da Bjørn Schulze, nipote di Torgersen. I troll sono molto particolari.

collezionisti più appassionati.

Ny form
Da qualche parte della Norvegia centrale trovi il
piccolo paese di montagna Tynset. È situato ai piedi
della montagna Tronfjell alta 1666 metri, dalla parte
settentrionale della lunga e stretta valle di
Østerdalen. Qui si può respirare l'aria pulita della

Weit im hohen Norden, wo
Winterstürme die wetterharte
Meeresküste peitschen, liegt
ein langgezogenes, schmales
Land. Dort gibt es dunkle
Wälder mit mondbeschien-
enen Seen, von mächtigen,
schneebedeckten Bergen
umgebene tiefe Fjorde, endl-
ose Flüsse und kalte
Sturzbäche, die sich an den
Berghängen über her-
vorspringende Felsen ergieß-
en.
Heutzutage ist dieses Land
nur noch sechs Monate lang
von Eis und Schnee bedeckt.
Aber vor langer, langer Zeit
zog sich ein riesiger Gletscher
über das ganze Land — viele
tausend Jahre lang.
Als sich das Klima all-
mählich erwärmte und der
Gletscher sich immer weiter
nach Norden zurückzog,
folgten ihm die Menschen,
die sich südlich des
Gletschers angesiedelt hatt-
en, nach. Sie sahen sich um
und fanden eine zauberhafte
Landschaft vor, wo sie sich
niederließen und sich
schließlich als die
Erstbewohner dieses Landes
betrachteten, das sie
Norwegen tauften. Sie selbst
wurden “Normannen”
(Männer des Nordens)
genannt.
Es dauerte jedoch nicht
lange, bis sie feststellen mußt-
en, daß dieses Land ver-
schiedene andere Kreaturen
beherbergte, die sich in den
Wäldern und Bergen
versteckten. Die Menschen
wußten nicht, wer diese
Kreaturen waren, es wurden
ihnen jedoch übernatürliche
Kräfte zugeschrieben, und
schließlich gab man ihnen
den Namen “Trolle”.
Erst nach
Sonnenuntergang wagten
sich die Trolle aus ihren
Verstecken, und sie ver-
schwanden wieder, noch
bevor die Morgensonne im
Osten aufging. Es hieß, daß
sie durch einen direkten
Kontakt mit der Sonne Risse
bekommen, zu Stein
verwandelt oder sogar bersten
würden. Gelegentlich vergaß-
en die Trolle, sich rechtzeitig
vor der Sonne zu verstecken.
Daher können noch heute an
verschiedenen Stellen
Steingebilde mit trollähn-
lichen Zügen gefunden werd-
en.
Die Trolle wurden meist-
ens in klaren, mondhellen
Nächten gesehen oder aber
in stürmischen Nächten, die
jeder Menschenseele, die sich
zufällig im Freien befand,
Furcht einjagen konnten.
Die Trolle hatten sehr
deutlich ausgeprägte
Merkmale, wie etwa lange,
krumme Nasen, nur jeweils
vier Finger und Zehen an
Händen und Füßen, und die
meisten hatten lange,
buschige Schwänze.
Einige Trolle waren
Riesengestalten, andere
wiederum waren von kleinem
Wuchs. Man hörte auch
Geschichten von zweiköpfig-
en und sogar dreiköpfigen
Trollen. Manche hatten
sogar nur ein Auge mitten auf
ihrer runzeligen Stirn.
Andere wiederum waren auf
ihren Köpfen und Nasen mit
baumartigen Wucherungen
und moosähnlichen Gebilden
bewachsen.
Obgleich sie zottiges,
rauhes Haar hatten und die
meisten Trolle
furchterregend aussahen, war-
en sie doch als gutmütig und
einfältig bekannt, und zwar so
sehr, daß sie gelegentlich sel-
bst von schlauen
Bauernjungen leicht
übertölpelt werden konnten.
Geschichten über solche
Begebenheiten kommen in
den Märchen häufig vor.
Die meisten Trolle wurd-
en mehrere hundert Jahre alt.
Aufgrund ihrer extrem scheu-
en Natur ist jedoch ihr wahr-
er Ursprung, ihr Lebensstil
und was sie sonst noch an
überraschungen auf Lager
hatten, immer ein Geheimnis

geblieben.
Die Fähigkeit, sich
verwandeln zu können,
wurde als eine der vielen
übernatürlichen Kräfte der
Trolle angesehen. Die
Weibchen, auch “Hulder”
genannt, konnten sich in
unglaublich anziehende junge
Mädchen verwandeln.
Allerdings konnten sie ihre
Schwänze nicht loswerden.
Daher sahen Jäger und
Bauernsöhne, die von diesen
Feengeschichten in die Berge
gezogen wurden, bei ihren
neu gefundenen Liebchen
gewöhnlich sofort nach, ob
sie einen Schwanz hatten.
Wenn Trolle erzürnt war-
en, kannte dieser Zorn keine
Grenzen. Daher war es sehr
wichtig, sie sich nicht zu
Feinden zu machen. Wenn
ein Bauer einen Troll heraus-
forderte, konnte es vorkomm-
en, daß sein Vieh krank
wurde oder noch schlimmere
Sachen passierten.
Andererseits konnte sich
jedoch ein gutes Verhältnis
mit den Trollen als sehr
lohnend erweisen.
Selbst heutzutage ist es
ratsam, bei den Trollen in
gutem Licht zu stehen, denn
man weiß ja nie, wann man
einem Troll begegnet. Wenn
Sie sich das nächste Mal in
die tiefen Wälder und zu den
mächtigen Bergen mit ihren
unergründlichen Seen und
reißenden Wasserfällen bege-
ben, denken Sie daran, daß
sie wahrscheinlich harmlos
sind. Aber sehen Sie sich vor.
Wenn die Dämmerung
hereinbricht, sind Sie nicht
mehr allein.
Dann gibt es nur noch

Dans le grand nord, là où les
tempêtes d’hiver attaquent la
côte érodée par le mauvais
temps, il existe une contrée
longue et étroite. Vous y
trouvez des forêts sombres
aux lacs reflétant la lune, des
fjords profonds entourés par
de hautes montagnes aux
sommets enneigés, et de longs
fleuves et des ruisseaux froids
dévalant la pente des
montagnes.
Aujourd’hui ce pays est
couvert de neige et de glace
pendant six mois de l’année
seulement. Cependant, il y a
très, très longtemps, il y avait
un énorme glacier qui avait
recouvert tout le pays
pendant plusieurs millénaires.
A mesure que le climat se
réchauffa graduellement et
que le glacier remonta peu à
peu vers le nord, les hommes
au sud du glacier suivirent sa
retraite. Explorant ce pays et
le trouvant magnifique, ils
pensèrent être ses premiers
habitants. Les gens
s’établirent là et appelèrent
ce pays la Norvège. Eux-
mêmes étaient appelés les
«nordmenn» (gens du nord).
Cependant, il ne leur
fallut pas beaucoup de temps
pour se rendre compte qu’il
existait dans ce pays d’autres
créatures qui se cachaient
dans les forêts et sur les flancs
des montagnes. Les gens ne
savaient pas quelles étaient
ces créatures, mais on pensait
en général qu’elles avaient
des pouvoirs surnaturels, et
elles furent appelées trolls.
Les trolls sortaient de leurs
cachettes seulement après le
coucher du soleil, et ils dis-
paraissaient avant que le
soleil du matin ne se lève à
l’est. L’exposition directe au
soleil pouvait les fissurer, les
changer en pierre, et même
les faire éclater. De temps en
temps, les trolls oubliaient
évidemment de se cacher du
soleil, et on peut aujourd’hui
rencontrer en divers endroits
des formations rocheuses qui
ressemblent étrangement à
des trolls.
On pouvait surtout voir
les trolls pendant les nuits de
clair de lune, ou pendant les
nuits de tempête semer la
panique parmi ceux qui se
trouvaient dehors.
Les trolls avaient des traits
qui leur étaient bien
particuliers. Ils avaient des
nez longs et crochus, seule-
ment quatre doigts aux mains
et aux pieds, et la plupart
d’entre eux avaient une
queue longue et touffue.
Certains trolls étaient des
géants tandis que d’autres
étaient petits. Certains récits
parlaient de trolls à deux têt-
es et même à trois têtes; il y
en avait même qui n’avaient
qu’un oeil au milieu d’un
front tout ridé. D’autres avai-
ent la tête et le nez entière-
ment recouverts d’arbustes et
de végétation en forme de
mousse.
Malgré leur pelage touffu
et l’air effrayant de la plupart,
ils avaient la réputation
d’avoir bon caractère et d’être
naïfs. Si naïfs en fait que
même des garçons de ferme
malins pouvaient, de temps à
autre, leur jouer des tours. Les
récits de ces rencontres sont
fréquents dans les contes de
fée.
La majorité des trolls
vivaient pendant des siècles.
Cependant, à cause du
caractère très timide des
trolls, leur origine et leur
mode de vie, les surprises
qu’ils pouvaient causer sont
toujours restées mystérieuses.
Leur faculté de changer de
forme était l’une des nom-
breuses aptitudes surnaturell-
es des trolls. Les dames fées -
appelées «Hulder» - pouvai-
ent se transformer en jeunes
femmes d’une beauté
extrême. Cependant, elles ne
pouvaient pas se débarrasser
de leur queue et les chasseurs
et les garçons de ferme, qui
étaient attirés dans les
montagnes par ces fées, véri-
fiaient en général que les bell-
es filles qu’ils rencontraient
n’en avaient pas.
La colère des trolls pouvait
être sans limites. Par consé-
quent, on considérait comme
très important de ne pas s’en
faire des ennemis. Si un
paysan provoquait un troll, il
risquait de voir son bétail
tomber malade ou d’être
victime de choses bien plus
graves encore. D’un autre
côté, il pouvait être très pro-
fitable de bien s’entendre
avec les trolls.
Même encore aujourd’hui,
il est important d’avoir de
bons rapports avec les trolls,
car on ne sait jamais à
l’avance quand on va en
rencontrer un. La prochaine
fois que vous irez dans les
forêts sombres et les hautes
montagnes, avec leurs lacs
profonds et leurs chutes d’eau
grondantes, rappelez-vous
simplement qu’ils ne cher-
cheront probablement pas à
vous faire du mal. Mais faites
attention. Au crépuscule,
vous ne serez plus vraiment
seul. Vous serez seul... avec
les trolls.

creature, ma in genere attri-
buivano loro poteri sopranna-
turali, ed esse divennero note
con il nome di troll.
I troll uscivano dai loro
nascondigli solo dopo il tra-
monto e scomparivano al
mattino prima che sorgesse il
sole a est. L’esposizione
diretta ai raggi solari li spac-
cava, li cambiava in pietra e
poteva persino farli scoppiare.
Qualche volta i troll si
dimenticavano di nascondersi
dal sole e ancora oggi si tro-
vano in vari luoghi
formazioni rocciose
dall’aspetto di troll.
Si potevano vedere i troll
nelle notti illuminate dal
chiaro di luna, o in quelle
tempestose che avrebbero
atterrito chiunque si fosse
trovato all’aperto in quel
momento.
I troll avevano un aspetto
caratteristico. Avevano
lunghi nasi ricurvi, solo quat-
tro dita in ogni mano e in
ogni piede, e la maggior parte
di loro aveva una lunga coda
dal folto pelo.
Alcuni troll erano
giganteschi mentre altri
erano piccoli. Si
raccontavano storie di troll
con due e persino con tre
teste e alcuni avevano addi-
rittura un solo occhio nel
mezzo della fronte grinzosa.
Sul naso o sulla testa di altri
crescevano alberi o muschio.
Sebbene fossero pelosi con
il pelo lungo e ruvido e molti
avessero un aspetto che
incuteva terrore, si
raccontava anche che fossero
di indole buona e ingenui.

bone. Nelle favole sono
comuni le storie di tali incon-
tri con i troll.
La maggior parte dei troll
vivevano per centinaia di
anni. Tuttavia, dato che i
troll erano di natura estrema-
mente timida, la loro vera
origine, il loro modo di viv-
ere, o quali tiri o sorprese ci si
potessero aspettare da loro

Einer der besten norwegischen Trollexperten ist
die Französin Virginie Amelien vom Institut für
kulturelle Studien an der Universität Oslo. 1994
promovierte sie an der Sorbonne mit einer
Abhandlung über Trolle in den norwegischen
Volksmärchen. Teile dieser Abhandlung gab der
französische Verlag Berg International unter
dem Titel »Le troll et les autres créatures surna-
turelles«* heraus. Wir treffen sie, als sie gerade
von einem norwegischen Seminar im Soria
Moria-Hotel (Wo auch sonst?) kommt, unter-
wegs mit dem zukünftigen Familienmitglied im
siebten Monat. Jetzt arbeitet sie mit einem inter-
nordischen Forschungsprojekt betreffs über-
natürliche Wesen im Norden bzw. wie der
Glaube sich an diese veränderte und - last not
least - welche Auswirkungen dieser Glaube hat-
te. Ihr Interesse für Trolle und Zwerge konzentri-
ert sich also vor allem auf die Bedeutung, die
solchen übernatürlichen Wesen in der
Gesellschaft und Kultur beigemessen wurde.
*»Troll und andere übernatürliche Wesen«
Wenn Sie als Experte diese Wesen jemanden
beschreiben müßten, der überhaupt keine
Vorstellung davon hat, was würden Sie sagen:
Was ist ein Troll?
Es dreht sich um ein speziell nordisches, über-
natürliches Wesen, das mit der Natur verbunden
ist. Es ist groß, stark und häßlich. In den skandi-
navischen Ländern unterscheiden sie sich von
Land zu Land, existieren z.B. nicht in Finnland
und kaum in Dänemark. Entstanden sind die
Trolle in Märchen und Sagen. Aber die Trolle
verändern sich ständig. Seit den dreißiger Jahren
wurden besonders durch die Kinderbuchliteratur
neue Trolle geschaffen und neue Auffassungen
von Trollen. Diese Entwicklung kann auf die
Illustrationen von Kittelsen zurückgeführt wer-
den.
Man könnte also fast sagen, daß die Trolle erst
im 19. und 20.Jahrhundert existieren?
Wie man sie heute kennt, der Troll als über-
natürliche Märchenfigur, ja. Man erzählt die
Geschichten, wie man sie aus anderen Ländern
kennt, mit dem Teufel, feuerspeienden Drachen
oder menschenfresserischen Ungeheuern. In
Norwegen übernehmen dann ein oder mehrere
Trolle diese Rollen.
Moment mal, Trolle haben doch einen
Schwanz!
Erst nach 1884. Da erschien Kittelsens erste
Troll-Illustration, in denen Trolle Schwänze
haben. Erst danach lassen die offensichtlich von
Kittelsen inspirierten Märchenerzähler ihren
Trollen Schwänze wachsen. Auf diese Weise
spiegelt das Aussehen des Trolls auch das
Zusammenspiel von volkstümlicher
Erzählerkunst und literarischer Kultur wieder.
Man kann also wirklich von Trollen vor
Kittelsen und nach Kittelsen sprechen?
Vor Kittelsen und nach Kittelsen, naja! Aber
gut, wenn es um die Trolle geht, spielt Kittelsen
ja eine extrem wichtige Rolle. Er schuf das Bild,
das wir heute von den Trollen haben. Hingegen
zeichnete Eckersberg, der erste Troll-
Illustrator in Norwegen, seine Trolle mit den
typischen Gesichtszügen des Teufels. Auch
waren sie, wie die »Wilden«, nur mit Laub bek-
leidet - und ohne Schwanz! Nun muß man
sagen, daß die Vorstellung von einem Troll mit
Schwanz eigentlich auf der Hand lag. Auch
andere übernatürliche Wesen besitzen ja - wie
allseits bekannt - einen Schwanz. Man versteht
also leicht, warum Kittelsens Trolle ebenfalls
einen Schwanz bekamen. Was das Aussehen
angeht... Man soll doch den Troll gar nicht zu
Gesicht
bekommen. Sie sind nur einfach da, im Wald
und in der Nacht.
Sie sprachen von dem veränderten Aussehen der
Trolle. Wie äußert sich so etwas? Es gibt
Veränderungen, z.B. gibt es nun niedliche Trolle
oder den Troll als Umweltschützer. Sie finden
Postkarten mit kleinen Trollkindern, die den
Elch

neue Rolle, die es in den Märchen nicht gibt.
Der Troll verwandelt sich von einem
Kulturfeind zu einem Beschützer der Natur?
Wie war der Troll nun wirklich, warum entstand
diese Figur eigentlich in alten Zeiten? Troll
bedeutet Schicksal, Troll bedeutet Tod. Mit
Hilfe der Trollfigur hielt man Züge einer alten
und speziellen Kultur lebendig, zu der sich die
Norweger auf Grund der Christianisierung nicht
länger verhalten durften. Das, was Trolle
eigentlich bedeuten, findet sich nirgendwo bess-
er illustriert, als in Kittelsens Zeichnung zu dem
Märchen »Smörbukk«.* Hier herrscht die Natur
mit Wald, Gebirge und Wasser, wie immer in
Verbindung mit Trollen. Mitten in dieser
Landschaft liegt dann der kleine Bauernhof, die
vom Menschen geschaffene Kultur. Auf dem
Weg, über die Brücke kommen die großen,
starken und häßlichen Trolle, mit dem Kopf
unter dem Arm und dem Sack auf dem
Rücken,alles Kennzeichen alter Vorstellungen
vom Tod. Und beachten Sie auch den kleinen
Hofhund, der vor dem Tod warnt.

Mittelalter« die Eigenschaften gesammelt,
welche Tote durchgängig zugeschrieben werden.
Es ist erschreckend zu beobachten, wieviele
dieser speziellen Kennzeichen wir bei Geistern
und Trollen finden. Gleichzeitig ist der Troll ja
eine drohende Vaterfigur.
Ich spiele mal den »Advocatus Diaboli«, den
Anwalt des Teufels oder vielleicht besser des
Trolls: Sind all diese Veränderungen nicht nur
ein Beispiel dafür, daß die Erzähler ständig
Neues erfinden?
In den alten Zeiten besaßen die Erzählungen
feste Strukturen. Man veränderte Namen und
Beschreibungen, behielt aber die Strukturen bei.
Nun muß man ja sagen, daß Tradition auch
Veränderung bedeutet, und gerade der Troll wird
extrem widersprüchlich benutzt, nämlich von
allen, für alle mögliche Zwecke. Es gibt viele
Menschen, die über den norwegischen Troll
schreiben, den sie jedoch besser »meinen Troll«
nennen sollten, weil er nicht besonders viel mit
den Trollen der Märchen zu tun hat. Aber gle-
ichzeitig ist es für mich als Wissenschaftlerin
interessant zu sehen, wie man den Troll als
Symbol benutzt. Er kann Natur, Kinder, Stärke,
Norwegen bedeuten...und eine Mischung aus all
diesem.
Troll ist also ein weitaus mehr umfassendere
Bezeichnung als man glaubt?
Leider ja. Als ich aus Frankreich hierher kam,
dachte ich, ein Troll ist ein Troll. Aber wir wis-
sen, daß der Troll eine kulturelle Konstruktion
ist, eine Fantasie, die sich in ihren Strukturen
durch tausend Jahre hindurch erhalten hat. In
diesem Falle kann man wirklich von einer
tiefen, kulturellen Verankerung sprechen. Aber
wir haben ja dieses Problem mit den fehlenden
schriftlichen Quellen zwischen altnordischer
Zeit und der Nationalromantik, was bewirkt, daß
wir einen Zusammenhang zwischen damals und
heute postulieren.
Wie reagieren die Leute, wenn Sie erzählen, daß
Sie sich mit Trollen beschäftigen?
Das kommt darauf an, wie ich mich präsentiere.
Wenn ich sage, daß ich mich mit Trollen
beschäftige, dann lächelt man und versucht mir
alles zu erzählen, was man über Trolle weiß oder
zu wissen meint. Speziell früher, als ich noch
nicht gut Norwegisch konnte, kam man oft und
erzählte mir von den grundlegenden Dingen,
selbst als ich mich schon ein paar Jahre mit
Trollen beschäftigt hatte. Als ich mit der
Doktorarbeit fertig wurde, lächelten die Leute
nicht mehr, weil »es sich ja wohl um etwas
Seriöses handelt«. Als mein fünfjähriger Junge
das fertige Buch mit der schönen Zeichnung
eines Trolls auf dem Umschlag sah, wurde er
neugierig. Als er dann das Buch öffnete, war er
enttäuscht, weil da »nur Buchstaben« waren.
Aber die sind eben seriös. Es gibt allerdings viele
Gründe, die grundlegenden Vorstellungen in der
Idee vom Troll als Züge oder Bestandteil einer
norwegischen Kultur ernstzunehmen.
Womit beschäftigen Sie sich zur Zeit?
Den Trollglauben in Zusammenhang mit der
Entwicklung der Gesellschaft zu studieren, als
Prozeß zu sehen. Wir sind ja durch unser
Programm verpflichtet, Trolle aus einem
anderen Gesichtswinkel zu betrachten als etwa
die Troll- Industrie, die Kapital aus der Kultur
schlägt. Wir entmystifizieren und erklären,
während die Industrie spekulative Neugierde für
ein Phänomen wecken will und dieses
Phänomen dann als Gegenstand an die
Touristen verkauft. Eigentlich ist über Trolle zu
forschen nichts Besonderes, eigentlich ist es wie
jedes andere Forschungsfeld.

Was halten Sie von Trollen?
Das hat mich wahrhaftig noch nie jemand
gefragt. Ich mag sie. Sie sind vertrauliche
Wesen. Wir haben viel gemeinsam, und wir
haben sieben Jahre zusammengearbeitet. Die
Trolle sind Figuren mit vielen Seiten, nie ist
einer wie der andere. Also ist es immer wieder
spannend, sie zu treffen.
Interview avec Virginie Amelien,

Une des plus grandes expertes en trolls en
Norvège est française. C'est Virginie Amelien, à
l'Institut des Etudes Culturelles de l'Université
d'Oslo. En 1994, elle a passé son doctorat à la
Sorbonne. Son sujet: les trolls dans les contes
populaires norvégiens. Des extraits de sa thèse
ont été publiés par la maison d'édition française
Berg International, dans un livre de 284 pages
intitulé "Le troll et les autres créatures surnatur-
elles". Lorsque nous la rencontrons, elle sort d'un
séminaire organisé par les pays nordiques sur les
trolls dans leurs pays. Il va sans dire que ce
séminaire a eu lieu à l'hôtel Soria Moria, dont le
nom vient d'un conte célèbre. Elle est enceinte
de sept mois, et n'a que peu de temps à nous
consacrer. En ce moment, elle travaille sur un
projet nordique sur les créatures surnaturelles
dans les pays nordiques, comment la foi en eux
change et surtout comment elle fonctionne. Car
son intérêt pour les trolls et les lutins est motivé
par son désir de comprendre l'importance des
créatures surnaturelles pour la société et dans la
culture.
-Vous qui êtes une spécialiste des trolls - comm-
ent les décririez-vous pour quelqu'un qui ne les
connaîtrait pas du tout; qu'est-ce qu'un troll?
- C'est un être surnaturel spécifiquement nordi-
que, lié à la nature. Il est grand, laid et fort. Il y
en a dans les pays nordiques, mais même là ils
sont différents d'un pays à l'autre. Vous n'en
trouverez pas en Finlande, et presque pas au
Danemark. Mais le troll change constamment.
Au cours des dernières cinquante années il s'est
transformé plus que dans les mille années
précédentes. Depuis les années trente, c'est
surtout la littérature des enfants qui a créé de
nouveaux rôles pour les trolls et changé notre
façon de les concevoir. Ce développement a été
inspiré par les trolls que nous trouvons dans les
illustrations de Kittelsen.
- Cela veut-il dire que seuls les
19e et 20e siècles sont les siècles du troll?
- Si on considère le troll comme le personnage
surnaturel des contes populaires tel qu'on le voit
généralement, oui. Beaucoup de contes sont
connus d'autres pays, dans lesquels le monstre
n'est pas un troll, mais le diable, des dragons
crachant le feu ou des ogres mangeurs de chair
humaine. En Norvège, c'est un troll qui détient
ces rôles.
- Mais les trolls ont une queue, non?
- Seulement depuis 1884. C'est alors que
Kittelsen publie ses premières illustrations de
trolls, où les trolls avaient une queue. Ce n'est
qu'après cette date que les conteurs parlent de
trolls à queue, inspirés par les dessins de
Kittelsen. Le troll a donc été le résultat de
l'interaction entre la culture populaire et
l'utilisation de celle-ci par la culture des élites.
- Nous pouvons ainsi parler d'un calendrier
"avant K" et "après K" pour les trolls?
- Avant et après Kittelsen, oui, en ce qui
concerne les trolls, puisqu'il a été d'une très
grande importance pour notre façon de conce-
voir les trolls. Eckersberg, le premier illustrateur
de trolls en Norvège, leur donne des visages aux
traits diaboliques. Les trolls sont vêtus de feuilles
comme des "sauvages" - et ils n'ont pas de queue.
Il est vrai que l'idée d'un troll pourvu d'une
queue n'était pas loin. Nous savons que d'autres
êtres surnaturels ont une queue, de sorte qu'on
comprend aisément que les trolls de Kittelsen en
aient reçu une aussi.
Quant à leur aspect physique,… N'oublions pas
que nous ne sommes pas censés voir les trolls. Ils
sont là, dans la forêt, dans la nuit, c'est tout.
- Vous avez mentionné les transformations que
le troll a subies. Pouvez-vous en donner quelques
exemples?
- Le troll a été transformé en un être mignon, le
troll est devenu un militant écologique. Il y a des
cartes postales montrant de gentils petits enfants
de trolls qui protègent les élans contre les chass-
eurs. Voilà un rôle qu'ils n'ont jamais eu dans les
contes.
- C'est-à-dire que le troll n'est plus celui qui atta-
que la culture, mais un protecteur de la nature?
Comment a été le troll à l'origine, au point de
départ?
- Le troll représente la destinée, le troll
représente la mort. Les trolls ont permis la survie
d'anciens traits culturels interdits par la nouvelle
religion.
Rien ne montre mieux la vraie signification du
troll que l'illustration que Kittelsen a faite pour
le conte "Smørbukk". On y voit la nature avec sa
forêt, sa montagne et son lac, comme toujours
dans les histoires de trolls. Dans ce paysage se
trouve la petite ferme, qui représente la culture
créée par les hommes. Puis on voit le grand troll,
laid et fort, qui traverse le pont, la tête sous le
bras et un sac sur le dos, tous des éléments que
les anciens associaient à la mort. De plus, le petit
chien de la ferme aboie, comme doivent le faire
les chiens pour prévenir d'une mort prochaine.
- Vous dites que les trolls représentaient la mort.
La mort ou les morts?
- Peut-être les deux. Dans son livre sur les
fantômes et les revenants au Moyen Age, Claude
Lecoteaux énumère les traits typiques des morts,
et il est effrayant de voir combien de traits
caractéristiques sont communs aux revenants et
aux trolls. En même temps, le troll représente un
danger imminent, bien sûr.
- Si vous me permettez de jouer l'avocat du
diable, ou peut-être du troll, ces changements ne
montrent-ils pas simplement que les conteurs
inventent toujours de nouvelles choses? Que
tous les conteurs aiment bien y ajouter du leur?
- Les conteurs d'autrefois avaient toujours une
structure bien rigide pour leurs récits. Ils en
changeaient les noms et les descriptions, tout en
gardant les structures. Il faut y ajouter que toute
tradition implique un changement, bien sûr, et
le troll a été utilisé par tous et dans tous les buts
d'une façon extrêmement ambivalente. Il y a
beaucoup de gens qui écrivent sur les trolls, qu'ils
feraient beaucoup mieux d'appeler "mon troll"
étant donné que le rapport avec les trolls des
contes populaires est loin d'être évident. Mais en
même temps il est intéressant pour moi, en tant
que chercheur, de voir l'utilisation qui se fait des
trolls comme symbole. Ils peuvent représenter la
nature/l'enfant/ la force/ le spécifiquement nor-
végien… et un mélange de tout cela.
- Le troll est donc un concept bien plus compli-
qué qu'on ne le croit?
- Oui, malheureusement. Lorsque j'ai quitté la
France pour venir ici je croyais qu'un troll était
un troll, voilà tout. Mais nous voyons que le troll
est une construction culturelle et un produit de
l'imagination qui réusssit à garder ses structures
intactes pendant mille ans. Cela prouve combien
il est profondément ancré dans cette culture.
D'un autre côté, nous avons le problème du
manque de sources écrites entre l'époque nor-
roise et celle du romantisme national, ce qui fait
que nous postulons une continuité entre les deux
époques.
-Comment les gens réagissent-ils quand vous
leur dites que vous travaillez sur les trolls?
- Cela dépend de comment je le leur dis. Si je dis
que je travaille sur les trolls ils sourient et essai-
ent de me raconter tout ce qu'ils savent ou pens-
ent des trolls. Avant, quand mon norvégien
n'était pas très bon, ils sortaient souvent les
récits tout à fait élémentaires, même quand
j'étudiais les contes depuis quelques années déjà.
Mais quand j'ai fini mon doctorat les gens ont
cessé de sourire, car alors "il fallait que cela soit
du sérieux". Lorsque mon fils de cinq ans a vu le
livre avec un beau dessin de troll sur la
couverture il a eu hâte de l'ouvrir. Mais il a été
très déçu en l'ouvrant, puisqu'"il n'y avait que
des caractères". Car c'est du sérieux. Etant donné
que les trolls représentent des idées qui sont
fondamentales dans la culture norvégienne ,
nous avons toute raison de les prendre au série-
ux.
- Que faites-vous en ce moment?
- J'essaie de comprendre les trolls en rapport
avec le développement de la société, pour voir la
foi dans les trolls comme un processus. Nous
sommes presque obligés d'avoir un autre point de
vue que l'industrie des trolls, qui profitent finan-
cièrement de cette culture. Nous démystifions et
expliquons, ce qui est presque le contraire
d'attirer l'attention des gens sur eux et les vendre
aux touristes. D'une certaine manière faire un
travail de recherche
sur les trolls n'a rien de particulièrement pass-
ionnant. C'est un sujet de recherche comme un
autre.
- Que pensez-vous des trolls?
- Voilà une question que personne ne m'a
jamais posée! Je les aime bien. Ce sont des
êtres agréables. Nous avons beaucoup en
commun, et nous travaillons ensemble
depuis sept ans. Le troll n'est pas toujours
le même, il a de multiples facettes, de sorte
qu'il est toujours intéressant de le revoir.

incontriamo in fretta da una conferenza
nordica sui troll all'albergo Soria Moria
(nome logico, tratto da una nota fiaba),
incinta di sette mesi. Adesso sta iniziando
un progetto nordico su esseri soprannatur-
ali del Nord, sul fatto che la credenza sta
cambiando, e soprattutto, come funziona.
Perché quello che le interessa di più è
l'importanza sociale e culturale dei troll e
dei folletti.
Da esperta, come li descrivera a una per-
sona che non li conosce del tutto, cosa è
un troll?
Sono esseri soprannaturali specificamente
nordici, collegati alla natura. Sono grandi,
brutti e forti. Si trovano nei paesi del
Nord, ma ogni paese ne presenta tipi
diversi. Non esistono in Finlandia, e scar-
samente in Danimarca. Il punto di riferi-
mento del troll si trova nelle fiabe e nelle
leggende. Ma il troll sta sempre cambi-
ando. Negli ultimi cinquant'anni è
cambiato più che nei mille anni preced-
enti. Dagli anni trenta soprattutto nella
letteratura dei bambini sono nati nuovi
tipi di troll e nuovi modi di concepirli.
Questo grazie all'ispirazione dai troll delle
illustrazioni dell'artista norvegese Theodor
Kittelsen.
Allora si può dire che solo l'Ottocento e il
Novecento siano i secoli del troll?
Se con la nozione "troll" si considera il
personaggio soprannaturale delle fiabe, sì.
Ci sono tanti racconti noti in altri paesi,
dove i mostri sono rappresentati dal dia-
volo, da draghi che vomitano fuoco,
oppure daorchi divoratori di uomini. In
Norvegia però, il ruolo del mostro è rap-
presentato da uno o più troll.
Mah, i troll hanno la coda, no?
Solo dopo il 1884. Allora Kittelsen pre-
sentò le sue prime illustrazioni di troll, i
troll con la coda. Solo dopo troviamo i
narratori di fiabe che, ispirati dai disegni di
Kittelsen, forniscono i loro troll di una
coda. Così il troll viveva sotto l'influenza
della narrativaa popolare e quella delle
cultura elitara.
Dunque, a quanto riguarda i troll, infatti si
può parlare di un "a. K." e di un "d. K."?
Sì, esatto, "ante Kittelsen" e "dopo
Kittelsen", perché lui era decisivissimo per
la nostra immagine del troll. J. F.

Erano vestiti di fogliame come "selvaggi" -
senza la coda.
Allora c'è da dire che l'idea del troll
"codino" era ovvia. Sarà ben noto che
anche altri esseri soprannaturali hanno la
coda, e dunque perchè no anche il troll di
Kittelsen?
Quanto all'aspetto, ... I troll non si vedono
esattamente. Sono lì solamente, fuori, nel
bosco, a notte.
Ha parloto dei cambiamenti capitati al
troll. Come si vedono questi cambiamenti?
C'è il troll carino, c'è il troll da attivista
ecologista. Ci sono le cartoline con
graziosi troll fanciulli protettori degli alci
contro i cacciatori. Questo è un ruolo
sconosciuto al troll delle fiabe.
Che ne pensa dei troll?
Infatti è la prima volta che mi hanno fatto
quella domanda. Mi piacciono. Sono esseri
piacevoli. Abbiamo molto in comune, ed è
da sette anni che lavoriamo insieme. Sono
esseri dalla natura ambigua, che non è

sempre la stessa, e così è sempre appass-
ionante incontrarli di nuovo.
Da aggressore alla cultura il troll diventa
protettore della natura?
Ma in origine nei tempi antichi, com'era il
troll?
Il troll è il destino. Il troll è la morte.
Mediante i troll, si potevano rappresentare
le vecchie caratteristiche culturali dei nor-
vegesi che erano proibite dalla religione.
La migliore descrizione possibile di cosa è
un troll si trova nell'illustrazione di
Kittelsen della fiaba "Smørbukk"
("Mangiaburro"). Lì si vedono i boschi, i
monti e i laghi, la solita scenografia natur-
ale dei troll. In questo paesaggio si trova la
piccola fattoria, opera degli uomini. Sul
ponte sta arrivando il trollone brutto e
forte, la testa sotto il braccio e lo zaino alle
spalle, tutti tratti delle antiche concezioni
della morte. E si vede il piccolo cane da
guardia che abbaia, come deve fare per
annunciare la morte.
Dice che i troll rappresentavano la morte.
Allora la morte oppure i morti?
Forse tutti e due. Nel suo libro su "gli
spettri e gli spiriti del Medio Evo", Claude
Lecoteaux fa un elenco dei tratti generali
dei morti, e fa paura vedere quante
caratteristiche hanno in comune gli spiriti
e i troll. Nello stesso tempo il troll rappre-
senta anche il pericolo incombente.
Se vorrei fare l'avvocato del diavolo,
oppure il troll, non saranno questi cambia-
menti forse soltanto ancora un esempio dei
narratori che inventano sempre qualcosa
di nuovo? E che ogni narratore vuole pre-
sentare una versione originale?
I narratori di prima avevano le loro
strutture fisse delle fiabe. Cambiavano i
nomi e le descrizioni, ma la struttura
rimaneva la stessa. C'è anche da dire che
la tradizione è cambiamento, e il troll è
usato da tutti a scopi estremamente
ambigui. Ci sono molte persone che
scrivono del troll, il troll norvegese, e
l'avrebbero dovuto chiamare "il mio troll",
perché non ha quasi niente a che fare con
il troll delle fiabe. Ma nello stesso tempo è
interessante per me da studiosa, vedere
l'uso del troll come simbolo. Può simbo-
leggiare la natura/il fanciullo/la forza/il
norvegese .. e anche una mescolanza di
tutto questo.
Il troll è dunque una nozione più estesa di
quanto si potrebbe pensare?
Purtroppo sì. Quando sono venuta qui
dalla Francia, pensavo che un troll era un
troll. E basta. Ma troviamo che il troll è
una costruzione culturale, una fantasia, in
grado di mantenere le sue strutture invari-
ate per un millennio. Questo da mostra il
suo forte ancoraggio culturale. Però, c'è il
problema dello scarso materiale scritto tra
i tempi norreni e il romanticismo nazion-
ale, che ci fa postulare una relazione tra
allora e oggi.
Com'è la reazione quando racconta che
stai facendo delle ricerche sui troll?
Dipende dal modo in cui lo dico. Se dico
che lavoro con i troll, sorridono cercando
di raccontarmi tutto quello che sanno o
credono dei troll. All'inizio soprattutto,
quando non sapevo tanto bene il nor-
vegese, mi facevano spesso le storie tutto
elementari, anche quando avevo fatto due
anni di studi delle fiabe. Ma dopo la libera
docenza hanno smesso di sorridere, perché
"deve essere una cosa seria". A vedere il
mio libro con il bel disegno di un troll
sulla copertina, mio figlio di cinque anni fu
ansioso di aprirlo. Ma l'interiore era una
delusione; "niente immagini, soltano lett-
ere!". Perché è veramente una cosa seria.
Con buone ragioni si prendono sul serio le
idee fondamentali dei troll nella cultura
norvegese.
Adesso cosa stai facendo?
Cerco di capire i troll nello sviluppo soci-
ale, di considerare la credenza nei troll
come un processo. Per noi è necessario un
punto di vista diversa di quella dell'indus-
tria dei troll, che trae profitto dalla cultura.
Loro li mettono a fuoco, e li vendono ai
turisti. Noi invece li demistifichiamo e
spieghiamo, cioè quasi il contrario. Infatti
non è particolarmente divertente fare delle
ricerche sui troll. è come ricercare ogni
altro tema.

Das Festival begann am Freitag abend um
18 Uhr mit einem besonderen Programm
für die Kinder und Anwohner. Ungefähr
400 Kinder kamen mit ihren Eltern, so
daß über tausend Menschen bei der
Ankunft des großen Trolls »Haribol«
zugegen waren. Sie brachten Zeichnungen
des Trolls mit, und die besten der jeweils
4-5, 6-7, 8-9 und 10-11jährigen bekamen
einen Preis.
Anschließend marschierte man die Hügel
hinauf in die umliegenden Wälder. Hier
zeigte die Theatergruppe »Spielmann« ein
lustiges Stück über zwei Trollfamilien und
einen Bauern, der sich in einen weib-
lichen Troll verliebt. Nach einem kleinen
Umtrunk erreichte man die Stadt gerade
mit Einbruch der Dunkelheit. Die leucht-
enden Lampions und Kerzen sahen sehr
schön aus.
Bei dem Fest am Sonnabend, es begann
ebenfalls um 18 Uhr, konnte wiederum
jedermann teilnehmen - und man kam aus
dem ganzen Land. Noch einmal begrüßten
über tausend Menschen den großen Troll
»Haribol« und die »Nationalgarde«,
welche das »Trollbier« präsentierte. Dann
ging wieder in den Wald, wo der örtliche
Naturschutzverein eigens eine Route fest-
gelegt hatte, auf der man auch etwas ler-
nen konnte. Aber natürlich spukten auch
hier die Trolle!
Im Städtchen zurück, wurden die Prämien
an die Gewinner verteilt, die das Gewicht
des größten aller Trolle, von Haribol
richtig geschätzt hatten. Die Gewinne
verteilte Henrik Flaarönning, nachdem er
zusammen mit Anders Flaarönning ein
norwegisches Volkslied zum Besten
gegeben hatte. Die beiden betreuten
zusammen mit Ola Flaarönning das
Festival, so daß alle Chefs und fünf ihrer
Vertreter bei dem ersten internationalen
Festival dieser Art zugegen waren.
Gegen 11 Uhr war das Trollbier aus-
getrunken, aber glücklicherweise ist dies

Trollfans machten das Festival zu einem
großen Erfolg. Sogar der örtliche Pfarrer,
Pastor Kurris, besuchte das Fest, das bis
tief in die Nacht andauerte. In seiner
kurzen Ansprache hob er den Wert men-
schlicher Fantasie hervor und daß es
schön sei, wenn die Menschen diese
friedlich ausleben würden.
Auch die Medien beachteten das
Trollfestival. Ein Radioprogramm und
zwei nationale Fernsehgesellschaften
berichteten teilweise sogar live. Jetzt
freuen und bereiten sich alle auf das näch-
ste Trollfestival im Jahre 1997 vor!

"Mythe et magie"
Les festivités ont commencé par un pro-
gramme spécial pour les enfants et les
habitants du village, le vendredi soir à six
heures. Environ quatre cents enfants sont
venus, accompagnés par leurs parents, de
sorte qu'ils ont été plus d'un millier à
assister à l'arrivée du grand troll "Haribol".
Ils avaient apporté leurs dessins de trolls,
et les meilleurs ont été récompensés par
des prix. Il y avait quatre catégories pour
les différents âges, 4-5, 6-7, 8-9 et 10-11
ans.
Puis ils ont gravi la colline et sont entrés
dans la forêt, où la troupe de théâtre "de
speelman" leur a joué une pièce bien
agréable sur deux familles de trolls et un
fermier amoureux d'une dame troll. Après
quelques rafraîchissements, ils sont retour-
nés au village à la tombée de la nuit,
tenant des flambeaux à la main, ce qui
était très joli.
Le samedi aussi, on a commencé à18 heur-

troll "Haribol". La bière "Troll øl" a été

Do trolls exist? Er bekam wirklich einen Schreck, der Chef des EPA-Ladens an der »Bystasjonen«, als er 1996
an einem Montag morgen die Türen seines Ladens öffnete. Mitten auf dem Fußboden hatte
jemand tonnenschwere Felsen aufgehäuft. Aber das war doch unmöglich! Der Laden besitzt
eine Alarmanlage und wird von einer Wachgesellschaft kontrolliert. Waren übermenschliche
Kräfte am Werk? Hatte hier ein Troll gespielt? Nein, diesmal waren es nur die Kunststudenten...

When the wind gives arms to the trees, legs to the lake and a voice to the mountain,

Lorsque le propriétaire du magasin EPA à la gare routière de Bergen ouvrit les portes de son
magasin un lundi matin en 1996, il reçut le choc de sa vie. Au milieu du magasin, on avait
déposé quelques tonnes de pierres énormes. Le magasin est doté d'un système d'alarme, et des
gardiens passent régulièrement. Ce qu'il voyait était donc tout à fait incroyable. Serait-ce les
trolls, pour qui rien n'est impossible? Non, cette fois les responsables n'étaient que quelques
étudiants de l'Ecole des Beaux-Arts…
Les trolls existent-ils vraiment?
Quand la sombre forêt de sapins marchent silencieusement sur place, les soirs d'automne, les
trolls existent.
Quand les pierres solitaires se dressent dans la vallée, figées
dans leur mouvement, les trolls existent.
Quand les montagnes anciennes ont un visage, un nom et une signification, les trolls existent.
Quand le feu de la cheminée est ta seule protection contre les ombres dehors, les trolls existent.
Quand le petit garçon parle à quelqu'un que personne d'autre ne voit, les trolls existent.

vigilanza. Ma questo non è possibile. Fuori delle capacità umani. Sarebbero dei troll? No, sta-

excellente de recevoir des nouvelles et de rester en contact
avec la vie souterraine et passionnante des trolls.

L'adhésion eu Club est annuelle (du premier janvier au trente
et un décembre). Le premier bulletin vous sera adressé avec le
Troll 1997, édité spécialement pour les membres du club
environ 4 à 8 semaines après la réception de votre adhésion et
du paiement correspondant. Le bulletin sera vraisemblable-
ment expédié à partir de février 1997

L'associazione è valida per un anno (dal 1° gennalo al 31 dice-
mbre). Primo numero della rivista del troll e il Troll Socio
1997 in edizione speciale vi verranno recapitati da 4 a 8 setti-
mane dopo il ricevimento del presente modulo di adesione e
della quota associativa. L'invio della rivista inizlzerè presumib-
limente in febbario del 1997.
