Türen Door s

Herzliches Willkommen. Der Kontrast der rauen

Birkenrinden zu den sommerlich wirkenden Blüten
macht den Reiz dieses Türkranzes aus. Dazu wird
ein handelsfertiger Birkenkranz auf der Rückseite
mit Drähten versehen, um ihn auf einen Steck-
schaumring stecken zu können. Dessen Rand wird
dann mit den Seidenblumenblüten besteckt. Ein
angeknoteter Bänderschweif vervollständigt den
Kranz, der selbst im Außenbereich einen lange
haltbaren und witterungsbeständigen Türschmuck
abgibt.

A cordial welcome. The contrast between the

rough birchwood bark and the summery
flowers gives this door wreath its charm. Here,
wires are added onto the back of a ready-made
birch wreath so that this can be mounted onto
a ring of floral foam. The edge of this foam is
then decorated with silk flowers. A knotted
ribbon completes this wreath, which provides a
long-lasting and weather-proof door decoration
even in outdoor conditions.

Assoziativ wirkende Floralgestaltung. Für

eine Kaffeebar bietet sich solch eine Gestaltung
geradezu an, die von ihrer Farbe und Formgebung
her Assoziationen an das ursprünglich mittelame-
rikanische, rassige Getränk nahe legt. Die in ihrer
Form an Kaffeebohnen erinnernden Holzvasen
sind Handelsprodukte, die mit knorrigen Ästen ver-
sehen werden. Diese bilden wiederum Fixierungs-
grundlage für die weißblütigen Seidenblumen. Die
rechteckigen Tabletts sind mit unterschiedlichen
Materialien wie braunem Granulat, Kaffeebohnen
und grobem Rohrzucker bestreut.

Floral designs with associative effects. Such

a design is perfect for a coffee bar. Its form
and colour remind us of the hot-blooded drink
which originally came from Central America.
The wooden vases shaped like coffee beans
are commercial products, supplemented with
gnarled branches, which in turn provide a
basis for the white-blossomed silk flowers. The
square platters are strewn with various materi-
als such as brown granulate, coffee beans and
coarse-grained sugar.

Kamindekoration. Handelsübliche Holzschalen,

die aufgrund ihrer knorrigen Bestandteile sehr
rustikal und selbst schon wie ein gestapelter
Holzscheit für ein Feuer aussehen, sind mit Blüten,
Früchten und Blättern gefüllt. Diese werden zum
Teil mit Heißkleber in ihrer gewünschten Position
gehalten. Als Duo sind diese Holzschalen eine ideale
Floraldekoration in der Kaminecke.

with flowers, fruits and leaves. Some of these
are secured in their required position with
hot-melt glue. As a duo, these wooden bowls

Grüner Tischschmuck für frische Optik. Ganz in Grün und
Weiß gehalten, passt sich floraler Tafelschmuck meist auch in ein
konservatives, wertiges Ambiente ein. Eine modern-zeitgemäße
Entsprechung stellen die Gefäße in Betonoptik dar. Vor allem
die Clematis-Ranke aus textilem Material bedingt die ovale, seitlich
auslaufende Form in der länglichen Schale mit Sockel. Die anderen
weißblühenden Werkstoffe werden kurz geschnitten und kom-
pakt dazu in die Trockensteckschaumbasis gesteckt. Die Kerzen-
ständer sind mit einer floralen Umkränzung aus den gleichen
Werkstoffen versehen. Wer dazu eine flachere Variante haben
möchte, kann auf einem Betonteller rund um eine Betonkugel
arrangieren. Die seitlich abführenden Transparentbänder erhalten
eine florale Spange. Dazu wird ein Kränzchen gewickelt, dieses
aufs Band gelegt und mit einem Silberdraht umwickelten Holzstab
mit Perlen besetzten Enden spangenartig fixiert.
Green table decorations for a fresh look. In white and
green tones only, floral table decorations are generally best
suited to a conservative, valuable-looking ambience. The
vessels in concrete-look have an appropriately modern,
up-to-date appearance. The textile clematis tendrils in the
long bowl set on a base are given an oval form tapering
out to the sides. The other white-flowering materials are
cut short and inserted in a compact form into the dry floral
foam base. The candlesticks are decorated with a floral ring
of the same materials. When a flatter variation is required,
floral materials can be arranged round a concrete ball on a
concrete plate. The transparent ribbons hanging off to one
side are decorated with a floral clip. The clip consists of a
small wreath laid on the ribbon and held tight by a wooden
rod wrapped in silver wire and decorated with pearl ends.

die sich rund um den Waschtisch und die Bade-
wanne finden. Ein Tablett fasst alles zusammen,
was an Notwendigem einerseites, an Genuss-
vollem andererseits und schließlich an Dekorativem
zusammenkommen kann. Den kleinen, getopften
Sukkulenten – die kaum erkennen lassen, dass sie
die künstlichen Varianten sind – nimmt man es ab,
dass sie diesem Spiel gewachsen sind.

everything that could possibly be combined:

also the decorative. The little potted succulents

Floraler Saunaschmuck. Zu einem rustikalen

Saunaumfeld passt am besten Floralschmuck mit
rauen Werkstoffen. Die knorrigen Wurzeln sind
prädestiniert, um die schmückenden Blütenkugeln
zu tragen. Wie auf der linken Seite zu sehen,
werden die Wurzeln mit Draht aneinander fixiert,
die Trockensteckschaumkugel mit gelben Seiden-
blumen Kopf an Kopf besteckt bzw. eine mit
Kokoasfaserquadraten dicht an dicht beklebt. Auf
dieser Seite dient ein angefertiger Metallständer
als Basis, auf den Holzquader gespießt und mit
Rebdraht miteinander verbunden werden. In diese
Konstruktion können dann die Blüten und Gräser
eingesteckt bzw. geklebt werden.

roots are fixed to each other using wire. The
dry floral foam balls are covered with yellow
silk flower heads or have a dense covering
of coconut fibre squares glued on. On this
page, a prefabricated metal stand serves as a
base which is speared onto a wooden block
and secured to it with covered wire. Flowers
and grasses can be inserted or glued into this
construction.

Viele Menschen haben Vorbehalte gegenüber künstlicher Floristik. Je mehr aber diesen Floralien der Charakter der Unnatürlichkeit ge-
nommen wird, je echter sie aussehen, desto mehr besteht die Wahrscheinlichkeit, dass Dauerfloristik zu einem wirklich eigenständigen
Bereich floristischen Gestaltens wird. Lukrativ ist er in jedem Fall.
Was nimmt nun diesen Floralien ihre Unnatürlichkeit? An erster Stelle steht das Produkt selbst. Mittlerweile bietet der Markt eine Fülle
an Floralien, die ihren natürlichen Vorbildern täuschend echt nachempfunden sind. Eine hohe Produktqualität und Sorgfalt bei der Ent-
wicklung, Auswahl der Materialien, Farben, Oberflächengestaltung und ihrer Formgebung machen dies möglich.
An zweiter Stelle steht der verarbeitende Florist, der es in der Hand hat, eine dauerhafte Floristik noch natürlicher erscheinen zu lassen.
Das geschieht in der Kombination von Künstlichem und Natürlichem. Trockenwerkstoffe oder gut eintrocknende Werkstoffe, die sich
dafür eignen, sind: Gräser, Getreide, Ranken, Moose, Wurzeln, Blüten- und Fruchtstände wie Lavandula, Scabiosa, Lunaria etc., Zweige
mit haltbarem Laub wie z.B. Olea, Quercus, Laurus, Buxus etc. oder Fruchtkörper wie Schoten, Kapseln oder Zapfen.
Neben der Kombination von künstlichen Floralien mit natürlichen Bestandteilen unterstützt zum dritten die Art der Verarbeitung eine
naturnahe Anmutung. Landschaftliche Gestaltungen oder die Verwendung von Zweigen in Form natürlicher Gerüste bei Gestecken
oder Sträußen, mindern ebenfalls den Eindruck der Künstlichkeit. Nebenstehende Beispiele verdeutlichen dies.

Many people have reservations about about floral design with artificial materials. However, the more the artificial floral
elements lose the character of unnaturalness and the more genuine they look, the more probable it is that long-life floristry
will become a segment of floral design that can really stand on its own two feet. About its profitability there is no doubt.
How to stop the floral materials looking unnatural? First, there's the product itself. Nowadays there are a multitude of
artificial flowers on the market that are practically indistinguishable from the real thing. What makes this possible is product
quality and the meticulous care devoted to development, selection of materials, colours, finish, design and styling.
Second, there's the workmanship of the florists, who have means at their disposal to make long-life floral design look even
more natural. The chief means is the combination of the artificial and the natural. Dry materials or well dried-out materials
that are suitable for this are: grasses, cereals, twines, mosses, roots, inflorescences and infructescences such as Lavandula,
Scabiosa, Lunaria, etc., sprigs with long-lasting foliage such as Olea, Quercus, Laurus, Buxus, etc., or fruiting bodies such as
pods, capsule seeds and pine cones.
Third, apart from the combination of artificial floral materials with natural components, the shaping of the various
elements strengthens the sense of nearness to nature. Regional compositions and the use of twigs in natural shapes and
forms for arrangements and bouquets also tend to diminish the impression of artificiality. The following examples by
way of illustration.
