Hipath Trading:
one name –
three areas of application
No other system meets the requirements of financial
business and trading as perfectly as HiPath Trading.
Whether the business involves security or share
trading, energy trading, futures transactions, bond
trading or portfolio management, a tardy response
or hitting the wrong button can make the difference
between gaining or losing millions. Which is why a
high-performance communication system needs to be
as simple and secure in its handling as HiPath Trading.
At the same time, the advantages of this unique
communication system are enjoyed and appreciated
by dispatchers belonging to police services, fire depart-
ments, utilities, traffic control centers, airports and
other dispatchers right across the world. Even more
areas of application exist in the executive sector,
whether at senior management level or in reception
areas.
HiPath Trading has been undergoing further
development and optimization for years. The versions
developed to date, including the latest Version V3.0,
are based on TDM (Time Division Multiplexing).
High efficiency and absolute reliability make HiPath
Trading the optimum system for all sectors where
time and security are the decisive factors, which is
why HiPath Trading is in service with more than
360 customers in over 40 countries.
Pure IP –
the new generation
The new V4.x versions are based on IP (Internet Protocol),
and offer the following benefits:
• «One wire to the desk»
• Data and voice traffic via a single network: IP
• Open platform without proprietary hardware
• Remote workstations (e.g. branch network or home-based)
• Users can continue to utilize familiar features from
the TDM version
• HECTOR® or Soft-Client-PC as terminal
The new Version V4.0 is distinguished by the following
features:
• Up to 30 users and up to 240 lines in one system
(closed user group)
• Maximum of two headphone sets and one monitoring
speaker per terminal
The new Version V4.1 offers further special characteristics:
• Freely scalable: More than 1000 users and over 4000 lines
in one system (closed user group) with shared lines and
«free seating» thanks to IP (for all installed devices)
• Maximum of four headphone sets and four monitoring
speakers per terminal
• Redundant Trading-Switch-Architecture for enhanced failsafe
characteristics
• Application integration, e.g. expanded integration of Voice
Recording for direct access to Turret voice recording
 Migration –
retaining the familiar Look & Feel
If you already using HiPath Trading, and would like to benefit
from the advantages of the IP version, we can offer you a
variety of migration packages.
All trading-related user data is transferred from the TDM
version to the IP version. This migration allows the user to
continue operating HiPath Trading in the same manner.

Customized adaptions –
tailor made to meet complex

In the financial sector, among dispatchers or in the executive
area, each type of business and almost every workstation is
subject to different priorities. Individual design options, high
