FEATURES

The Johnson Controls YORK Commercial Packaged Air Conditioners offer a unique combination
of advanced Technology, versatility and ease of installation and operation. This range of Package
units from Johnson Controls offers superior product quality, efficiency in operation and value for
money.

These units are available as cool only and cool only with electric heater models and are available
in 380-415 V/3 Ph / 50 Hz power supply. All models are designed for satisfactory operation in
the high ambient conditions of 52°C.

With low noise levels and other unique features, these packaged units are suitable for a variety of
applications such as high rise buildings, condominiums, offices, schools, commercial real estate,
larger indoor play areas, and other similar applications.

All units are designed with the convenience of the customer and the end user in mind and are
factory assembled and tested. All that is required at site is ducting and connection to a power
source and control, thus reducing installation time and cost.

Standard Features

• Packaged units are designed for operation with R410A refrigerant and are suitable for
mounting on the roof or on the ground.
• Compressors are fully hermetic scroll type designed for high efficiency and provided with
standard controls and safety devices. HP & LP cutouts are provided for the safe operation of the
compressor. All units are provided with 2.5 - 3 minutes time delay for compressor start.
• Evaporator and Condenser coils are made of seamless inner grooved copper tubes and
aluminum fins mechanically bonded and are factory pressure tested at 550 PSIG.
• Condenser Fans are propeller type, direct drive draw through with vertical discharge. The fan
guard is mounted to the panel.
• Evaporator blowers are centrifugal type with forward curved blade design and equipped with a
V belt drive that shall permit the blower RPM to be adjusted to meet the exact CFM requirement
of the system.
• Units are supplied with 2” disposable filters.
• Units are supplied with a primary control voltage of 24V through a transformer. The control box
is easily accessible and all units are provided with compressor lockout either by locking relays
or by a high pressure control trip with manual reset switch. Units are completely factory wired
with single point power input.
• All components are mounted in a weather resistant steel cabinet. The cabinet and access panels
are powder coated for lasting protection and durability. Evaporator section is insulated with
1’’ Puff panel, knock outs are provided for utility and control connections.
