1 Einleitung
In den vergangenen Jahren hat sich die Firma BITZER stetig
vergrößert und weiterentwickelt. Weltweit sind Vertriebs-
niederlassungen gegründet worden.
Fertigungsstätten von BITZER-Verdichtern gibt es mittlerwei-
le in Europa, Asien und Amerika. In Asien wird unter dem
Oberbegriff GREEN POINT ein Netz von Servicefirmen auf-
gebaut.
In Reklamationsfällen bietet diese globale Aufstellung sowohl
für BITZER als auch für unsere Kunden Vorteile, vorausge-
setzt, dass die beteiligten Parteien (in erster Linie BITZER-
Kunden bzw. -Mitarbeiter) über die Abläufe Bescheid wissen
und entsprechend handeln.
Spricht man von Reklamationsfällen mit den von der BITZER
Kühlmaschinenbau GmbH verkauften Verdichtern, dann las-
sen sich diese fast immer in einer der drei nachfolgend be-
schriebenen Prozeduren abwickeln. Die Abwicklung selbst
kann wiederum in vier Verfahrensschritte unterteilt werden.
Je nach Konstellation kann es sich im Einzelnen um einen
einfachen Routinefall handeln, bei dem nur wenige Abteilun-
gen bzw. Personen bei Firma BITZER involviert sind.
Daneben sind andere, komplexere Szenarien denkbar, bei
denen eine Zusammenarbeit vom BITZER-Stammwerk und
den externen BITZER-Vertriebs- bzw. -Fertigungsstätten
erforderlich wird.

1 Preliminaries
During the past years the BITZER Group has grown continu-
ously and further developed. Sales subsidiaries have been
founded worldwide.
Plants manufacturing BITZER compressors now exist in
Europe, Asia and America. A network of service companies
called GREEN POINT is set up in Asia.
This global presence offers advantages for both our cus-
tomers and BITZER in case of a warranty claim provided
that the people involved know about the procedures/routines
and act accordingly.
In case of warranty claims of products sold by BITZER
Kühlmaschinenbau GmbH the handling can be done by fol-
lowing one of the three different procedures described
below. The handling itself can be classified in four procedur-
al steps.
Depending on the case rather simple scenarios can occur
where only few departments or persons at BITZER are
involved.
There are also more complex scenarios existing where a
cooperation between the BITZER Headquarters and external
BITZER sales subsidiaries or manufacturing plants is neces-
sary.

Grundsätzlich muss beachtet werden, dass im Fall einer
Reklamation die in den allgemeinen Geschäftsbedingungen
enthaltenen Ausführungen zu beachten sind. Wird vom
Kunden ein Mangel an einem BITZER-Produkt festgestellt,
hat er diesen zeitnah bei der Stelle anzuzeigen, von der die
Ware bezogen wurde. Siehe hierzu Abbildung 1.
Wird beispielsweise ein Verdichter vom BITZER-Stammwerk
über BITZER Italien (D) an einen italienischen Kunden (C)
verkauft. Dann kann dieser Verdichter in einen Kaltwasser-
satz installiert werden, der wiederum nach Saudi-Arabien
exportiert wird. Fällt dort der Verdichter innerhalb der Ge-
währleistungsperiode aus, dann hat der saudische Endkun-
de (A) bzw. der saudische Anlagenbauer (B) die Beanstan-
dung nicht an den BITZER-Vertreter in Saudi-Arabien (E)
und auch nicht an die BITZER-Niederlassung im Mittleren
Osten (D), sondern an seinen italienischen Lieferanten (C)
zu melden.
Es ist Aufgabe der BITZER-Tochter (D) den Kunden im
Vorfeld über diesen Punkt aufzuklären. In der Vergangenheit
sind Fälle passiert, bei denen sich der Endkunde (A) bzw.
der Anlagenbauer (B) anhand der BITZER-Homepage sich
die Adresse der jeweiligen Ländervertretung von BITZER
besorgt hat und der Meinung war, dass diese Stelle ver-
pflichtet wäre ihm Hilfestellung zu geben.
In diesem Punkt muss auch klar unterschieden werden
zwischen BITZER-Niederlassungen (BITZER-Töchter, D)
und BITZER-Vertretungen (E). Letztgenannte sind von
BITZER unabhängige Firmen.

mentally. If a customer notices a defect of a BITZER product
the customer shall notify the BITZER contact where the
product was bought from without further delay. See also fig-
ure 1.
If for instance a compressor manufactured by BITZER Ger-
many is being sold by BITZER Italy (D) to an Italian cutomer
(C), it is possible that this compressor will be installed in a
chiller which is again being exported to Saudi Arabia. In case
of a compressor breakdown during the warranty period nei-
ther the final customer (A) nor the contractor / installer (B) in
Saudi Arabia shall contact the BITZER agent or BITZER rep-
resentative (E) in Saudi Arabia or the BITZER Middle East
subsidiary (D). He shall contact the Italian supplier (C)
directly.
It is up to the BITZER subsidiary (D) to inform the customer
regarding this procedure beforehand. There have been
cases in the past where a final customer (A) or the contrac-
tor / installer (B) respectively have got the address of the
local BITZER dealer from the BITZER homepage and
believed that the local dealer is obliged to give him support.
A clear differentiation has to be made between BITZER sub-
sidiaries (BITZER daughters, D) and BITZER agents (E).
Last-named are companies independent from BITZER.

2.2 Untersuchung bei einer BITZER-Fertigungsstätte 2.2 Examination in a BITZER manufacturing plant

In der Praxis ist es denkbar, dass in den BITZER Werken
Rottenburg bzw. Schkeuditz hergestellte Verdichter nach
Süd- oder Nordamerika oder China exportiert werden. Dito

BITZER-Fertigungsstätte durchgeführt wird. Auch in Bezug
auf eine evtl. fällige Reparatur bzw. Ersatzlieferung, bei de-

weise ankommt, kann es zweckmäßig sein das örtliche
BITZER-Werk einzubinden. Da in solchen Fällen mehrere
Stellen involviert sind, die zudem räumlich weit auseinander
liegen, ist der korrekte Informationsfluss von entsprechend
großer Bedeutung (Abb. 5).
In practice it might be possible that compressors produced in

reverse. In case of a warranty claim it is obvious that the
necessary compressor inspection will be done in the local
BITZER manufacturing plant. Also regarding any kind of
repair work or delivery of spare parts (where often a fast and
reasonable procedure is necessary) it is advisable to keep
the local BITZER plant in the loop. In these cases the flow of
communication and information among all parties involved is
of special importance (fig. 5).

Tritt während der Gewährleistungsperiode an der in China
installierten Anlage ein Problem mit dem BITZER-Verdichter
auf, dann sollte sich der Endkunde (A) in der Regel an sei-
nen Lieferanten (B) wenden.
(A) ist es nicht untersagt sich direkt mit dem BITZER-Werk
in China (K) in Verbindung zu setzen. Dort muss man aber
entscheiden, ob es sich um einen Bagatellfall handelt, der
sich durch eine einfache Maßnahme erledigen lässt (z. B.
Hinweis auf technische Dokumentation) oder ob mehr hinter
der Anfrage steckt.
Falls (A) in diesem Stadium von der lokalen Fertigungsstätte
(K, in diesem Fall BITZER-China) z. B. einen Anlagenbesuch
wünschen, dann ist schon der Punkt erreicht, bei dem das
lokale BITZER-Werk diesem Wunsch nicht eigenständig
nachkommen darf.
Das BITZER-Werk (K) muss in einer derartigen Konstellation
das Stammwerk (F) informieren, noch wichtiger ist es aber,
dass der Anlagenbauer (B) sich an seinen Lieferanten (C)
wendet und ihm das Problem schildert.

In case a problem occurs during the warranty period in an
installation with a BITZER compressor which is running in
China, the final customer (A) shall get in contact with the
supplier (B).
Of course it is not forbidden for (A) to get directly in contact
with the BITZER plant in China (K). However it has to be
decided if it concerns a bagatelle, which can be solved easi-
ly (e.g. by referring to the technical documentation) or if there
is more behind the request.
In case the final customer (A) requires at this stage from the
local BITZER manufacturing plant (K, in this case China) a
site visit, a point has been reached where the local BITZER
plant should not fulfil this demand alone.
Under such circumstances the BITZER plant (K) must inform
the headquarters (F). Even more important is that the con-
tractor (B) contacts his supplier (C) and describes the prob-
lem to him.

BITZER in China (K) sind kundenseitig zu übernehmen. Bei
BITZER in China wird die retournierte Ware untersucht und
das Ergebnis über die vorhandene Reparaturdatenbank an
das Stammwerk nach Deutschland (F) übermittelt. BITZER
in China (K) darf gegenüber (A) oder (B) in diesem Stadium
keine Stellungnahme über die mögliche Ausfallursache
durchgeben.
Ausschließlich im Stammwerk wird anhand der vorliegenden
Informationen entschieden, wie der Reklamationsfall bewer-
tet werden soll (siehe auch Abbildung 6).

BITZER in China is not allowed to make any statement

quarters shall be authorised to decide about the claim (see
also figure 6).

Zusammenhang auch einen Vorschlag bezüglich der kom-

vier Wochen) sollte von (C) eine definitive Antwort vorliegen,
wie der konkrete Fall abzuschließen ist. Der defekte Verdich-
ter wird solange in der BITZER Fertigungsstätte aufbewahrt
(siehe auch Abbildung 7).
The customer (C) receives the inspection report and a com-
mercial proposal from the BITZER headquarters. After a
period of time (max. 4 weeks) the customer (C) should give
a final answer as to how this case should be closed. The
faulty compressor will be kept by BITZER for this period of
time (see also figure 7).

Kommerzielle Abwicklung
Besteht Einverständnis zwischen dem BITZER-Kunden (C)
und dem Stammwerk über die abschließende finanzielle
Regelung, dann läuft im Stammwerk der auf Seite 6 darge-
stellte Prozess ab. Die lokale BITZER-Fertigungsstätte (K)
bekommt vom Stammwerk eine Rückmeldung, dass der Fall
definitiv abgeschlossen ist. Zusätzlich müssen deren Auf-
wendungen (Verdichteruntersuchung) werksintern verrechnet
werden.
2.3 Untersuchung bei einer autorisierten Servicestätte
Die BITZER-Produkte werden weltweit vertrieben und es ist
denkbar, dass der Reklamationsfall in einem Land auftritt, in
dem die Ausfuhr der bemängelten Ware aus finanziellem
oder zolltechnischem Grund nicht möglich oder zu kostspie-
lig ist. Typisches Beispiel dafür sind Länder wie Russland
und Indien.
Die fällige Verdichteruntersuchung kann dann bei einer von
BITZER autorisierten Servicestätte durchgeführt werden.
Von BITZER autorisierte Werkstätten (siehe Seite 13 und
14) sind von BITZER unabhängige Firmen. Dies ist ein
Punkt, der bei der kommerziellen Abwicklung aber auch bei
einer eventuell notwendigen Reparatur zu beachten ist.
Um den prinzipiellen Ablauf darzustellen, bietet es sich an
folgenden Fall durch zu spielen:
• Verdichter im BITZER-Werk Rottenburg hergestellt
• BITZER-Tochter (D) aus Frankreich
• OEM (C) aus Frankreich
• Endkunde (A) in Russland
• Autorisierte Werkstatt (L) in Moskau / Russland
• BITZER-Tochter (D) in Russland
Kommunikation vor der Untersuchung
Im Gewährleistungsfall muss die Kommunikation wie in
Abbildung 8 dargestellt erfolgen.
Über das BITZER-Stammwerk wird die lokale russische
BITZER-Tochter (D) informiert und um Unterstützung gebe-
ten. Diese lokale Tochter (D) setzt sich anschließend mit der
autorisierten Werkstatt (L) in Verbindung, klärt den mögli-
chen Untersuchungstermin bzw. die Kosten der Inspektion
und gibt dies wieder an das Stammwerk (F) durch. Über die
BITZER-Tochter (D) in Frankreich bzw. den OEM / Groß-
handel (C) wird dies dem Anlagenbauer (B) mitgeteilt.
Letztgenannter muss die lokale Werkstatt (L) beauftragen
die Untersuchung durchzuführen und kann ihr danach die
beanstandete Ware senden.

Commercial handling
When the customer (C) and the BITZER headquarters come
to a financial conclusion, the headquarters can start the
process described on page 6. The BITZER plant gets infor-
mation from the headquarters that the case has been
agreed. In addition the costs of the local BITZER manufac-
turing (K) plant in regard to the inspection and handling have
to be considered.
2.3 Inspection at one of the authorised service stations
BITZER products are being marketed worldwide and it is
possible that the warranty claim occurs in a country where
the claimed product cannot be exported because of customs
or economical restrictions. Typical examples for such a coun-
try are Russia and India.
The compressor inspection may be carried out in such a
case through a BITZER authorised service station.
The BITZER authorised service stations (see page 13 and
14) are companies which are independent from BITZER.
This is an important point that has to be considered during
the commercial handling as well as any possible repair.
In order to illustrate the process, let's run through such a
case:
• Compressor produced in the BITZER plant Rottenburg
• BITZER subsidiary in France
• OEM (C) from France
• Final customer (A) in Russia
• Authorised service station (L) in Moscow / Russia
• BITZER subsidiary (D) in Russia
Communication before the inspection
In case of a warranty claim, the communication shall be car-
ried out as shown in figure 8.
The BITZER headquarters informs the local Russian
BITZER subsidiary (D) and asks it for assistance. This local
subsidiary (D) will get in touch with the authorised service
station (L), organize an inspection date as well as the price
for the inspection, and inform the headquarter (F). The con-
tractor / installer (B) is informed via the BITZER subsidiary
(D) in France or via the OEM / wholesaler (C) respectively.
The contractor / installer (B) must authorise the local service
station (L) to carry out the inspection and can arrange the
shipment of the claimed goods.

BITZER Tochter (D) anwesend, der danach über das Ergeb-
nis an das Stammwerk (F) berichten wird (siehe Abbil-
dung 9).
Inspection
A member of the local BITZER subsidiary (D) staff is present
during the inspection, also to inform the BITZER headquar-
ters (F) about the results (see figure 9).

4 Begriffsdefinitionen und Formblatt
Gehäusegutschrift
Die Gehäusegutschrift ist eine von BITZER auf freiwilliger
Basis gegebene Entschädigung für den Schrottwert (Materi-
alwert) eines an BITZER zurückgelieferten Verdichters, wenn
dieser nach der Untersuchung bei BITZER verbleibt und
keine andere Vergütung erfolgt (z. B. auf Grund von Garantie
bzw. Kulanz). Gehäusegutschriften sind nur möglich für Ver-
dichter bis zu einem Alter von maximal 8 Jahren.
Unmittelbar nach dem Ausbau aus der Anlage muss der
Verdichter verschlossen werden.
Die Rücksendung hat frachtfrei zu erfolgen, ansonsten wer-
den die Frachtkosten von der Gehäusegutschrift abgezogen.
Für Verdichter mit Gehäuseriss bzw. Wassereinbruch wird
keine Gehäusegutschrift erteilt. Gleiches gilt für hermetische
Verdichter sowie Aluminium-Verdichter für Transportanwen-
dung.
Die Höhe der Gutschrift basiert auf Neupreis-Nettobasis
ohne Zubehör. Besonders bei Schraubenverdichtern und
2-stufigen Verdichtern ist dies zu beachten. Erstgenannte
werden zur Untersuchung üblicherweise ohne Bausatz
Öleinspritzung bzw. 2-stufige Verdichter ohne Bausatz
Nacheinspritzung zurückgesandt. Bei der Berechnung der
Gehäusegutschrift von einem Neupreis abzüglich Bausatz
Öleinspritzung bzw. Nacheinspritzung auszugehen.
Die Gehäusegutschrift ist eine freiwillige Leistung von
BITZER, auf die keinerlei Anspruch besteht.
Rücklieferung neuer BITZER-Produkte
BITZER kann auf freiwilliger Basis aus Kulanz dem Kunden
gegenüber neue BITZER-Produkte zurückkaufen. Die Mög-
lichkeit eines Rückkaufs ist auf Produkte beschränkt, die
zum Zeitpunkt des Rückkaufs
• ein maximales Alter von zwei Jahren haben
• in der aktuellen Angebotspalette von BITZER enthalten
sind (aktuelle Modelle)
• originalverpackt sind
• noch nicht in eine Anlage eingebaut oder gar in Betrieb
genommen wurden
Sind die an BITZER zurückgesandten Produkte unbeschä-
digt und in einwandfreiem Zustand erstattet BITZER dem
Kunden für die Rücknahme:
• von Maschinen, Aggregaten und Behältern 60% des
tatsächlich bezahlten Kaufpreises.
• von Ersatz- und Verschleißteilen 40% des tatsächlich
bezahlten Kaufpreises.
Werden bei der Eingangskontrolle bei BITZER Schäden oder
Mängel festgestellt, erfolgt ein Abzug des Erstattungsbetra-
ges in Höhe des Aufwandes um das Produkt in einen ord-
nungsgemäßen Zustand zu versetzen.
Eine Rücknahme von neuen BITZER-Produkten durch
BITZER ist eine freiwillige Leistung von BITZER, auf die
keinerlei Anspruch besteht.

4 Terminologies and forms
Housing compensation
The housing compensation is a voluntarily given compensa-
tion for the scrap value (material value) of a compressor
returned to BITZER for inspection, if this machine stays at
BITZER after the inspection and no other form of compensa-
tion will be given (e.g. because of warranty). Housing com-
pensation is only possible for compressors max. 8 years old.
Directly after demounting from the refrigerating circuit the
compressor must be closed gas tight.
The shipment back to BITZER must be done freight prepaid,
if not, the cost for the freight will be deducted from the hous-
ing compensation. For compressors with a crack in the hous-
ing or water inside no credit note for the compressor body
will be given. The same is valid for hermetic and aluminium
compressors.
The amount of the credit note will be based on the actual net
price of the compressor without accessories. This is particu-
larly important for screw compressors and 2-stage
machines. The first mentioned will normally be sent for
inspection without kit for oil injection or in the case of the 2-
stage machines without kit for subcooling. When calculating
the amount for the credit note one has to take the price of
the new product minus kit for oil injection or liquid injection
respectively.
The credit note for the housing is just a voluntary payment,
made on a "Without Prejudice" basis.
Return of new BITZER products
As a sign of goodwill to the customer, BITZER can buy back
BITZER-products voluntarily. No legal claim exists. Buying
back products is limited to products, which
• are not older than two years
• are still currently existing in the BITZER product range
• are packed in the original packing
• have not been installed, mounted or used
If the products sent back are undamaged and faultless
BITZER compensates:
• 60% of the original purchase price for compressors, con-
densing units and pressure vessels
• 40% of the original purchase price for spare parts
If the BITZER quality department for incoming goods notices
damage or incomplete products, the compensation will be
deducted for the amount it takes to fix the damage or to
make the product complete.
Taking back of new BITZER Products is a voluntary service,
made on a "Without Prejudice" basis.

Transportschaden
Ein Transportschaden ist ein Schaden, der durch Verlust
oder Beschädigung des Gutes in der Zeit von der Übernah-
me zur Beförderung bis zur Ablieferung entsteht. Die Hand-
habe bei Transportschäden erfolgt nach dem deutschen
HGB. Transportschäden sind:
• umgehend beim Transportunternehmen geltend zu
machen und

Verdichter-Reparatur
Im Falle eines Schadens an einem Verdichter oder Aggregat
besteht die Möglichkeit den Defekt durch Reparatur zu behe-
ben. Je nach Ursache des Schadens werden die Kosten der
Reparatur von BITZER, vom Kunden oder anteilig von bei-
den getragen.
Kommt eine Reparatur in Betracht, dann wird dies und die
evtl. anfallenden Kosten, dem Kunden vorher mitgeteilt und
dessen Einverständnis zur Reparatur eingeholt. Die Möglich-
keit einer Reparatur von Verdichtern oder Aggregaten wird
nur in Betracht gezogen bei Geräten mit einem Alter von
maximal 5 Jahren.
Kulanzentscheidung
Im Falle eines defekten BITZER-Produktes kann BITZER,
wenn der Defekt nicht unter die Garantiebestimmungen fällt,
dem Kunden gegenüber Kulanz walten lassen. Wird von
BITZER eine Regelung auf Grund von Kulanz angeboten, so
ist es die freie Entscheidung von BITZER in welcher Form
die Kulanzleistung erbracht wird. Eine Kulanzleistung kann
z. B. als Sachleistung (Tausch eines Teiles oder des ganzen
Gerätes gegen neue oder gebrauchte Teile/Geräte) oder als
Erstattung des Kaufpreises oder eines Teiles davon erfolgen.
Eine Regelung auf Grund von Kulanz ist eine freiwillige
Leistung von BITZER, auf die keinerlei Anspruch besteht.
Garantieabgeltung
Auf Anfrage des Kunden bietet BITZER die Möglichkeit,
Lieferungen unter Ausschluss jeglicher Gewährleistung
anzubieten. Hierbei verzichtet der Kunde BITZER gegenüber
auf Garantieansprüche und erhält als Gegenleistung einen
Rabatt auf den Kaufpreis des Produktes. Die Abgeltungen
können für unterschiedliche Produktgruppen von BITZER,
wie z. B. verschiedene Verdichter-Bauarten, Druckbehälter,
Ersatzteile separat und auch unterschiedlich vereinbart wer-
den. Abgeltungen der Garantieansprüche müssen vertraglich
vereinbart werden.

Transport damage
Transport damage is the loss or damage of products during
transport (from the handover to the forwarder until unloading
at the destination). The regulation of transport damages will
be handled according to German Commercial Law (HGB).
Transport damages have to be
• notified promptly to the forwarder
• mentioned on the delivery note.
Transport damages are not subject to warranty regulations.

Repair of compressors or condensing units
For damaged compressors or condensing units, BITZER
offers to repair these products. Depending on the reason for
the damage, either BITZER, the customer or both on a pro-
rata basis shall bear the costs for the repair.
If a repair is being considered BITZER shall estimate the
cost and shall ask the customer for his approval. The repair
of products will be considered only if the products are less
than 5 years old.
Amiability / Gesture of Goodwill
Damage of a BITZER product which can not be treated with-
in the BITZER warranty regulation can be handled as a
"Gesture of Goodwill". No legal claim exists. If BITZER uses
the regulation "Gesture of Goodwill", it is BITZER's decision
which kind of compensation will be provided.
A "Gesture of Goodwill" can be for example a
• non-cash-benefit (replacement of a part or of the com-
plete unit against new or used parts/units) or a
• cash-benefit for compensating the purchase price com-
pletely or partially.
Warranty compensation
Upon customer's request, BITZER offers the possibility to
exclude any kind of responsibility for warranty. The customer
abandons the claim of warranty and therefore receives in
return a deduction of a certain percentage on the purchase
price of the product. Different product ranges e.g. compres-
sors, pressure vessels or condensing units can have differ-
ent warranty compensation percentages. The warranty com-
pensation has to be agreed upon per contract.
Aftersales
Werksgarantie
Auf Anfrage des Kunden bietet BITZER die Möglichkeit, für
bestimmte Produkte Lieferungen mit Werksgarantie anzubie-
ten – für eine vorher festzulegende Dauer (z. B. 12 Monate
ab Lieferdatum). Hierbei gewährt BITZER dem Kunden für
die betreffenden neuen Produkte kostenlosen Ersatz, sofern
die nachfolgend beschriebenen Punkte eingehalten wurden
bzw. vorliegen:
• Das zurückgesandte Produkt muss einschließlich
Motorschutzgerät (bei hermetischen bzw. halbhermeti-
schen Verdichtern), ungeöffnet, gasdicht verschlossen
und frachtfrei angeliefert werden.
• Der angelieferte Verdichter darf keine irreparablen
Gehäuseschäden aufweisen.
• Aus der BITZER-Werksgarantie ausgeschlossen sind
Schäden durch höhere Gewalt, wie Brand- und
Wasserschaden sowie Transportschäden.
Für die Erweiterung gegenüber der normalen Gewährleis-
tung ist ein Aufschlag auf den Kaufpreis des Produktes zu
entrichten.
Die Werksgarantie kann für unterschiedliche Produktgruppen
von BITZER, wie z. B. verschiedene Verdichterbauarten,
Druckbehälter, Ersatzteile separat und auch unterschiedlich
vereinbart werden.
Die Werksgarantie muss vertraglich vereinbart werden.
Aftersales
Full warranty
Upon customer's request, BITZER offers the possibility to
provide a full warranty for certain products over an agreed
time period (e. g. 12 months from date of delivery). For prod-
ucts with full warranty BITZER guarantees the free of charge
replacement of the product, even if BITZER is not responsi-
ble for the damage.
Excluded from full warranty replacement are damages
"Force Majeure" as fire or water damages, transport dam-
ages or pressure vessels damaged by frozen liquids. The fee
for the full warranty coverage will be added as a surcharge
on the purchase price of the product.
The full warranty can be agreed upon separately and also
differently for BITZER product groups, as e. g. different com-
pressor ranges, pressure vessels and spare parts. The full
warranty has to be agreed upon per contract and is bound
on the following additional conditions.
• After damage, the product must not be opened. It has to
be demounted from the circuit, immediately closed gas-
tight and sent to BITZER with all accessories (including
motor protection device for hermetic or semi hermetic
compressors) in a free of charge delivery.
• Compressors may not have irreparable housing damage.
• Products which have already been replaced once, based
on the regulations of full warranty, can not be replaced a
second time. These products are subject to standard war-
ranty regulations.
