In den vFundamentis nov. theor. funct. elliptic.^ habe ich gezeigt, dass die ellipti-
schen Functionen sin cp, cos cp, A. Briiche sind, deren Zahler und Nenner sich
durch die Transcendente 6 darstellen lassen, welche selber sich in die Reihe
l+2gcos2#+2S*cos4# + 229cos6# + etc- = 0
entwickeln lafst. Jeder Term dieser Reihe und daher die ganze Reihe selbst
geniigt der partiellen Differentialgleichung
