4 Montage-Anschluss-Anleitung 64 MG-Anzeigeterminal BUS-2
1. Allgemeines

(siehe Formel).
Beachten Sie VdS 2311 "Energieversorgung"!
- Versorgung über eine separate Zuleitung (z.B. U_ext. von der Zentrale)
Der Anschuss erfolgt an ST2. Zwischen ST5 und ST2 darf keine Drahtbrücke vorhanden sein.
(siehe 4. Anschlussplan)
Hinweis:
Stark störspannungsbehaftete Kabelschirme können zu Fehlfunktionen führen.
ACHTUNG
(bzw. Schutzleiter des eingebauten Netzteils) erfolgen.

Danger threatening to both humans and device in case of non-observance.
Safety notes
* Read this manual carefully and completely before installing and starting up the device. It contains important
instructions on installation, programming and operation.
* The device is designed to state-of-the-art technological standards. It should only be used
- correctly and
- in a technically perfect and correctly installed condition (in accordance with the technical data).
* The manufacturer is not responsible for damage resulting from incorrect use.
* Store product-related documentation and system-specific notes in a safe place.
* Installation, programming as well as maintenance and repair work should only be carried out by authorised,
skilled personnel.
* Soldering, connection and installation work within the overall system should only be realised in a deenergised
condition.
* Soldering work should only be realised with a soldering iron with temperature control which is galvanically
isolated from the mains power supply.
* Observe the German electrical standards and regulations of local electricity suppliers.
Do not use the system in an enviroment where there is a risk of explosion or in rooms with metal or
plastic decomposing vapours.
16 Mounting and Connection Instructions 64 DG Display Terminal BUS-2
1. General
The 64 DG display terminal enables the indication of the status of up to 64 detector groups.
The statuses "Alarm" (red LED) and "Detector group disabled” (yellow LED) can be indicated for each detector
group.
Actuation is via BUS-2.

Data Data
The BUS connection lead must be a shielded lead from the central control unit to the display terminal The cores
must be in accordance with the above mentioned diagram.
Refer to the Installation manual of the central control units (Chapter on Lines) for the corresponding line
cross-sections. Keep the shield connection as short as possible to avoid the risk of an unintentional short circuit.
Note:
The BUS-2 connection technology operates without end of line resistor. This means that no EOL resistor is
required at the last module of the BUS line or stub line.
- Supply via separate feed line (e.g. U_ext. from the central control unit).
Connection is made at ST2. (Do not connect ST5 with ST2, see 4. Connection diagram)
Observe the mounting and connection instructions of the power supply unit!
3.4 Shielding/grounding
The shielding / grounding can be adapted to the local conditions using the sheathed terminal MKL1 and the wire
jumpers DB2 to DB4.
In their state at the time of delivery, all wire jumpers are closed.
Note:
Cable shields that are subject to extreme interference voltage, can cause malfunctions.
IMPORTANT
Do not ground the housing via the cable shields and a separate ground terminal (and non-fused earth
conductor of the installed power supply unit) simultaneously.
