1. Sicherheitshinweise
Lesen Sie die Anleitung sorgfältig und vollständig durch, bevor Sie das Gerät installieren und in
Betrieb nehmen. Sie erhalten wichtige Hinweise zur Montage, Programmierung und Bedienung.
Das Gerät ist nach dem neuesten Stand der Technik gebaut. Benutzen Sie das Gerät nur:
- bestimmungsgemäß und
- in technisch einwandfreiem und ordnungsgemäß eingebautem Zustand
- gemäß den technischen Daten.
Der Hersteller haftet nicht für Schäden, die durch einen bestimmungswidrigen Gebrauch
verursacht werden.
Installation, Programmierung sowie Wartungs- und Reparaturarbeiten dürfen nur durch
autorisiertes Fachpersonal durchgeführt werden.
Löt- und Anschlußarbeiten innerhalb der gesamten Anlage sind nur im spannungslosem Zustand
vorzunehmen. Lötarbeiten dürfen nur mit einem temperaturgeregeltem, vom Netz galvanisch
getrennten Lötkolben vorgenommen werden.
VDE-Sicherheitsvorschriften sowie die Vorschriften des örtlichen EVU sind zu beachten.
Art.-Nr. 012575 Die Bedienerführung erfolgt ausschließlich über den Touchscreen. Erfolgt während der Bedienung
keine Eingabe mehr, wechselt der Bildschirm in den Grundzustand, und die
Hintergrundbeleuchtung wird entsprechend der programmierten Bedienzeit (in der Zentrale),
deaktiviert (dunkelgesteuert). Berühren Sie mit einem Finger die Bildschirmfläche, um die
Displaybeleuchtung wieder einzuschalten.

Das Display darf keiner direkten Sonneneinstrahlung
ausgesetzt sein - Die Lesbarkeit der 40° Einbautiefe
LED-Anzeige/Display wird sonst durch Blendwirkung stark min. 80 Millimeter
beeinträchtigt.
Beachten Sie den Blickwinkel des Displays beim Festlegen
der Montagehöhe.

Der Anschluß erfolgt über die im Lieferumfang beiliegenden steckbaren Schaubklemmen. Die BUS-2 Anschlußleitung und der Anschluß der ext. Spannungsversorgung müssen als

Die Verbindung vom Programmstecker zur seriellen Schnittstelle am PC erfolgt direkt über das
Nullmodem-Kabel (Art.-Nr. 026809).
Das Bedienteil wird automatisch nach dem Start des Flash-update Programms in den Update-
Modus geschaltet. Nach dem Flash-update ist am Bedienteil ein “Reset” durchzuführen. Dies
geschieht durch kurzzeitiges Abziehen der Spannungsversorgung.
Grundsätzlich wird empfohlen, die jeweils aktuelle Software Version in das Bedienteil zu
laden. Diese steht zum kostenlosen Download auf unserer Homepage zur Verfügung.
Sollte ein Update des Bedienteils notwendig werden, so ist die von Novar GmbH zu beziehende
Datei xxx. ROM in das Verzeichnis des Updateprogramms (CELoad.exe) zu kopieren.

Please read these instructions carefully and completely before installing and starting to work with
this unit. This manual contains important information on installation, programming and operation.
The unit has been built in accordance with state-of-the-art standards. Only use the unit:
- according to the designated use and
- in technically perfect and correctly installed condition
- according to the technical data.
The manufacturer cannot be held liable for damage resulting from use contrary to the designated
purpose.
Installation, programming, maintenance and repair works must be carried out only by authorized
trained persons.
Soldering and connecting works on the entire system may only be carried out when disconnected
from mains. Soldering works must only be performed with a temperature-regulated soldering iron
galvanicaly separated from the mains.
The safety regulations by VDE and the prescriptions of the local electricity supplier have to be
observed.

Comfort Touch Colour for BUS-2

Connection is via the plug-in screw terminal that is included in the scope of delivery. The BUS-2 connection lead and “Ext. Voltage supply” must be shielded leads. The shielding
should not be used as 0V feed lines.
The voltage supply of the Comfort Touch Colour must be provided by an
external current supply. It´s not allowed to supply the current via the BUS-2! Conductor length for “Ext. Voltage supply

The 0V connections of “Ext. Voltage supply” must not be connected to the 0V connection
terminals of the BUS-2!

Connection from the program plug to the serial interface at the PC is directly via the zero modem
cable (Item no. 026809).
The operating unit is automatically switched to the update mode after starting the flash update
program. Make a “Reset” at the operating unit after the flash update, by briefly disconnecting the
voltage supply.
In general it is recommended always to load the latest firmware version into the central
unit. You will find this as a free download in the download area of our homepage.
If the operating unit requre updating, copy the file xxx.ROM (that file can be acquired from Novar
GmbH) in the directory of the update program (CELoad.exe).
