New fire extinguishers are delivered to Local Fire Control Unit to be


inspected, commissioned, tagged, & numbered prior to service. GI-1781.001,

Contractor checked equipment on receipt & coordinates the storage Para 5.12.1
& preservation needed with Local Fire Control Unit.
REMARKS:

NOTES: 1. Storage, Handling & Preservation for new fire extinguishers is agreed upon early in the project. Prior to entering service, all new
fire extinguishers must be delivered to Local Fire Control Unit to be inspected (per GI-1781 supplemental checklists), commissioned, tagged,
and numbered per GI-1781.001, Section 5.12.1 Contractor checks equipment & mat'ls before their delivery to Saudi Aramco.
Storage, handling, preservation, & mixing of any extinguishing agents is approved by SA Fire Control Unit.
