Wheeled type extinguishers are checked during storage:
A) Visual checks to determine physical condition
of extinguishers. Components are free of
corrosion, deterioration & damage.
B) Visual check to determine if any leakage exists (gauges) GI-1781.001,

C) Visual check of tire condition & Supplement 1, 2
pressure as applicable D) Check of
environment (no direct sun, temperatures below 120°F)
Inspection tags are marked with date
of the inspection.

NOTES: 1. Storage, Handling & Preservation for new fire extinguishers is agreed upon early in the project. Prior to entering service, all new
fire extinguishers must be delivered to Local Fire Control Unit to be inspected (per GI-1781 supplemental checklists), commissioned, tagged,
and numbered per GI-1781.001, Section 5.12.1 Contractor checks equipment & mat'ls before their delivery to Saudi Aramco.
Storage, handling, preservation, & mixing of any extinguishing agents is approved by SA Fire Control Unit.
