Introduction
The classical field of line valves in power
plants includes globe and check valves in
size 1/ 2 2, sometimes up to 10. Gate and
swing check valves are designed for size
3 20 and above.
All HP-valves of Sempell design are manufactured of only forged steel due to high quality. Over the last couple of years die-forged
valves are made up to 12 size.
Because of continuous flow lines of this
material a higher quality could be offered.
Furthermore production costs could be reduced, nozzle weldings could be eliminated.
Cast steel would be used by Sempell mainly
in LP range with only few exceptions. This is
typical for gate and swing check valves.
Compared to HP design those products
show typical bolted bonnet with flat gasket,
but do not have pressure seal design features. Also in LP application globe and check
valves up to 2 size are made from forged
steel. Due to double certicates for material
all valves can be supplied according to PED
or ASME. NDE and final inspections, e.g.
pressure and leak-tests fulfill as well both
standards.
Large inventory guarantees market orientated delivery-times.

Einleitung
Das klassische Gebiet der Absperrarmaturen im Kraftwerksbau beinhaltet Absperrund Rckschlagventile von DN 10 50,
in manchen Fllen auch bis DN 250.
Schieber und Rckschlagklappen werden
von DN 65 500 und darber angeboten.
Alle HD-Armaturen des Hauses Sempell
werden aufgrund der gleich bleibend hohen
Qualitt aus Schmiedestahl gefertigt. ber
die Jahre hat sich das Gesenkschmieden bis
zu DN 300 durchgesetzt. Dies bedeutet
wegen des gleichmigen Faserverlaufs
eine weitere Anhebung der Produktqualitt.
Wegen der Vermeidung von Stutzenschweissungen konnten die Fertigungskosten weiter
gesenkt werden. Stahlguss wird von
Sempell fast ausschlielich im ND-Bereich
eingesetzt. Dies gilt insbesondere fr
Schieber und Rckschlagklappen. Im
Gegensatz zum Hochdruckbereich sind
diese Produkte nicht mit selbstdichtendem
Deckel sondern mit Flanschdeckel und
Flachdichtung versehen.
Absperr- und Rckschlagventile bis DN 50
sind auch hier aus Schmiedestahl gefertigt.
Aufgrund von Doppelbelegungen des Vormaterials kann Sempell alle Absperrarmaturen nach PED oder ASME anbieten. Dabei
werden ebenso die zerstrungsfreien Prfungen und Endabnahmen, wie Druck- und
Dichtheitsprfungen, der Regelwerke erfllt.
Die groe Lagerhaltigkeit garantiert marktgerechte Lieferzeiten.
