Normalux emergency lighting fittings
are manufactured according to the
European Norm UNE 60598.2.22. This
norm establishes the features that an
emergency lighting fitting should comply
with, as well as the tests that it should
undergo and the marking of the units.
Also, our Central Battery Systems are
manufactured according to the Norm
EN50171.
Different types
of emergency lighting fittings:
Self-contained unit.
Maintained or Non Maintained emergency
lighting luminaire, where all the components,
such as the battery, light source, control gear
and verification devices, in case there are any,
are contained within the luminaire or less than
one meter away from it.
Slave luminaire.
Luminaire connected to a central power supply
not contained in the luminarie itself.

Las luminarias de emergencia fabricadas
por NormaLux cumplen con la normativa
europea UNE EN 60598.2.22. En ella,
se establecen las requisitos técnicos
que debe cumplir una luminaria de
emergencia así como los ensayos a los
que se debe someter y el marcado que
siempre debe estar presente.
Del mismo modo, nuestros sistemas de
centrales de baterías están fabricados de
acuerdo a la normativa EN 50171.
Clasificación de luminarias
de emergencia:
Aparato autónomo.
Luminaria que proporciona alumbrado
de emergencia de tipo permanente o no
permanente, en la que todos los elementos,
tales como batería, lámpara, el conjunto de
mando y los dispositivos de verificación y
control, si existen, están contenidos dentro de
la luminaria o junto a ella (a menos de 1 metro).
Luminaria alimentada por fuente central.
Es aquella que está alimentada por un sistema
central no incorporado en la propia luminaria.

zentralen, nicht in der Notleuchte montierten,

is given by the unit.

From the manufacturing point of view, an
emergency lighting fitting should comply with
the Norm UNE EN 60598-2.22, and with
the Norms UNE 20.392 and UNE 20.062,
depending on if the luminaire is for fluorescent
or incandescent lamps, respectively.

lighting luminaire should be classified and

It ensures the location, correct identification
and use of the escape routes.
This type of emergency lighting should provide
at least 1 lux in the floor and in the axis of the
main escape routes.
Wherever there is an electrical box or any fire
safety device that requires a manual use, the
minimum illuminance should be 5 luxes.
Relation between the maximum and minimum
illuminance in the axis of the main escape
routes should be lower than 40.
Emergency escape lighting should be able
to work after the power supply failure for a
minimum of one hour, providing the requested
illuminance.
The route from any evacuation point to
a floor exit or a building exit should be
considered an evacuation route. All spaces
able to be occupied should be considered
as the start of an evacuation route, with the
exception of :
• Not public spaces in residential buildings.
• All the areas where the density does not
exceed of 1 person /5m2 with a total
surface no bigger than 50 square meters,
such as hotel rooms, hospital or houses,
offices, etc.

contra incendios que exijan utilización manual y
en los cuadros de distribución del alumbrado,
la iluminancia mínima será de 5 lux.
La relación entre la iluminancia máxima y la
mínima en el eje de los pasos principales será
menor de 40.
El alumbrado de evacuación deberá poder
funcionar, cuando se produzca el fallo de la
alimentación normal, como mínimo durante
una hora, proporcionando la iluminancia
prevista.
Se considera ruta de evacuación al
recorrido que conduce desde un origen de
evacuación hasta una salida de planta o
hasta una salida de edificio. Será origen de
la ruta de evacuación todo punto ocupable de
un edificio, exceptuando:
• El interior de las viviendas.
• En todo el recinto o conjunto de ellos en los
que la densidad de ocupación no exceda
de 1 persona/5 m2 y cuya superficie total
no exceda de 50 m2, como pueden ser las
habitaciones de hotel, residencia u hospital,
los despachos de oficinas, etc.

Beleuchtungsstärke entlang der Hauptwege darf
dabei 40 Lux nicht überschreiten.
Die Sicherheitsbeleuchtung für Rettungswege
muss sich bei einem Ausfall der normalen
Stromversorgung für mindestens eine Stunde mit
der vorgesehenen Beleuchtungsstärke einschalten.
Als Rettungsweg bezeichnet man den Verlauf
ab einem Evakuierungspunkt bis zum Etagen-
oder Gebäudeausgang. Als Evakuierungspunkt
gilt jeder im Gebäude betretbare Raum mit
folgender Ausnahme:
• Innenbereiche von Wohnungen.
• Im gesamten Raum oder allen Räumen, in
denen die Belegungsdichte 1 Person/5m² nicht
überschreitet und deren Gesamtfläche unter 50
m² beträgt, wie z. B. die Zimmer eines Hotels,
eines Wohnheimes, Büroräume, usw.

Anti panic lighting:
It is the part of the emergency lighting to avoid any risk or panic and to
provide an adecuate level of lighting, allowing people to locate, identify
and access the escape route, as well as identify obstacles.
Anti Panic lighting should provide a minimum horizontal illuminance of
0.5 lux in all considered space, from the floor up to 1 meter high.
Relation between maximum and minimum illuminance should be lower
than 40.
Anti Panic lighting should be able to work after the power supply failure
for a minimum of one hour, providing the requested illuminance.
High risk task areas lighting:
It is the part of the emergency lighting that should guarantee the safety
of the people working in potentially hazardous areas or that are working
in a dangerous enviroment. Should enable the workers to finish the job
with safety for them and for the people around them.
High risk task areas lighting should provide a minimum illuminance of
15 lux or at least 10% of the normal illuminance, whichever value is
higher.

Alumbrado de ambiente o antipánico:
Es la parte del alumbrado de seguridad
previsto para evitar todo riesgo de pánico
y proporcionar una iluminación ambiente
adecuada que permita a los ocupantes
identificar y acceder a las rutas de evacuación
e identificar obstáculos.
El alumbrado ambiente o antipánico debe
proporcionar una iluminancia horizontal mínima
de 0,5 lux en todo el espacio considerado,
desde el suelo hasta una altura de 1 m.
La relación entre la iluminancia máxima y la
mínima en todo el espacio considerado será
menor de 40.
El alumbrado ambiente o antipánico deberá
poder funcionar, cuando se produzca
el fallo de la alimentación normal, como
mínimo durante una hora, proporcionando la
iluminancia prevista.
Alumbrado de zonas de alto riesgo:
Es la parte del alumbrado de seguridad
previsto para garantizar la seguridad de
las personas ocupadas en actividades
potencialmente peligrosas o que trabajan en
un entorno peligroso. Permite la interrupción
de los trabajos con seguridad para el operador
y para los otros ocupantes del local.
El alumbrado de las zonas de alto riesgo debe
proporcionar una iluminancia mínima de 15 lux
o el 10% de la iluminancia normal, tomando
siempre el mayor de los valores.
La relación entre la iluminancia máxima y la
mínima en todo el espacio considerado será
menor de 10.
El alumbrado de las zonas de alto riesgo
deberá poder funcionar, cuando se produzca
el fallo de la alimentación normal, como
mínimo el tiempo necesario para abandonar la
actividad o zona de alto riesgo.

Tätigkeiten durchführen oder die in einer gefährlichen
Arbeitsumgebung tätig sind. Sie erlaubt eine sichere
Unterbrechung der Arbeiten für die Bediener und
sonstigen Personen, die sich in diesem Bereich aufhalten.
Die Sicherheitsbeleuchtung für Bereiche mit
besonderer Gefährdung muss eine Beleuchtungsstärke
von mindestens 15 Lux oder 10% der

periodically, as per the UNE EN 50172
regulation.
The drawings of the security lighting
installations must be supplied and stored.
These drawings must identify all the luminaires

updated with every significant change in the
installation.
There must be a logbook which will include all
the information related to routine inspections,
tests, defects and alterations in the installation.
The logbook must contain the following
information:
a. date of reception of the system, as well as
the certifications related to modifications;
b. date of every periodical inspection and
tests;
c. date and brief description of every
intervention, inspections and tests carried
out;
d. date and brief description of the faults and
corrective actions carried out;
e. date and brief description of every
modification carried out in the emergency
lighting installation;
f. in case that an automatical test device is
used, the main features and the description
of the operation work of the mentioned
device.

Al tratarse de un dispositivo de seguridad,
el mantenimiento del alumbrado de
emergencia debe realizarse
de manera exhaustiva y periódica
conforme a la norma UNE EN 50172.
Se deben suminsitrar y guardar en los locales
planos de la instalación de alumbrado de
seguridad. Dichos planos deben identificar
todas las luminarias y los componentes
principales y deben actualizarse con cada
cambio significativo en la instalación.
Se debe suminsitrar un libro de registro en el
que se incluirá la información relacionada con
las inspecciones rutinarias, los ensayos, los
defectos y las alteraciones de la instalación.
El libro de registro debe contener la siguiente
información:
a. fecha de recepción del sistema así
como las certificaciones relativas a las
modificaciones;
b. fecha de cada una de las inspecciones
periódicas y ensayos;
c. fecha y breve descripción de cada una de
las intervenciones, inspecciones y ensayos
realizados;
d. fecha y breve descripción de los defectos y
acciones correctoras realizadas;
e. fecha y breve descripción de cualquier
modificación realizada en la instalación de
alumbrado de emergencia;
f. si se utiliza un dispositivo automático de
ensayo, las características principales y la
descripción del modo de funcionamiento
de dicho dispositivo.

In den Räumen sind die entsprechenden
Installationspläne der Sicherheitsbeleuchtung

Änderung in der Anlage zu aktualisieren sind.
Ebenso ist ein Kontrollbuch zu führen, in dem
alle Informationen hinsichtlich der routinemäßigen
Überprüfungen, Tests, Mängel und Änderungen
der Anlage zu vermerken sind.
Das Kontrollbuch muss somit folgende Angaben
enthalten:
a. Empfangsdatum des Systems sowie die
Bescheinigungen über die durchgeführten
Änderungen;
b. Datum jeder regelmäßig durchgeführten
Überprüfung und jedes Tests;
c. Datum und kurze Beschreibung eines jeden
Eingriffes, Überprüfung und Tests;
d. Datum und kurze Beschreibung
der festgestellten Mängel sowie der
entsprechenden Korrekturmaßnahmen;
e. Datum und kurze Beschreibung für jede an

Änderung;

la autonomía del equipo es igual o
superior a la nominal. Realizar las
mismas comprobaciones que en el
ensayo mensual y pero durante toda
la autonomía asignada. Se deberá
anotar en el libro de registro la fecha
de ensayo y el resultado obtenido.
• Se recomienda asegurar que
el suministro eléctrico no se ha
interrumpido en las 24 horas
• Del mismo modo, se recomienda que
las pruebas comiencen a primera
hora del día para garantizar un
mínimo de carga durante la noche y
evitar que todos los equipos hagan la
prueba a la vez.

und einwandfrei funktionieren.
• Mindestens einmal jährlich überprüfen,
dass die Notlichtdauer dem
vorgegebenen Zeitwert entspricht
oder darüber liegt. Die gleichen
Überprüfungen durchführen, wie sie
bei der Monatsprüfung vorgeschrieben
sind, jedoch während der kompletten
Notlichtdauer. Anschließend im
Kontrollbuch das Prüfdatum sowie das
Ergebnis eintragen.
• Es wird empfohlen darauf zu achten,
Stunden vor dieser Überprüfung nicht
unterbrochen wird.
• Ebenso wird empfohlen, die Prüfungen
am Morgen zu beginnen, damit sich die
Notleuchten während der Nacht wieder
etwas aufladen können; desweiteren
sollen auch nicht alle Notleuchten
gleichzeitig geprüft werden.

C-NB PLUS IBPC IROUTING

The C-NB PLUS is
a device that can be installed in DIN rain (9 modules),
with touch screen (480 x 272 pixels) and dimensions
168 x 88 x 60 mm. Can control the emergency
lighting installation without having to use a PC. The
C-NB PLUS can control up to 62,500 emergency
lights. It provides detailed information about each
one of the luminaires installed. It Is possible to set
the time and date of the weekly test (lamp) and the
yearly test (duration). It includes a removable 2 Gb
MicroSd memory card to export the information of the
installation to a PC. The generated Information can
be managed from the “Reports Manager” program
(requires Microsoft Access). It is possible to control
the Maintained mode (switching on, switching off and
dimming*) of every connected luminaire compatible
with this operation mode.
*Dimming only available in the LED Maintained
emergency lights.

IETHBUSING
Makes it possible to connect the domotic line of emergency lighting to a
TCP/IP network (local network, Internet). This way, the whole emergency
lighting installation can be controlled from any computer connected to
the local network of the installation or from the Internet by means of a
web server. Protected by user/password. Does not require a fixed ID.
Fixation to DIN rail (6 modules). 230 Vac 50/60 Hz. It is recommended
that the IETHBUSING is connected to an UPS system to avoid losing
communication.
IBF-22
Power supply for network and bus fittings. Fixation to DIN rail (4
modules). Input 230 V, Output 12V DC, 5 VA. It is recommended to have
the IBF-22 connected to an UPS system.
ITRB
Device used to join the domotic bus to the wireless technology
emergency luminaires. Also used to join the domotic bus with the control
computer (through IBPC USBW).

Domotic installation control program. Manages the ITRB-LA

control of an intelligent emergency light installation
(compatible with the domotic version) in operation.
Provides real time information of all the incidences.
Date and time of the weekly and yearly test
programation (individually, globally or in groups).
Compatible with SCADA.
Radio link. Makes it possible the communication from different zones that
are further away or with any added difficulty from the construction point of
view. It does not communicate with wireless fittings, it communicates to
another radio link.

IPhone / IPad App
Makes it possible to control the domotic intelligent
ligths from an IPhone or an IPad. Requires that there is
a TCP/IP pathway installed (ref. IETHBUSING).
KNX Gateway
Gateway BUSING-KNX to interconnect emergency lights to a KNX
installation. Allows to control the fittings compatible with BUSing from a
KNX control point.DIN rail mounting (6 modules). 250 luminaires can be
connected to this device and controlled by a KNX compatible software.
230 Vac 50/60 Hz. Compatible with all the luminaire ranges (domotic
version). It is recommended to have the gateway connected to an UPS
system.

Permite el control de las luminarias de alumbrado de

quiere la instalación de una pasarela TCP/IP.

te Notleuchte. Es besteht die Möglichkeit, Uhrzeit und

Steuerzentrale ist mit einer herausnehmbaren 2 GB Mi-
croSd Speicherkarte ausgestattet, um die Anlagendaten
auf einen PC zu exportieren. Die aufgezeichneten Da-
ten können dann mit der Software “Reports Manager”
bearbeitet werden (erfordert Microsoft Access). Jede
angeschlossene und mit dieser Betriebsart kompatible
Notleuchte lässt sich damit permanent kontrollieren

trombeleuchtung an ein TCP/IP-Netz (lokales Netzwerk, Internet). Damit ist
es möglich, die Notbeleuchtungsanlage von jedem beliebigen, an das lokale
Netzwerk angeschlossenen PC oder aber online über einen Webserver zu
kontrollieren. Nutzer- und passwortgeschützt. Hutschienenbefestigung, 6
Teilungseinheiten. Spannungsversorgung 230 VAC, 50/60 Hz. Es empfiehlt
sich der Anschluss einer USV (unterbrechungsfreie Stromversorgung) zur
Vermeidung einer Kommunikationsunterbrechung.
IBF-22
Netzteil für Netzwerkgeräte und den Bus. Eingang 230 VAC, Ausgang 12
VDC. Hutschienenbefestigung (4 Teilungseinheiten). Es empfiehlt sich der
Anschluss einer USV (unterbrechungsfreie Stromversorgung) zur Vermei-
dung einer Kommunikationsunterbrechung.
ITRB
Drahtlose Verbindungsstelle. Ermöglicht die Kommunikation zwischen dra-
htlosen Geräten und das verkabelte Gebäudenetzwerk.

Steuersoftware NORMALUX ITRB-LA

Steuerprogramm für Gebäudeanlagen. Regelt die Kon-
trolle einer intelligenten (mit der Gebäudenetzwerk-Ver-
sion kompatiblen) und im Betrieb befindlichen Notbe-
leuchtungsanlage. Es informiert in Echtzeit über alle
auftretenden Vorfälle. Programmierung des Datums
und der Uhrzeit der Wochen- und Jahrestests (sowohl
einzeln, als auch gruppenweise oder gesamt). Kompa-
tibel mit SCADA.
IPhone / IPad App
Erlaubt die Kontrolle intelligenter Notleuchten von einem
iPhone oder iPad aus. Erfordert die Installation eines
TCP/IP-Gateways. (Ref. IETHBUSING).
Drahtlose Hochleistungs-Verbindungsstelle. Ermöglicht die drahtlose Kom-
munikation zwischen weiter entfernten oder in bautechnischer Hinsicht
komplexen Bereichen. Dieses Gerät funktioniert nicht mit funkgesteuerten
Notleuchten, sondern nur mit einer anderen drahtlosen Hochleistungs-Ver-
bindungsstelle.
KNX-Gateway
KNX-Gateway für Notleuchten. Er ermöglicht den Anschluss von BU-
Sing-kompatiblen Notleuchten an eine KNX-Kontrollstelle. Dieses Gateway
hat einen Eingang, an dem 250 Notleuchten direkt angeschlossen und über
eine KNX-kompatible Software gesteuert werden können. Hutschienenbe-
