Unterschiedliche Handhabung der Verstellschritte für den

Vergrößerungswechsler der IOLMaster Geräte mit
Windows 95/98/XP.
Kalibrierung der Laserleistung IOLMaster / XP
Die Höhe der messbaren Laserleistung am Ausgang des Messkopfes ist abhängig von der
Position des Interferometers.
Die Kalibrierung der Laserleistung für 40µW und 400µW soll in der Interferometer Position
durchgeführt werden, in der die höhere Laserleistung am Ausgang gemessen werden kann.

Das Interferometer kann mit dem Serviceprogramm in die obere oder untere Position bewegt
werden.
Die Kalibrierung der Laserleistung erfolgt nach den Angaben im Servicemanual.

Toleranzprobleme in Zusammenhang mit dem Monitorsignal und daraus resultierende

Fehlermeldungen können dadurch minimiert werden.

Die für die Programmausführung benötigen Wechslerschritte befinden sich in der
Datei system.ini, Verzeichnis C:\windows\system.ini (z. B. wsteps 295).
Eine Kopie dieser Wechslerschritte befindet sich im EEPROM der Steuerungsplatine im Messkopf.
Die wsteps können in der system.ini durch Überschreiben des bestehenden Wertes geändert
werden.
Die Kalibrierwerte für die unterschiedlichen Messungen befinden sich im EEPROM der
Steuerungsplatine im Messkopf. Eine Kopie dieser Kalibrierwerte befindet sich in der
Datei iol.ini, Verzeichnis C:\IOLMaster\iol.ini.

“Registry“ unter c:\windows\regedit.exe in dem Pfad:
HOTKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CURRENTCONTROLSET
\SERVICES\IOLMXPgif\Parameters\WSTEPS (z. B. wsteps 295).

Die Kalibrierwerte für die unterschiedlichen Messungen befinden sich im EEPROM der
Steuerungsplatine im Messkopf. Eine Kopie dieser Kalibrierwerte befindet sich in der
Datei iol.ini, Verzeichnis D:\IOLMaster\iol.ini.

Hinweis: Sind im Fehlerfall keine Daten im EEPROM (neue Leiterplatte!) und/oder die Festplatte
wurde getauscht, sind diese Daten unter Angabe der Seriennummer über Meditec
Service Jena zu erhalten. Die Daten können auch durch eine neue Kalibrierung selbst
ermittelt werden (Service Manual IOLMaster XP).
Es ist darauf zu achten, dass nach einer Instandsetzung eine Kopie der Kalibrierdaten in
die Datei iol.ini erstellt wird. Siehe hierzu auch Bulletin 321.
Die Wechslerschritte werden durch die Übernahme der Schritte im
Servicemenü/PIO/Motors/Changer - NEW gespeichert und als Kopie an die
entsprechende Stelle gespeichert. Im Feld NEW muss der aktuelle Wert für die
Wechslerschritte sichtbar sein. Ist dies nicht der Fall, so ist der Wechsler in die
Übersichtsposition zu fahren. Siehe hierzu auch das Servicemanual und Bulletin 382.

Calibrate laser power IOLMaster / XP

The amount of measurable laser power at the output of the measuring head depends on the
position of the interferometer.
The laser power at 40µW and 400 µW should be calibrated in the interferometer position in which
the higher laser power can be measured at the output.

In the service program, the interferometer can be moved to the upper and lower position.
Calibration of the laser power is performed in accordance with the specifications in the service
manual.

This enables minimization of tolerance problems concerning the motor signal and resulting error
messages.

The changer steps required for program execution are contained in the system.ini file in the
C:\windows\system.ini directory (e.g. wsteps 295).
A copy of these changer steps is contained in the EEPROM of the control PCB in the measuring
head.
The wsteps can be changed in the system.ini file by overwriting the existing values.
The calibration values for the different measurements are contained in the EEPROM of the control
PCB in the measuring head. A copy of these calibration values is contained in the iol.ini file in the
C:\IOLMaster\iol.ini directory.

Note: If the EEPROM does not contain any data (new PCB!) and/or if the hard disk was
replaced, you can obtain the respective data from Meditec Service Jena; please specify
the serial number in your request. You can also determine the data yourself by making a
new calibration (IOLMaster XP Service Manual)
Make sure to copy the calibration data to the iol.ini file after a repair. For more
information, see also Bulletin 321.
In the PIO/Motors Changer service menu, the changer steps (wsteps) are saved to the
EEPROM and the system.ini or system.registry files after activation of the "SET"
function. The current value for the changer steps must be visible in the NEW field. If this
is not the case, the changer must be moved to the overview position. Please also see
the relevant service manual and Bulletin 382.
