Austausch Festplatte
Beim Austausch der Festplatte sollte auch gleichzeitig die Verteilerplatine 1033-561 mit getauscht
werden, falls diese nicht schon mit zwei Siebkondensatoren von je 1000 µF bestückt ist. Hat der Sieb-
kondensator für die +12 V Versorgung nur 470 µF, besteht wegen der höheren Stromaufnahme der
neuen Festplatte die Gefahr, dass diese nicht richtig hochläuft.

Austausch des LC Display

Nach dem Austausch des LC Displays können anschliessend Ausfälle (Synchronisations- und Farb-
fehler) des Displays auftreten. In diesem Fall ist meistens die geladene BIOS-Version nicht kompatibel
zum neuen Display. In diesem Fall muss die neue BIOS-Version d8005 geladen werden. Nach dem
Laden des neuen BIOS müssen die neuen Einstellungen im BIOS-Setup mit ”LOAD SETUP DE-
FAULTS” und ”SAVE & EXIT SETUP” geladen und gespeichert werden.

Replacement of Hard Disk

When replacing the hard disk, distributor PCB 1033-561 should be replaced along with the hard disk if
it does not have already two 1000 µF filter capacitors. If the filter capacitor for the +12 V supply has a
rating of 470 µF, the hard disk may fail to boot correctly due to the higher current consumption of the
new hard disk.

Replacement of LC Display
Synchronization failures and color defects may occur in the display after the LCD is replaced. This is
most likely due to the fact that an incompatible BIOS version has been installed. In this case, load the
new version of the BIOS, d8005. After loading the BIOS, activate and store the new settings with ”LOAD
SETUP DEFAULTS” and ”SAVE & EXIT SETUP” in the BIOS setup.
