Transport, Storage and Dimensions of wooden drums
Transport and storage of cable drums The cable drums have to be transported and stored in an upright position, standing on the flanges. Transport with fork lifts The cable drums must always be placed crosswise on the forks of the fork lift. Moving manually When moving the cable drums manually, they may be rolled only in the direction indicated by the arrow on the side of the drum. Winding small coils from the drum The cable-printing must be on the outside of the coil. While winding, a cardboard core ( = 25 x cable thickness) has to be placed at the centre of the coil. Handling of cable coils The cable coils should be bound with four plastic bands (approx. 15mm in width). The coils should lie flat. By transport and storage of multiple cable coils, dividing layers should always be placed between the coils.

Transport und Lagerung von Kabeltrommeln Die Kabeltrommeln sind auf dem Flansch stehend zu transportieren und zu lagern. Transport mit Gabelstaplern Die Kabeltrommeln mssen immer quer auf den Gabeln des Staplers platziert werden. Manuelles Handling Beim manuellen Handling von Kabeltrommeln drfen diese nur in die auf der Trommelseite angegebenen Pfeilrichtung bewegt werden. Umwickeln zu kleineren Ringen Der Kabelaufdruck muss an der Rollenauenseite sein. Beim Umwickeln muss ein Kartonkern ( = 25 x Kabeldicke) in der Ringmitte platziert werden. Handling von Kabelringen Die Kabelringe sollten mit vier Plastikbndern gebunden werden (Breite ca.15mm). Die Ringe sollten flach liegen. Bei Transport und Lagerung von mehreren Kabelringen muss eine Trennlage zwischen den einzelnen Ringen verwendet werden.
