RABBANA WA 'ILAYKA-L-MASIR 0 :
The Messenger believes In what was sent down to him from bis Lord, and the
believers [also]. All of them secun,ly believe In Allah and His angels and His
books and His messengers. We make no distinction between any one of His
messengers. lbey [each] say, "We hear and we obey. Grant us forgiveness,
our Lord, and unto You is the final destination."

286 LA YUKALLIFU-LLAHU NAFSAN 'ILLA WUS' AHA;

LAHA MA KASABATWA 'ALAYHA MA-K-TASABAT;
RABBANA LA TU'AKhlDhNM 'IN-NASINM 1>+:
Allib does not burden any ~u.l e;ccpt with what it can bear. To its account is
what it has merited [by way of goodness], and against It what it has earned [by
way of the evil it did] . ..Our Lord, do not condemn us if we forget (a+ next

03 NAZZALA 'ALAYKA-L-KITABA Bl-L-l:IAQQI MUSADDIQAL-

LJ-MA BAYNA YADAYHI WA 'ANZALA-T-TQWRATA WA-L-

He sent down upon you the Book setting forth the Truth and confirming what
had [been revealed] before ii, and He sent down the Torah (Tawnil) and the
Evangel ('l•J'il) -

04 MIN QABaLU HUDAL-LI-N-NASI WA 'ANZALA-L-FURQAN ;

' INNA-L-LADIJINA KAFARO Bi-'AYATI-LLAHI LA-HUM
'ADbABUN SbADIDa; WA-LLAHU 'AZIZUN DbU-N-TIQAM O
from before, as guidance to the people, and He sent down the Criterion [in the
fonn of the Qur'<io]. Surely, those who cover up [the Truth] of the Signs of
Allih shall suffer terribly. And Allih is Almighty, the Avenger of Evil.
