1 Sicherheitshinweise
• Lesen Sie vor der Inbetriebnahme des Gerätes die Produktbeschreibung. Ver-
gewissern Sie sich, dass sich das Produkt uneingeschränkt für die betreffenden
Applikationen eignet.
• Das Gerät entspricht den einschlägigen Vorschriften und EU-Richtlinien.
• Unsachgemäßer oder nicht bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch können zu
Funktionsstörungen des Gerätes oder zu unerwünschten Auswirkungen in Ihrer
Applikation führen.
• Deshalb dürfen Montage, elektrischer Anschluss, Inbetriebnahme, Bedienung
und Wartung des Gerätes nur durchgeführt werden durch ausgebildetes, vom
Anlagenbetreiber autorisiertes Fachpersonal.

2 Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Der Schwingungstransmitter erfasst die Schwingung des Systems (gemessene/
ausgewertete physikalische Einheit = Schwinggeschwindigkeit). Diese wird in ein
Analogsignal am Stromausgang umgewandelt.

3 Montage
►► Montage nur in massiver Gehäuse-
wand (z.B. Transportgewinde).
►► Auf korrekte Signalrichtung achten.
►► Auf sichere Schwingungsübertra-
gung achten und keine elastischen
Zwischenschichten zulassen.

►► Gewindestift ¼"-28 UNF / M8 (2)
oder Gewindestift ¼"-28 UNF (3)
in den Gewindeanschluss (1) des
Geräts einschrauben. Die Gewinde-
stifte werden mitgeliefert.
►► Mit Innensechskantschlüssel 3 mm
festziehen. Anzugsdrehmoment
8 Nm. DE
►► An der Montagestelle eine Gewin-
debohrung einrichten:
-- Bohrung M8 / Tiefe min. 10 mm
für Gewindestift ¼"-28 UNF/ M8.
-- Oder Bohrung ¼"-UNF / Tiefe min.
13 mm für Gewindestift
¼"-28 UNF.
►► Gerät mit einem Anzugsdrehmoment von 8 Nm fest anschrauben.

4 Elektrischer Anschluss
Das Gerät darf nur von einer Elektrofachkraft installiert werden. Befolgen
Sie die nationalen und internationalen Vorschriften zur Errichtung elektro-
technischer Anlagen.

Der Betrieb des Gerätes ist wartungsfrei. Eine Instandsetzung des Gerätes ist
nicht möglich. Entsorgen Sie das Gerät nach Gebrauch umweltgerecht gemäß
den gültigen nationalen Bestimmungen.

2 Functions and features

The vibration transmitter detects the vibration in the system (measured / evaluated
physical unit = vibration velocity). This is converted into an analogue signal at the
current output.

3 Installation
►► Mount only in a thick housing wall
(e.g. transport thread).
►► Ensure that the signal direction is
correct.
►► Ensure a safe vibration transmissi-
on and allow no elastic intermediate
layers.

►► Select either the ¼“-28 UNF / M8
(2) or the ¼“-28 UNF (3) threaded
adapter and insert into the unit (1).
Both adapters are supplied.
►► Tighten using a 3 mm Allen key.
Tightening torque 8 Nm.
►► Drill and tap a hole at the mounting
location:
-- M8 hole / depth min. 10 mm
-- or ¼“ UNF hole / depth min. UK
13 mm.

►► Tighten the sensor with a tightening torque of 8 Nm.

4 Electrical connection
The unit must be connected by a qualified electrician. The national and
international regulations for the installation of electrical equipment must be
adhered to.

6 Maintenance, repair, disposal

The operation of the unit is maintenance-free. It is not possible to repair the unit.
After use dispose of the unit in an environmentally friendly way in accordance with
the applicable national regulations.

2 Fonctionnement et caractéristiques
Le transmetteur de vibration détecte les vibrations dans un système (unité
physique mesurée / évaluée = vitesse de vibration). Celles-ci sont converties en
un signal analogique sur la sortie courant.

3 Montage
►► Montage seulement sur support
massif (par ex. taraudage pour le
levage).
►► S‘assurer de la direction correcte
des signaux.
►► S‘assurer d‘une transmission sûre
des vibrations et éviter des couches
intermédiaires élastiques.

►► La vis sans tête filetée ¼“-28 UNF /
M8 (2) ou la vis sans tête filetée ¼“-
28 UNF (3) peuvent se visser dans
le taraudage (1) de l‘appareil. Les
deux vis sans tête sont fournies.
►► Les serrer à l‘aide d‘une clé Allen
3 mm. Couple de serrage 8 Nm.
►► Percer et tarauder à l‘emplacement
prévu pour le montage :
-- Taraudage M8 / profondeur min.
10 mm pour la vis sans tête filetée
M8. FR
-- Ou un taraudage ¼“ UNF / profon-
deur min. 13 mm pour la vis sans
tête filetée ¼“ UNF.
►► Visser l‘appareil avec un couple de serrage de 8 Nm.

4 Raccordement électrique
L'appareil doit être monté par un électricien qualifié. Les règlements
nationaux et internationaux relatifs à l'installation de matériel électrique
doivent être respectés.
