• When using the Transfer Kit with the Fixator for the first time, the upper and lower
scans must be allocated with the manual 3 Point Method.
After this manual allocation, all future models will be aligned automatically. The
manual method can be repeated if necessary.
The models designated for the first 3 Point allocation process should have
sufficient intercuspidation and support so that the allocation is a success!
• First the models must be articulated in the Artex CR articulator with plaster.
• Make 3 marks in the model using a small bur (recommended)
22.04.2010 10/1
1. Patientenfall für OK /UK anlegen
Create a patient case in the upper and lower illustration selecting the type of antagonist
“Artex CR“ or “registered jaw“.
The maxilla is positioned with the relevant distance plate (0,1, 2 or 1+2)
22.04.2010 10/2
Carry out the 2D scan, select distance plate number and complete jaw.
Then adapt the scanned area and start the 3D Scan with “continue”.
Carry out the maxilla complete scan and if necessary re-scan and follow the software
instructions.
22.04.2010 10/3
Place the lower model with the fitted
distance plate into the scanner.
Carry out the 2D and 3D scan of the lower model using the same method.
Next place both models into the Fixator and then insert into the scanner and carry out a
vestibular scan. Follow the software instructions.
The hinged upper part of the Fixator must not be placed into the scanner in an un-fixed
state!
22.04.2010 10/4
The software asks for the 3 Point allocation. Confirm with “OK”.

Use the Del key to delete the last placed point.
22.04.2010 10/6
The mandible is allocated. Select “Weiter” (“continue”) to start the maxillary allocation.
If the allocation is incorrect, this process may be repeated using the key.
The arches have only been roughly allocated! Small discrepancies are tolerable and
will be corrected in the matching process! The more accurately the points are set, the
more accurate the allocation!
22.04.2010 10/7
The maxilla is allocated. Start the entire allocation process by selecting
“continue”.
After the allocation of both arches, the results are finished by selecting “continue”.

scanner !

[IT] _ MANUALE ARTEX FIXATOR - ALLINEAMENTO SU 3 PUNTI

punti, tanto piu esatto è l'allineamento!
