SMONTAGGIO
- Mettere il martinetto in una morsa dotata
di copriganasce.
- Stringere moderatamente il martinetto per
evitare di deformare il corpo.
- Sbloccare la ghiera di chiusura “B” (Fig.
1) con una chiave a pioli.
- In caso di difficoltà nello sbloccare la
ghiera, si prega di consultare il para-
grafo "SMONTAGGIO" al capitolo
“Applicazione del frenafiletti”.
- Svitare completamante la ghiera di chiu-
sura “B” (Fig. 1).
- Estrarre lo stelo completo dal corpo del
martinetto.
NOTA: PER MARTINETTI DI GRANDE
LUNGHEZZA.
- Estrarre lo stelo per un massimo di 200
mm.
- Svitare la ghiera di chiusura di un mezzo
giro (Operazione da eseguire gradual-
mente, senza scosse).
- Estrarre lo stelo per circa 2500 mm.
- Sostenere lo stelo dall’estremità per evi-
tare sforzi sulla ghiera di chiusura
(Fig. 2).
- Continuare a svitare la ghiera di chiusu-
ra. Se lo sforzo è troppo grande, solle-
vare e poi abbassare lo stelo per dimi-
muire l’attrito.
Non forzare mai per svitare: rischio di
grippaggio.
CONTROLLO
- Togliere il grasso e pulire l’interno del
martinetto.
- Controllare visivamente che il corpo del
martinetto sia privo di rigature, bave,
ossidazione…
RIMONTAGGIO
- Applicare olio idraulico sulle guarnizioni
del pistone per mezzo di un pennello.
- Rimontare lo stelo completo nel corpo del
martinetto “C” (Fig. 1).
- Fare attenzione a non rovinare le guarni-
zioni quando si passa sulla maschiatura
del corpo del martinetto.
- Applicare olio idraulico sulle guarnizioni
esterne della ghiera di chiusura.
- Applicare il frenafiletti Loctite 222 (Vedere
capitolo “Applicazione del frenafiletti”)
sulla ghiera di chiusura (Fig. 3).
- Avvitare la ghiera.
- Bloccare con una chiave a pioli e con
una chiave dinamometrica alla coppia di
serraggio indicata (Fig. 4).
- Fare compiere un giro allo stelo per
consentire il posizionamento delle
guarnizioni.
NOTA
- Si consiglia di provare il martinetto
idraulicamente prima di rimontarlo sulla
macchina.
- Effettuare alcune uscite e rientri dello
stelo.

REMOVAL AND REASSEMBLY OF
THE COMPLETE STEM
REMOVAL
- Place the cylinder in a vice fitted with
false jaws.
- Tighten the vice, ensuring that the body
does not get distorted.
- Free locking ring B (Fig. 1) using a span-
ner wrench.
- If you find it difficult to free the ring, see
subsection "REMOVAL" in section
“APPLICATION OF THE THREAD
LOCKING MATERIAL”.
- Completely unscrew locking ring B (Fig. 1).
- Extract the complete stem from the cylin-
der body.
NOTE : VERY LONG CYLINDERS
- Take out the stem over 200 mm maxi-
mum.
- Give a half turn to the locking ring to
loosen it (very slowly and evenly).
- Take out the stem by about 2500 mm.
- Support the stem end to prevent it from
weighing on the locking ring (Fig. 2).
- Carry on unscrewing the locking ring. If
the effort is excessive, lift and lower the
stem to reduce the friction.
Never force the ring when unscrewing it
as this could cause it to seize.
INSPECTION
- Degrease and clean the cylinder
chamber.
- Visually inspect the cylinder chamber,
there should be no scratches, burrs, oxi-
disation, etc...
REASSEMBLY
- Apply hydraulic oil on the piston seals
and ring, using a brush.
- Reassemble the complete stem inside
cylinder body C (Fig. 1).
- Ensure that the seals are not damaged
while passing through the inside thread
in the cylinder body.
- Apply hydraulic oil to the outside seals on
the locking ring.
- Apply Loctite 222 (See section “APPLI-
CATION OF THE THREAD LOCKING
MATERIAL”) on the locking ring (Fig. 3).
- Screw the ring in.
- Block using a spanner wrench and a
torque wrench, see table for the tighten-
ing torque (Fig. 4).
- Give one turn to the screw to ensure that
the seals are correctly positioned.
REMARK
- We advise completing a hydraulic test of
the cylinder before reassembling it on
the machine.
- Operate the stem several times in both
directions.

AUSBAU
- Den Zylinder in einen Schraubstock mit
Backenschutz stecken.
- Den Zylinder vorsichtig einspannen,
damit sein Körper nicht verformt wird.
- Die Verschlussmutter “B” (Abb. 1) mit
einem Stirnlochschlüssel freigeben.
- Sollte das Freigeben der Ringmutter
Schwierigkeiten machen, im Abschnitt
"AUSBAU" des Kapitels “Anbringung der
Schraubensicherung” nachlesen.
- Die Verschlussmutter ganz losdrehen “B”
(Abb. 1).
- Den Schaft ganz aus dem Gehäuse des
Zylinders herausziehen.
ANM.: ZYLINDER MIT GROSSER LÄNGE.
- Den Schaft maximal um 200 mm heraus-
ziehen.
- Die Verschlussmutter um eine halbe
Umdrehung lockern (allmählich und
ruckfrei drehen).
- Den Schaft um circa 2500 mm herauszie-
hen.
- Den Schaft am Ende festhalten, um
Belastung der Verschlussmutter zu ver-
meiden (Abb. 2).
- Die Verschlussmutter weiter abdrehen.
Bei zu hoher Belastung den Schaft
heben und dann senken, um die
Reibung zu verringern.
Das Losschrauben nicht erzwingen:
Festfressgefahr.
KONTROLLE
- Das Fett entfernen und den Zylinder
innen reinigen.
- Sichtprüfung ausführen, dass das
Zylindergehäuse keine Rillen, Grate,
Roststellen aufweist.
WIEDEEINBAU
- Mit einem Pinsel hydraulisches Öl auf die
Kolbenringe auftragen.
- Den Schaft ganz in das Zylindergehäuse
“C” einfahren lassen (Abb. 1).
- Darauf achten, dass die Kolbenringe
nicht beschädigt werden, wenn man
über die Gewindebohrung auf dem
Zylindergehäuse gelangt.
- Auf die Außendichtungen der
Verschlussmutter hydraulisches
Öl auftragen.
- Die Schraubenicherung Loctite 222
(siehe Kapitel “Anbringung der
Schraubensicherung”) auf die
Verschlussmutter auftragen (Abb. 3).
- Die Ringmutter anschrauben.
- Mit einem Stirnlochschlüssel blockieren
und mit einem Drehmomentschlüssel
zum angegebenen Anzugsmoment
anziehen (Abb. 4).
- Den Schaft eine Umdrehung ausführen
lassen, damit die Kolbenringe richtig
einrasten.
ANMERKUNG
- Bevor man den Hydraulikzylinder wieder
auf der Maschine einbaut, sollte er
getestet werden.
- Den Schaft verschiedene Male ein- und
ausfahren.

SMONTAGGIO
- Mettere lo stelo in una morsa dotata di
copriganasce.
- Stringere per evitare la rotazione del
gruppo.
- Sbloccare il dado “D” (Fig. 1) e svitarlo
completamente per mezzo di una chiave
poligonale oppure, a seconda della ver-
sione, rimuovere la vite a spillo “E” (Fig.
1) con l’ausilio di una chiave esagonale.
- Smontare il pistone “C” (Fig. 2) tirandolo
manualmente oppure, secondo la ver-
sione, svitando il pistone “F” (Fig. 1) con
l’ausilio di una chiave a pioli.
- Smontare la ghiera “B” (Fig. 3) facendola
scorrere lungo lo stelo.
CONTROLLO
- Con l’ausilio di un comparatore, controlla-
re la linearità dello stelo su tutta la lun-
ghezza (Fig. 4).
- Controllare che lo stelo non sia sbreccia-
to, corroso o rigato.
RIMONTAGGIO
- Rimontare la ghiera “B” (Fig. 5) sullo
stelo “A” (Fig. 5).
- Rimontare il pistone “C” (Fig. 1) sullo
stelo.
- Avvitare e bloccare il dado “D” (Fig. 1)
con una chiave poligonale e una chiave
dinamometrica alla coppia di serraggio
indicata (Fig. 6) oppure, a seconda della
versione, riavvitare il pistone “F” (Fig. 1)
con una chiave a pioli (vedere coppia di
serraggio Fig. 6) e bloccarlo con una
vite a spillo “E” (Fig. 1).
NOTA:
- Il montaggio della vite a spillo deve
essere eseguito applicando loctite
243, vedere capitolo “Applicazione del
frenafiletti”.
- Coppia di serraggio della vite = 20 Nm.
- Dare un colpo di scalpello per ricaccia-
re il metallo sulla vite.

REMOVAL
- Place the stem in a vice fitted with false
jaws.
- Tighten so as to stop it turning.
- Loosen nut D (Fig. 1) and unscrew it
completely
using a box wrench. Or, depending on
the version, remove locking screw 6
(Fig. 1) using a hexagonal wrench.
NOTE : Locking ring E (Fig. 1) is fitted
usingLoctite, then blocked by striking it
with achisel.
- Remove piston C (Fig. 2) by pulling it out
manually or, depending on the version,
by unscrewing piston F (Fig. 1) using a
hook wrench.
- Remove locking ring B (Fig. 3) by sliding
it alongthe stem.
INSPECTION
- Check that the stem is straight over its
whole length, using a comparator (Fig.
4).
- Check that the stem is not scaling, cor-
roded or scratched.
REASSEMBLY
- Reassemble locking ring B (Fig. 5) on
stem A (Fig. 5).
- Reassemble piston C (Fig. 1) on the
stem.
- Screw and lock nut D (Fig. 1) using a box
wrench and a torque wrench. See the
table for the tightening torque (Fig. 6).
Or, depending on the version, screw pis-
ton F (Fig. 1) using a spanner wrench
(see tightening torque Fig. 6) and block
it with locking screw E (Fig. 1).
NOTE :
- The locking screw should be fitted
using Loctite 243, see section E.
- Tightening torque for the screw : 20 Nm.
- Strike with a chisel to drive the screw
into the metal.

- Den Schaft in einen Schraubstock mit
Backenschutz stecken.
- Anziehen, um die Rotation der Gruppe zu
vermeiden.
- Die Mutter “D” (Abb. 1) freigeben und sie
mit einem Ringschlüssel ganz los-
schrauben oder, je nach der Version, die
Nadelschraube “E” (Abb. 1) mit einem
Sechskantschlüssel entfernen.
- Den Kolben “C” (Abb. 2) ausbauen,
indem man ihn von Hand herauszieht
oder, je nach Version,den Kolben “F”
(Abb. 1) mit einem Stirnlochschlüssel
losschrauben.
- Die Ringmutter “B” (Abb. 3) ausbauen,
indem man sie auf dem Schaft gleiten
lässt.
KONTROLLE
- Mit Hilfe einer Meßuhr den Schaft auf der
gesamten Länge auf Linearität prüfen
(Abb. 4).
- Sicherstellen, dass der Schaft nicht
abbröckelt, Korrosion oder Rillen auf-
weist.
WIEDEREINBAU
- Die Ringmutter “B” (Abb. 5) auf den
Schaft “A” (Abb. 5) montieren.
- Den Kolben “C” (Abb. 1) wieder auf den
Schaft montieren.
- Die Mutter “D” (Abb. 1) mit einem
Ringschlüssel anziehen und mit einem
Drehmomentschlüssel beim angegebe-
nen Anzugsmoment anziehen (Abb. 6)
oder je nach der Version den Kolben
“F” (Abb. 1) mit einem Stirnlochschlüssel
(siehe Anzugsmoment Abb. 6) anziehen
und mit der Nadelschraube “E” blockie-
ren (Abb. 1).
ANMERKUNG:
- Die Montage der Nadelschraube ist unter
Anbringung von Loctite 243 vorzuneh-
men, siehe Kapitel “Anbringung der
Schraubensicherung”.
- Anzugsmoment der Schraube = 20 Nm.
- Einen Meißelschlag geben, um das
Metall wieder auf die Schraube
anzustauchen.

NOTA:
Non usare in nessun caso utensili taglienti
(Cacciaviti, lame, etc.) per il montaggio e
lo smontaggio delle guarnizioni.
Si consiglia di lavorare su banchi puliti,
senza trucioli.
SMONTAGGIO
- Togliere le guarnizioni dal pistone
(Fig. 1 o 2).
- Attenzione: evitare di danneggiare gli
spigoli e le gole.
CONTROLLO
- Togliere il grasso e pulire il pistone.
- Controllare che le gole e le superfici
siano lisce ed esenti da rigature.
- Le gole non devono avere corpi estranei.
RIMONTAGGIO
- Posizionare le guarnizioni seguendo il
montaggio (Fig. 1 o 2).
- Per il montaggio delle guarnizioni
esterne, aprirle quanto basta, in modo da
poterle inserire nelle gole senza
romperle.
- La guarnizione interna deve essere
montata manualmente.

removing seals.
Ensure that there are no chippings on the
work bench.
REMOVAL
- Remove the piston seals and ring
(Fig. 1 or 2).
- Take care not to damage the edges or
the bottom of the grooves.
INSPECTION
- Degrease and clean the piston.
- Check that the groove bottoms and sides
are smooth, and without scratches.
- There should be no extraneous bodies in
the grooves.
REASSEMBLY
- Fit the seals and ring as in Fig. 1 or 2.
- When fitting the outside seals, open them
sufficiently to slip them into the grooves
while ensuring that they do not break.
- The inside ring should be fitted by hand.

Anm.:
Auf keinen Fall schneidende Werkzeuge
(Schraubenzieher, Klingen etc.) für den
Ein- und Ausbau der Dichtungen verwen-
den. Man sollte auf saubenen, spanfreien
Werkbänken arbeiten.
AUSBAU
- Die Dichtungen vom Kolben entfernen
(Abb. 1 oder 2).
- Achtung: Vermeiden, die Kanten und die
Rillen zu beschädigen.
KONTROLLE
- Das Fett entfernen und den Kolben reini-
gen.
- Sicherstellen, dass die Rillen und die
Oberflächen glatt und nicht gerillt sind.
- In den Rillen dürfen keine Fremdkörper
vorhanden sein.
WIEDEREINBAU
- Die Dichtungen wie bei der Montage
anordnen (Abb. C1 oder C2).
- Für die Montage der externen
Dichtungen sind diese so weit wie erfor-
derlich zu öffnen, um sie in die Rillen zu
setzen, ohne dass sie Schaden
nehmen.
- Die interene Dichtung ist von Hand zu
montieren.

NOTA:
Non usare in nessun caso utensili taglienti
(Cacciaviti, lame, etc.) per il montaggio e
lo smontaggio delle guarnizioni.
Si consiglia di lavorare su banchi puliti,
senza trucioli.
SMONTAGGIO
- Togliere le guarnizioni della ghiera di
chiusura.
- Attenzione: evitare di danneggiare gli spi-
goli e le gole.
CONTROLLO
- Togliere il grasso e pulire la ghiera di
chiusura.
- Controllare che le gole e le superfici
siano lisce ed esenti da rigature.
- Le gole non devono avere corpi estranei.
- Infilare la ghiera sullo stelo facendola
correre su tutta la lunghezza.
- Il gioco non deve essere eccessivo, ma
non si deve nemmeno bloccare rigida-
mente la ghiera.
RIMONTAGGIO
- Posizionare le guarnizioni seguendo il
montaggio riportato in Fig. 1.
Le labbra della guarnizione devono
essere orientate lato pressione.
- Per il montaggio della guarnizione dello
stelo, inserirla nella gola tenendola con
il pollice o con un puntale “F” (Fig. 2)
che non abbia spigoli vivi.
- Spingere la guarnizione nella gola con
l’altra mano o con un punzone liscio “G”
(Fig. 3). Se la resistenza della guarnizio-
ne è notevole, la si può ridurre metten-
dola a bagno in olio idraulico alla tempe-
ratura di 50°C.
Posizionare il raschiaolio “D” (Fig. 1)
servendosi di un tampone e di un maz-
zuolo. Montare manualmente gli O-ring
“A” e “C” (Fig. 1) e la guarnizione anti-
estrusione Pos. “B” (Fig. 1).

NOTE :

REMOVAL
- Remove the locking ring seals and rings.
- Take care not to damage the edges or
the bottom of the grooves.
INSPECTION
- Degrease and clean the locking ring.
- Check that the groove bottoms and sides
are smooth, and without scratches.
- There should be no extraneous bodies in
the grooves.
- Thread the bare ring on the stem and
slide it over its whole length.
- The gap should not be excessive, but it
should not grip either.
REASSEMBLY
- Fit the seals and rings as in Fig. 1. The
lips of the stem seal should face the
pressure side.
- When fitting the stem seal, first introduce
it in the groove, holding it back either
with your thumb or a bit (item F) with no
sharp edges (Fig. 2).
- Push it into the groove with the other
hand or a smooth die (item G) (Fig. 3). If
the seal is too tight, dip it into hydraulic
oil heated to 50°C.
Fit scraper ring D (Fig. 1) using a plug
and a mallet. O-rings A and C (Fig. 1)
and extrusion proof ring B (Fig. 1) will be
fitted by hand.

DER DICHTUNGEN DER VER-
SCHLUSSMUTTER
ANMERKUNG:
Auf keinen Fall schneidende Werkzeuge
(Schraubenzieher, Klingen etc.) für den
Ein- und Ausbau der Dichtungen verwen-
den. Man sollte auf saubenen, spanfreien
Werkbänken arbeiten.
AUSBAU
- Die Dichtungen von der Verschlussmutter
entfernen.
- Achtung: Vermeiden, die Kanten und die
Rillen zu beschädigen.
KONTROLLE
- Das Fett entfernen und die
Verschlussmutter reinigen.
- Sicherstellen, dass die Rillen und die
Oberflächen glatt und nicht gerillt sind.
- In den Rillen dürfen keine Fremdkörper
vorhanden sein.
- Die Verschlussmutter auf den Schaft
stecken und auf der ganzen Länge glei-
tern lassen.
- Das Spiel darf nicht zu groß sein, aber
die Verschlussmutter darf auch nicht
starr sitzend montiert werden.
WIEDEREINBAU
- Die Dichtungen gemäß der Montage von
Abb. 1 anordnen. Die Dichtlippen müs-
sen in Richtung der Druckseite zeigen.
- Für die Montage der Schaftdichtung ist
sie in die Rille zu stecken, wobei man
sie mit dem Daumen oder einer
Bolzenspitze “F” (Abb. 2) hält, die keine
scharfen Kanten haben darf.
- Die Dichtung mit der anderen Hand oder
mit einer glatten Bolzenspitze “G” in die
Rille drücken (Abb. 3). Wenn die
Dichtung einen zu großen Widerstand
abgibt, kann man ihn verringern, indem
man sie bei einer Temperatur von 50° C
ein Bad mit hydraulischem Öl legt.
Den Ölabstreifring “D” (Abb. 1) mit
einem Dorn und einem Hammer positio-
nieren. Die O-Ringe “A” und “C” (Abb. 1)
und den Stützring Pos. “B” (Abb. 1) von
Hand montieren.

AUSBAU

Wenn die mit der Schraubensicherung montieren Komponenten

nicht mit Standardwerkzeugen freigegeben werden können, emp-
fiehlt es sich, den verklebten Bereich auf die Temperatur T =
250°C zu erhitzen, am besten unter Benutzung einer
Heißluftpistole anstatt eines Brenners.

ANMERKUNG
Wenn die Temperatur in der Nähe von 0°C liegt, empfiehlt es
sich, während der Montage einen Loctite-Aktivator zu benutzen,
um die Aushärtungszeiten zu verringern.

chiave ad uncino dopo aver agito sul

- Estrarre dalla camicia del martinetto
l’assemblaggio stelo Rif. 8 + pistone Rif. 6.
- Smontare la vite a brugola Rif. 2 (chiave
a brugola di 4mm) del pistone.

DISASSEMBLY
- Unscrew head Ref. 16 using the pin
wrench after acting on the edge of the
cylinder liner riveted in the head seating.
- Extract the liner of rod assembly cylinder
Ref. 8 + piston Ref. 6.
- Dismantle the Allen screws Ref. 2 (using
a 4mm Allen wrench) of the piston.
- ATTENTION screw locked using Loctite
(see Chapter “General rules for disas-
sembling cylinders”).
- Unscrew the piston Ref. 6 of the cylinder
using a pin wrench.
- Remove the piston Ref. 6 of the cylinder
and the head Ref. 16 from the rod.

- 1 Steckschlüssel von 4 mm
AUSBAU
- Den Kopf Bez. 23 mit der Hilfe des
Hakenschlüssels losschrauben, nachdem
man den Lappen der Laufbuchse gelockert
hat, der in den Kopfsitz eingeschlagen wor-
den ist.
- Aus der Laufbuchse des Zylinders die
Baugruppe Schaft Bez. 16 + Kolben Bez. 10
herausziehen.
- Die Inbusschraube Bez. 11 (mit Steckschlüssel
von 4 mm) des Kolbens losdrehen.
- ACHTUNG Schraube mit Loctite abgesichert
(siehe Kapitel “Allgemeine Normen zum
Ausbau der Zylinder”).
- Den Kolben Bez. 10 des Zylinders mit der Hilfe
eines Hakenschlüssels losschrauben.
- Den Kolben Bez. 10 des Zylinders und den
Kopf Bez. 23 aus dem Schaft ausbauen.
- Die Dichtung Bez. 6 und die Leitringe Bez. 5
des Kolbens ausbauen.
- Den Dichtungsring Bez. 14 ausbauen und
den Distanzring Bez. 15 herausziehen.
- Die Dichtungen Bez. 19, 20 und 22, die
Leitringe Bez. 18 und die Dichtungen Bez. 21
und 24 des Kopfs ausbauen.
- Das Ventil Bez. 12 ausschrauben, nachdem
man den Sprengring Bez. 1 entfernt hat.
- Den Zustand des Ventils, des Ventilsitzes und
der Feder prüfen.
- Die Dichtungen und die Komponenten erset-
zen, falls erforderlich (siehe Kapitel
“Allgemeine Normen für den Ausbau der
Zylinder”).
- Auf die Richtung des Wiedereinbaus ACHTEN.
WIEDEREINBAU
Umgekehrte Richtung des Ausbaus.
Anm.:
- Der Außenlappen der Laufbuchse muss in eine
der Einschlagstellen auf dem Kopf eingeschla
gen werden.
- Die Montage der Inbusschraube ist mit der
Schraubensicherung Loctite vorzunehmen.
- Die Dichtungen mit hydraulischem Öl ein
schmieren (siehe Kapitel “Allgemeine Normen
für den Ausbau der Zylinder”).

Attrezzi necessari:
- 1 chiave ad uncino (per ghiere)
- 1 chiave a brugola di 4mm
SMONTAGGIO
- Svitare la testata Rif. 21 con l’aiuto della chiave
ad uncino dopo aver agito sul lembo della
camicia ribattuto ad incastro nella sede della
testata.
- Estrarre dalla camicia del martinetto
l’assemblaggio stelo Rif. 12 + pistone Rif. 3.
- Smontare la vite a brugola Rif. 8 (chiave a bru-
gola di 4mm) del pistone.
- ATTENZIONE vite bloccata con loctite (vedi
capitolo “Norme generali per lo smontaggio mar-
tinetti”).
- Svitare il pistone Rif. 3 del martinetto con l’aiuto
di una chiave ad uncino.
- Togliere il pistone Rif. 3 del martinetto e la testa-
ta Rif. 21 dallo stelo.
- Smontare la guarnizione Rif. 5 e gli anelli di
guida Rif. 6 del pistone.
- Smontare l’anello di tenuta Rif. 14 e sfilare il
distanziale Rif. 15.
- Smontare le guarnizioni Rif. 17, 18 e 20, gli
anelli di guida Rif. 16 e le guarnizioni Rif. 19 e
22 della testata.
- Svitare la valvola Rif. 24 dopo aver tolto l’anello
elastico Rif. 2.
- Verificare lo stato della valvola, della sede della
valvola e della molla.
- Cambiare le guarnizioni e i componenti se
necessario (vedi capitolo “Norme generali per
lo smontaggio martinetti”).
- ATTENZIONE al senso di rimontaggio.
RIMONTAGGIO
Operazione inversa dello smontaggio.
Nota:
- Si rammenta che il lembo esterno della camicia
deve essere ribattuto in una delle sedi ad
incastro presenti sulla testata.
- Il montaggio della vite a brugola deve essere
effettuata con loctite blocca filetti.
- Spalmare le guarnizioni di olio idraulico (vedi
capitolo “Norme generali per lo smontaggio
martinetti”).

Tools required:
- 1 pin wrench (for ring nuts)
- 1 4mm Allen wrench
DISASSEMBLY
- Unscrew head Ref. 21 using the pin
wrench after acting on the edge of the
cylinder liner riveted in the head seating.
- Extract the liner of rod assembly cylinder
Ref. 12 + piston Ref. 3.
- Dismantle the Allen screws Ref. 8 (using
a 4mm Allen wrench) of the piston.
- ATTENTION screw locked using Loctite
(see Chapter “General rules for disas-
sembling cylinders”).
- Unscrew the piston Ref. 3 of the cylinder
using a pin wrench.
- Remove the piston Ref. 3 of the cylinder
and the head Ref. 21 from the rod.
- Dismantle gaskets Ref. 5 and guide rings
Ref. 6 of the piston.
- Dismantle sealing ring Ref. 14 and
extract spacer Ref. 15.
- Dismantle gaskets Ref. 17, 18 and 20,
guide rings Ref. 16 and gaskets Ref. 19
and 22 of the head.
- Unscrew valve Ref. 24 after removing the
snap ring Ref. 2.
- Check the condition of the valve, the
valve seat and the spring.
- Replace the gaskets and components, if
necessary (see Chapter “General rules
for disassembling cylinders”).
- ATTENTION to the direction of reassembly.
REASSEMBLY
Operation reverse of disassembly.
Note :
- Remember that the outside edge of the
cylinder liner must be riveted in one of the
seating present on the head.
- Assembly of the Allen screw must be
done using thread-locking Loctite.
