PUTSCH Filter presses offer a
clean, efficient and economical
solution to even the most difficult
problems encountered in solid /
liquid separation.
PUTSCH presses feature plates
of 250 up to 1,300 mm edge
length, and the company offers
a choice of three designs: the
PUTSCH Frame Filter Press, the
PUTSCH Chamber Filter Press
and the PUTSCH Membrane
Filter Press. Filter surface areas
ranging from 0.5 m2 to 138 m2
and maximum press-volumes of
3 l up to 2975 l are attainable.
The appropriate design and size
of a press depends not only
upon the quantities of
suspension to be treated at a
given facility, but also upon the
composition of the suspensions
and the degree of difficulty
involved in their filtration.
Whatever the specific production
conditions and requirements may
be, and regardless of whether the
"open" or "closed" filtration

closing systems are installed.

automatically. Presses having
plates of 800 mm edge length or
larger do not offer a manual-
operating mode, since that would
be an impractical and dangerous
option on such large-scale
machines.
