Failure program runs by fix times without switch points, one minute pressure decrease
through both valves, three minutes vacuum pump, one minute aeration. Door opens not
automaticly. Failure program has to be receipted.
Emergency unlock program: cool down device. Push second button from above while
switching on device. After one minute (only pressure decrease) the door can be opened.
- fill demin. water (less water, coupling, hose, conductance electrode, conductance
<0,5µS/cm, broken cable)
- DS water too poor (look at user manual, short circuit, conductance >200µS/cm)
- connect demin. water (broken cable, switch, coupling, spring catch)
- connect waste water (broken cable, switch, spring catch)
- empty waste water (dirt, short circuit, drops, electrode)
- door contact fault (sticking button, switch, holder lifting magnet, hole door cover,
short circuit)
- please close door (switch, holder lifting magnet, broken cable)
- temp.sensor M defect (jacket temp. not between 3°C and 149°C, check PT100,
short circuit, broken cable, frost)
- temp.sensor D defect (steam generator temp. not between 3°C und 270°C, broken
cable, short circuit, check PT100, frost)
- temp.sensor K defect (chamber temp. not between 3°C und 149°C, check PT100,
broken cable, short circuit, frost)
- pressure-sensor K defect (pressure chamber not between 10 und 3600mbar,
broken cable, short circuit, external pressure transducer)
- CV sensor fault (DS-minimum und DS-maximum at the same time, broken cable,
conductance <0,5µS/cm, floating switch)
- Check demin. supply (defect lower floating switch or defect external water supply,
from software $420 on)
Failures that abort a program
- fwr failure (fuse main switch, fuse base control, fault current, short circuit, moisture)
- door contact fault (locking switch or door switch opens during program, switch,
switch lever, holder lifting magnet, broken cable)
- fault Z (too much time for one step, step is shown, searching for cause according to
the step, less water, too much load, defect heating element, leaking, feeding,
pressure decrease, vacuum pump, too low temp. during holding time, PT100
chamber, pressure transducer)
- fault T (difference between both PT100 chamber more than 1,5K, difference
between PT100 and theoretical temperature more than 2K, PT100, pressure
transducer, compare temperatures in the service mode, compare pressure with
external pressure transducer)
- fault B (temperature range 133-137°C oder pressure range 3020-3380mbar was left,
feeding, pressure decrease, PT100, pressure transducer)
- temp.sensor K defect (see above)
- pressure-sensor K defect (see above)
- temp.sensor D defect (see above)
leak monitoring fail (too large pressure increase in the last minute of drying, perform
vacuum-test, avoid overloading, only in standard-programs, change parameters, avoid
moisture)

In case of sticking push button we recommend to replace the door cover (6) by a new one with a
shorter (15mm) guidance for the push button. If there is no door cover available it is possible to retrofit
the guidance with a saw. In both cases it then is necessary to guide the spring with the additional
spring sleeve (7) and to delete the existing teflon disc and the steel sleeve. In case of deformation at
the push button (1) please replace. Fastening the door cover and push button please note the picture
above. Please tighten up all screws gently.
New guiding of push button is installed ex works from device-no. 94158 (A30-B), 94201

In case of an unsuccessful vacuum leakage test there might be a leak at the valve
for aeration, feeding, streaming or vacuum.
Having tight cooler, vacuum valve and check valve (A) and having a cold cooler the
pressure decrease valves are not able to cause a vacuum leak. Tightness of these
parts can be checked by setting one pressure decrease valve under power during
vacuum leakage test.
A small leakage of the feeding valve may cause a large failure because DS water
will be sucked into the steam generator. Tightness can be checked disconnecting
and holding up tube (B) and watching the water level during vacuum leakage test.
Tightness of the aeration valve for the chamber can be checked watching a soap
bubble at the inlet of the aeration filter (C).
Tightness of the aeration valve for the door seal can be checked watching a soap
bubble at the inlet of the aeration valve (D).

Replace lifting magnet (A) when sluggish or not running to end-positions. Using lubricants does not
reduce friction for a long term. Especially magnets with a too large diameter of the piston (B) are
affected. Magnets produced between 04/02 and 08/02 (imprint magnet) and without imprint "Kontrolliert"
should be replaced by new ones if possible.
Tighten up screws (C) powerful having an adjusted position (with mounted locking bars). Disc shall deform
in the long hole. Safety disc shall avoid rotation.
Distance between switching sheet (D) and switch (E) must be 0-0,5mm when magnet is not live wired.
Bending the switching sheet do not stress the M4-rod (F) in radial direction.

The biggest difference between the devices M10-B, M20-B and M30-B is the chamber.
This effects different overall dimensions concerning the depth and the floor space.
Because of the different chambers there are different racks, containers, baskets and
trays. Doors, covers and torsion springs are also different.
Concerning the piping plan the M20-B and M30-B have an additional air extraction
through sintered filter and valve into the condensate tank.
M20-B and M30-B are able to detect a full condansate tank by giving the control a signal
of the conductance between two pins inside the tank contacted by contact plates. The
pre-installation for external DS-water feeding of the M10-B includes this monitoring of
the fill factor.
All the devices have the same maximal current consumption. The steam generator ist
the same for all devices, it is over-dimensioned for the M10-B and underrated for the
M30-B. The jacket heatings have also the same wattage but different dimensions. This
similar power consumption and the different possibilities of loading the devices causes
different process times. The typical consumption of time, current and water is
documented in the description of software and hardware. The consumption of water of
the full loaded and cold M30-B is so much that using this device only with the plug-in
tanks is uncomfortable. Because of this the M30-B has always the pre-installation for
external DS-water feeding (valves, fittings, float switches).
The programs and the operations of the devices are the same. The structure to identify
the inputs to compute and to adress the outputs is the same in every software. The
differences are some textes and many parameters and switching points. Some
parameters and switching points are mentioned in the appendix of the user manual.

All sterilizers with a software from version 360 on are able to run a selected program 1 - 99 times
successive automatically. This option has to be released in the service-menue ex work or by a service
technician. Then this option can be switched on in the config-menue by the user if required. Pushing
the start button with this option switched on an input mask appears. The desired amout of cycles can
be entered. The program can be started from this mask. Pushing the stop-button during the
continuous run the current cycle will be finished regular. Then the continuous run will be stopped, so
no further cycle will be started.
It is strictly recommended to use this option only with devices having automatic DS-water feeding and
automatic condensate drain. Otherwise having not enough DS-water a process failure may appear
and the process will abort with a failure program. In addition the condensate tank may overflow and
hot water may come out of the device. It is possible but not advisable to feed (e.g. during pressure
decrease or drying) and drain (e.g. during pressure increase or drying) manual. Removing the tanks
during a cycle is only allowed for a short time. During a continuous run DS-water-minimum and
condensate-maximum are not supervised and indicated.
To avoid buzzing solenoid valves it is possible to retrofit older sterilizers. Only a Relais-
Board (Webeco-art.-no. 033817) with version C and five ø2,5mm solenoid valves for
205VDC (Webeco-art.-no. 039427) are necessary.
The following steps should be done with a sterilizer disconnected from the mains:
Change Relais-Board if necessary. The four jumpers of the Board need to have the setting
as shown in the picture.
Replace the small solenoid valves for 230VAC by solenoid valves for 205VDC. This is
valid for pressure decrease valve (Y110), aeration valve (Y126), door seal aeration valve
(Y102), vacuum release valve (Y115) and streaming valve (Y120, if available) but not for
feeding valve (Y130).
The blue wire at feeding valve (Y130) and feeding pump (M132) has to go to plug XP2 pin
6 separately. Both parts continue working with alternating current.

Information zu ø2,5mm-Ventilen für Gleich- und Wechselstrom
Information regarding ø2,5mm solenoid valves for direct or alternating current
Ventile (Webeco-Art.-Nr. 039427). Bei anderer Jumper-Stellung bzw. älteren und nicht umgerüsteten Geräten sind alle
kleinen Ventile Wechselstrom-Ventile (Webeco-Art.-Nr. 035901).
Please be aware not to mix up between the small solenoid valves. At the feeding pump in all devices a solenoid valves for
alternating current Y130 (Webeco-art.no. 035901) is used. With the jumper-setting on the relais-board as shown (picture 1)
all other small solenoid valves Y102/110/115/120/126/144 are for direct current (Webeco-art.-no. 039427). With other setting
of the jumper or in older and not retrofitted devices all small solenoid valves are for alternating current (Webeco-art.-no.
035901).
Changing to solenoid valves for direct current (except feeding valve) was done to avoid the usual buzzing noise.
Running a solenoid valve for direct current with alternating current decreases the power of the coil, opening against
pressure may become difficult. It is more risky to run a solenoid valve for alternating current with direct current. In this case
the valve works and the failure will not be detected shortly. But the coil of the valve becomes too hot and will get damaged.
This is critical for the solenoid valve for gasket-aeration Y102 at A35/50-B and M20/30-B. In these devices this valve is
partly in touch with the chamber-insulation. It is recommended to protect the insulation in this area using aluminium tape
(Webeco-art.-no. 027748 roll).
In new devices the valves have other positions mounted on the vacuum pump (picture 2), the support sheet (Webeco-art.-
no. 035584) is modified. With this new arrangement the solenoid valves are not able to touch the insulation.
Please care for using correct position switches in the locking area and for
the internal tanks. The door and door button switches in the locking area
have to be more temperature resistant (plunger ø4).
Both kind of switches are very similar but easy to destinguish in size of
plunger diameter. Both have similar way of overtravel.
In case of open door detection (failure, program abort) during an
overpressure phase adjustment should be possible by bending of locking
sheet.

Siebeinsatz zum Schutz der Druckabbauventile vor Verschmutzung
A30/35/50-B
In

Loosen screws (A) to remove heads (B), chambers (C) and rings (D). Care for correct positions of chambers (C) and
valves (E) when mounting again. Valves (E) should be removed in case they are broken, coated with dirt , porous or
enlarged.
The membrans (F) can be removed by turning against the plungers (G). Care for using locking liquid when mounting
again. Membranes (F) should be removed in case they are porous or chapped.
Loosen screws (H) to remove the metal covers (I) for better access to area of plunger (G), counter weight (J) and
shaft (K).
Loosen the grub screws (L) to remove plungers (G) and counter weights (J).
It is difficult to remove the plunger (G) on the outlet-side (M) of the pump. So in case this plunger is broken, the
pump-housing is broken or the electro motor is defect it is strongly recommended to replace the complete pump by a
new one.
The plungers (G) have to be mounted with the grub screw entering the flat areas at the shaft (K). The same is for the
counter weight (J). Care for position of the plungers (G) in the center of the membranes (F). Care for using locking
liquid at the grub screws (L). Care for using a torque of 2,0...2,1Nm at the grub screws (L) with a hexagon socket of
2,5mm.
Do not forget the ring (N) to protect from dirt. Do not forget the ring (O) for the ventilator.

Problems having DS-water with very low conductivity
in A30/35/50-B and M10/20/30-B with automatic feeding
So far sterilizers with connected external DS-water feeding are working in the
following way: When water level inside the internal stainless steel tank is reaching a
level lower than the conductivity electrode the sterilizer detects less water and opens
the valves for external feeding until maximum floating switch detects maximum level.
In case at the same time conductivity electrode detects low level and maximum
floating switch detects maximum level the controler has to give an alarm "CV sensor
fault" because of not logic combination. This is to check the function of the sensors.
But this combination also may occure when water has a very low conductivity. This
combination so far is not known using manual water supply.
The mechanical and electrical installation stays the same. The function of the floating
switch at higher position (protection from overflow) will stay the same.
For further information please read user manual from version 3 on.
