1. Aufbau
Das AS-Interface Erweiterungskit für S7 Steuerungen dient zum Anschluss eines AS-
Interface Stranges an eine S7 300 Steuerung.
Es muss auf ein bestehendes SPS Board montiert und angeschlossen werden.
Die folgende Geräteliste zeigt die Komponenten der AS-Interface Erweiterung

2. Montage und Anschluss
AS-Interface Schließen Sie die AS-Interface Stromversorgung an und montieren Sie diese auf dem
Stromversorgung SPS-Board.
Gehen Sie dabei folgendermaßen vor:

1. Befestigen Sie das AS-Interface Filter auf der Hutschiene.
2. Schließen Sie das AS-Interface Filter an den Klemmenblock der 24 V DC
Stromversorgung an.
Beachten Sie die Bezeichnungen am Gerät.
Verwenden Sie hierzu einen Kabelquerschnitt von 0,75 mm2.
3. Schließen Sie das Schutzleiterkabel an eine Klemme des Schutzleiterkontakts an,
indem Sie eine doppelte Aderendhülse verwenden.
Verwenden Sie hierzu einen Kabelquerschnitt von 1,5 mm2.
Falls Sie eine CPU 313C oder 313C-DP besitzen, können Sie auch deren
Schutzleiter entfernen und die dadurch frei gewordene Klemme benutzen. (Diese
Steuerung benötigt keinen Schutzleiteranschluss)
AS-Interface Montieren Sie den AS-Interface Master (CP 343-2) auf der Hutschiene.
Masterbaugruppe
Gehen Sie dabei folgendermaßen vor:
1. Lösen Sie den E/A-Frontstecker der digitalen E/As (abschrauben).
2. Öffnen Sie den Kabelkanal soweit, dass die E/A-Kabel frei liegen.
3. Heben Sie den E/A-Frontstecker ab.
4. Lösen Sie die Befestigungsschrauben der CPU am Rack.
5. Kippen Sie die CPU nach oben.
6. Stecken Sie den beiliegenden Verbindungsstecker von hinten auf die CPU.
7. Montieren Sie den AS-Interface Master so auf das Rack, dass dieser auf den
Verbindungsstecker aufgesteckt ist.
8. Prüfen Sei ob der AS-Interface Master mit Spannung versorgt wird. (Bei
Anschluss der 24 V DC Stromversorgung leuchten die LEDs des AS-Interface
Masters).
9. Schrauben Sie die Befestigungsschrauben der CPU und des AS-Interface Masters
wieder an.
10. Stecken Sie den E/A- Frontstecker wieder auf und schrauben sie ihn fest.
11. Schließen Sie den Kabelkanal.

2. Montage und Anschluss
Schließen Sie die AS-Interface Busleitung wie folgt an:

1. Stecken Sie den Frontstecker auf AS-Interface Master Baugruppe.
2. Verbinden Sie den Frontstecker (Pin 17/18) und das AS-Interface Filter (±) über
das gelbe AS-Interface Buskabel.
3. Schließen Sie die AS-Interface Leitung zur Peripherie an.
Der Anschluss kann sowohl am Frontstecker (Pin 19/20) wie auch am AS-
Interface Filter (±) erfolgen.
NOT-AUS Konzept Einbindung des AS-Interface Stranges in ein bestehendes NOT-AUS Konzept:
Wenn Sie die am AS-Interface Strang angeschlossenen Komponenten im NOT-AUS
Fall auch abschalten wollen, müssen Sie die AS-Interface Spannungsversorgung
über den NOT-AUS Kontakt des SPS Boardes anschließen (grüne
Schraubsteckverbindung).
Dazu gehen Sie wie folgt vor:

1. Montieren Sie die beigelegten Schraubklemmen neben der NOT-AUS Klemme
des Boardes.
2. Verbinden Sie die 2 Klemmen über die beigelegte Brücke (evtl. kürzen).
3. Lösen Sie die am Pin1 der NOT-AUS Klemme angeschlossene Leitung.
4. Klemmen Sie diese Leitung an den montierten Schraubklemmen an.
5. Verbinden Sie über eine Drahtbrücke die Schraubklemmen mit der NOT-AUS
Klemme.
6. Schließen Sie die braune Ader des AS-Interface Versorgungskabels ebenfalls an
den Schraubklemmen an.
7. Verbinden Sie die blaue Ader des AS-Interface Versorgungskabels mit einer
freien 0 V Klemme des Klemmenblocks.

1.Design
The AS-Interface extension kit for S7 controllers is used for the connection of an AS-
Interface string to an S7 300 controller.
It must be mounted on and connected to an existing PLC board.
The following equipment list shows the components of the AS-Interface extension:

2. Assembly and connection
AS-Interface Connect the AS-Interface and mount this on to the PLC board.
power supply
To do so, proceed as follows:
1. Attach the AS-Interface filter to the top-hat rail.
2. Connect the AS-Interface filter to the terminal block of the 24 V DC power supply.
Observe the markings on the device.
Use a cable of diameter 0.75 mm2 for this.
3. Connect the protective earth cable to a terminal of the mains earth contact by
using a double cable end sleeve.
Use a cable of diameter 1.5 mm2 for this.
Should you have a CPU 313C or a 313C-DP, you can also remove the protective
conductor of this and therefore use the resulting vacant terminal. (This controller
does not require a protective earth connection).
AS-Interface Mount the AS-Interface master (CP 343-2) on to the top-hat rail.
master module
1. Remove the I/O front plug of the digital I/Os (unscrew).
2. Open up the cable duct so that the I/O cables are exposed.
3. Lift off the I/O front plug.
4. Loosen the mounting screws of the CCU on the rack.
5. Tilt the CCU upwards.
6. Plug the provided connector plug into the CCU from the rear.
7. Mount the AS-Interface master on to the rack so that it is plugged onto the
connector plug.
8. Check that the voltage is supplied to the AS-Interface master (the LEDs of the AS-
Interface master are illuminated if the 24 V DC power supply is connected).
9. Re-tighten the mounting screws of the CCE and the AS-Interface master.
10. Plug in and securely tighten the I/O front plug again.
11. Close the cable duct.

2. Assembly and connection
Connect the AS-Interface bus line as follows:

1. Plug the front plug onto the AS-Interface master module.
2. Connect the front plug (pin 17/18) and the AS-Interface filter (±) via the yellow
AS-Interface bus cable.
3. Connect the AS-Interface line to the peripherals.
The connection can be effected both on the front plug (pin 19/20) as well as on
the AS-Interface filter (±).
EMERGENGY-STOP concept Integration of the AS-Interface string into an existing EMERGENCY-STOP concept:
If you wish to also switch off the components connected to the AS-Interface string in
an EMERGENCY-STOP situation, you will need to connect the AS-Interface voltage
supply via the EMERGENCY-STOP contact of the PLC board (green screw connector).

1. Mount the provided screw terminals next to the EMERGENCY-STOP terminal of
the board.
2. Connect the 2 terminals via the enclosed bridge (may need to be shortened).
3. Release the line connected to pin1 of the EMERGENCY-STOP terminal.
4. Clamp this line to the assembled screw terminals.
5. Connect the screw terminals with the EMERGENCY-STOP terminal via a cable link.
6. Connect the brown wire of the AS-Interface also to the screw terminals.
7. Connect the blue wire of the AS-Interface supply cable to a vacant
0 V terminal of the terminal block.
