The drum must be turned repeatedly
during repair work. Use suitable lifting
gear (crane) with a sufficient lifting
capacity.
Gripping jaws can be used to ensure
safe handling of the drum.

Information before starting work
Diese Anleitung beschreibt die
Demontage bzw. Montage einer
geteilten Bandage mit Vibrator des Typs
DV+90i.
Bei Arbeiten an einer Maschine der
Typen DV+70i, HD und HD+ beachten
Sie die Stücklisten und Zeichnungen im
Widos-Portal.
Bei Demontage von Anbauteilen, die
jeweilige Anleitung beachten.
Machen Sie sich im letzten Hauptkapitel
vertraut mit den spezifischen
Sicherheitshinweisen für diese Montage!
4.01 Walze abstellen und sichern /
Parking and securing the roller
1. Walze auf ebenem und festem
Untergrund abstellen.
2. Dieselmotor abstellen und
Zündschlüssel abziehen.
3. Walze mit Unterlegkeilen gegen
Wegrollen sichern.
4. Batterietrennschalter betätigen.
5. Falls kein Batterietrennschalter
vorhanden ist, Masseband der
Batterie abnehmen.
6. Optionale Anbauteile
demontieren.

Removal
These instructions describe the removal
and installation of a DV+90i split drum
with vibrator.
When working on a DV+70i, HD or HD+
machine, observe the parts lists and
drawings in the WIDOS portal.
Follow the relevant instructions when
removing attachments.
Familiarise yourself with the specific
safety instructions for this installation,
which are provided in the previous main
section!
1. Park the roller on flat, firm
ground.
2. Switch off the diesel engine and
remove the ignition key.
3. Use chocks to secure the roller
against rolling away.
4. Press the battery isolator switch.
5. If there is no battery isolator
switch, remove the earth strap
from the battery.
6. Remove the optional
attachments.

4.02 Walze aufbocken / Jacking up the roller
1. 2x Wagenheber (Tragkraft min.
halbes Maschinengewicht) unter
der Maschine [A] auf beiden
Seiten positionieren und
anheben bis Pufferelemente
entlastet sind.
2. Maschine am Maschinenrahmen
auf tragfähige Unterlagen (z. B.
ausreichend dimensionierte
Auflagehölzer) absetzen /
aufbocken.

lifting capacity of half the weight
of the machine) under the

Markieren Sie die Anschlüsse der
Hydraulikschläuche und Kabel.
So vermeiden Sie bei der späteren
Montage Verwechslungen.
Alle Hydraulikschläuche werden nach
der Demontage mit Blindstopfen
verschlossen.
Halten Sie ausreichend Blindstopfen
bereit.
Umwelthinweis:
Das abgelassene Hydrauliköl auffangen
und vorschriftsmäßig entsorgen!
1. Verschlauchung am Vibro-Motor
[60] entfernen:
Schläuche [307+308+326]
demontieren und mit
Blindstopfen verschließen.
2. Einschraubstutzen (gerade)
[320+325] und Winkelstutzen
[321] aus Vibromotor [60]
demontieren.

Mark the connections for the hydraulic
hoses and cables.
This helps to avoid confusion during
assembly later on.
All hydraulic hoses are sealed with
dummy plugs following removal.
Have a sufficient number of dummy
plugs ready.
Environmental warning:
Catch and dispose of any drained
hydraulic oil in accordance with
regulations!
1. Remove the hoses from the
vibration motor [60]:
Remove the hoses
[307+308+326] and seal with
dummy plugs.
2. Remove the screw-in nozzles
(straight) [320+325] and
angled nozzle [321] from the
vibration motor [60].

Falls ein Kantenandrück- und
Schneidgerät montiert ist,
demontieren Sie auch die
dazugehörigen
Verschlauchungen.
Die Verschlauchung am Radnabenmotor
[46] bleibt noch bestehen.
4. Elektronikeinheit mit Gehäuse
[410] demontieren:
2x Zylinderschraube M4x12
[411] aus den Gehäusen
schrauben.
5. Sensor-Kabelbaum [412]
Drehzahlsensor [390] und
Arbeitsscheinwerfer abstecken.
6. Schlauchschelle am Bügelblech
demontieren:
2x Zylinderschraube M8x45
[161] mit Sicherungsscheibe
[162] und Sechskantmutter
[163] lösen.
Die Schlauchschellen nicht öffnen.
Dadurch wird ein Arbeitsschritt
(Einstellen der Schlauchlängen)
eingespart.
Die Hydraulik und Elektrik wird auf
beiden Seiten der Bandage analog
zueinander demontiert.

3. Option:

screws [161] with safety
washers [162] and hexagon
nuts [163].
Do not open the hose clamps. This
means that a work step (adjusting the
hose lengths) is omitted.
The procedure for removing the
hydraulics and electrics on one side of
the drum is the same on the other side.

switch and/or connect the earth
strap to the battery.
3. Check the hydraulic oil level and,
if required, top it up in
accordance with the operating
manual.
4. Start the machine. The hydraulic
system is vented automatically
during operation. After running
the machine for a short time,
check the hydraulic oil fill level
and, if required, top it up.
5. Carry out a test run with the
vibration switched on.
6. Let the machine cool down to
below 20 °C ~ 68 °F. Check the
hydraulic oil level again and, if
required, top it up. Check all
hydraulic lines and connections
for leaks again and repair them if
necessary.

ACHTUNG
Abgenutzte oder beschädigte
Schrauben und Muttern!
Bei der Wiederverwendung gebrauchter
Schrauben und Muttern können Gewinde
beschädigt werden. Abgenutzte
Schraubenköpfe sind nur schwer
demontierbar.
 Entsorgen Sie alle Schrauben und
Muttern bei der Demontage.
 Für die Montage immer neue
Schrauben und Muttern verwenden.
ACHTUNG
Verminderter Kraftschluss durch
Schmiermittelreste!
Verminderter Kraftschluss kann
Sachschäden verursachen.
 Schmiermittelreste auf Flanschflächen
vor der Montage entfernen.
 Flanschflächen gründlich reinigen.
 Konen der Welle gründlich reinigen.
ACHTUNG
Korrosion!
Wasser im Inneren der Bandage führt zu
erhöhtem Verschleiß und Lagerschäden.
 Nur neue Abdeckbleche verwenden.
 Abdeckbleche der Bandage vor der
Montage mit Dichtmittel behandeln.
 Im Rahmen der Wartungsarbeiten die
Dichtheit der Abdeckbleche prüfen und
ggf. erneut abdichten.
