In diesem

The Spectroquant Colorimeter Picco features an option that enables user-specific adjustment. This option is required only in exceptional cases.
The Spectroquant rapid tests are subject to stringent checks that ensure a consistently
high quality and a high batch reproducibility. Furthermore, the Picco colorimeters are programmed by means of calibration at several points.
In the event the user chooses to adjust the instrument, this takes place at only two points
of the measuring range (zero point and measurement result). In this case it is advisable to
check the adjustment using various concentrations of a standard solution.

show lower results. To avoid any measurement errors, only use glassware free of contamination. Preparation: Put all applicable glassware into sodium hypochlorite solution
(0.1 g/l) for one hour, then rinse all glassware thoroughly with deionized water.
Oxidizing agents interfere as they react in the same way as chlorine, ozone, and
chlorine dioxide.
For the individual testing of free and total chlorine, the use of different sets of glassware is recommended (see EN ISO 7393-2, 5.3).
If the analytical result lies beyond the stated measuring-range limits, distill the sample
with high-quality, chlorine-free water and repeat the analysis. The dilution may result in
a slight loss of the analyte. The result must then be multiplied by the respective dilution
factor.

Methods
Procedure
The procedure is carried out as described in the package insert for the corresponding
test kit.
The measurement cell contained in the corresponding test kit is used as the test vessel. Otherwise the measurement solution must be completely transferred into this cell immediately before
the measurement.
The measurement can be made only in the cells for the corresponding test kits.
The colorimeter requires a blank sample prior to the actual measurement. For this purpose the
cells enclosed with each of the test kits, filled with distilled water, can be used.
In the case of the pH Cell Test the measurement must be made immediately after adding
m reagent
pH-1K.
