Dichtungsprofile von NATIONAL GUMMI AB

Dichtungsprofile von NATIONAL GUMMI AB werden aus EPDM-, SBR- und NITRIL-
Kautschuk/Gummi im Extrusionsverfahren hergestellt und in unterschiedlichen
Fertigungsverfahren weiter zu geschlossenen Rahmen, auch unter Verwendung von
Form-Eckstücken, U-Rahmen usw. kombiniert.

Dieses Extrusionsverfahren bedeutet auch, dass neue Profile oder maßlich

abweichende Querschnitte preisgünstig im Verhältnis zu formgepressten sind.
In diesem Katalog zeigen wir Standard-Wasserbauprofile mit einem
Anfrage/Auftragsblatt, in dem Sie die gewünschten Maße eintragen können.
Insgesamt stehen mehr als 1.000 verschiedene Werkzeuge zu Ihrer Verfügung.
WERKSTOFF
Der verwendete Werkstoff, zum größten teil EPDM, den wir mit einer mehr als 25-
jährigen Erfahrung in diesem Bereich empfehlen, wird in gleicher Zusammenstellung
auch für den Schiffbau (Lastluken) und Fender eingesetzt. Auch SBR gemäß DIN
19704 wird verwendet.

REIBUNG
Reibung kann eine sehr kritische Eigenschaft für Gummiprofile, die unter Druck
arbeiten, sein. Seit mehreren Jahren hat man, um einen niedrigeren Reibwert zu
erhalten PTFE (Teflonauflagen) auf die Gummiprofile aufgebracht. Dies bedeutet, dass
man die Profile in Formen als teure Formteile herstellen musste.
Anstatt TEFLON werden unsere Profile im kontinuierlichen Verfahren beschichtet.
Diese Methode, „TCT-Beschichtung“, ist von uns patentiert und sowohl praktische als
auch Labor- Prüfungen zeigen sehr gute Resultate und Bezug auf Verschleißwider -
stand und Verformung bei Transport bzw. Montage. Siehe Seite 6

Rubber gate seals from National Gummi AB
Rubber gate seals from National Gummi AB are extruded in EPDM,SBR and Nitrile
rubber compound. The advantage of the extruded, over the moulded seals, lies above
all in the lower tool costs and more economical methods of production - also any
length can be obtained without joints.

In this catalogue You will find a selection of our standard seals with an enquiry form
where You may enter your desired (bespoke or specific) dimensions.
In total we have more than 1.000 different dies at your disposal.
MATERIAL
Over the past 25 years more products are supplied in EPDM and our experience in this
material, especially in the severe conditions for hatch seals in the shipping industry,
has given us a complete understanding of the dynamic properties of EPDM.

FRICTION
One of the problems of rubber profiles working in compressed conditions is friction.
The solution to this has over many years been to coat the gate seal with PTFE (Teflon)
and the cost of this has been very high, especially on moulded products.
Our patented TCT-coating system means that we can apply our anti-friction TCT-
coating consistently and continuously over the full length of our seal. (See page 7)
