3.4.1 Installation of supports LH and RH / Einbau der Halterungen links und rechts
NOTE: As the working procedure is carried out
at the upper side of the H/C, it is recommended to
use a working platform.
If this is not possible and a ladder must be used, it
has to be taken special care
1. Visual inspection
Inspect the support, the gearboxes, the drive-units and
all other components of the pump drive visually. Check
proper pre-assembly
NOTE: The Support LH and the Support RH
have to be placed on the correct side of the H/C.
For identification of the RH support and the LH
support refer to Chapter 9.1, Figure / Abbildung 3-4
and Figure / Abbildung 9-1
When installing the LH support, it must be checked,
that the flange clamp connector is on the inner side
of the support. For the RH support, the flange clamp
connector must be on the outer side

Klemmverbinder auf der Innenseite der Halterung

2. Positioning:
Position the Support LH and the Support RH at
the frames of the H/C in front of the oil cooler air
inlets so that the end of the sheet of the support is
flushed to the end of the relevant frame of the H/C
according to Figure 3-2 and Figure 3-3.
3. Fixation:
Fix the Support LH and the Support RH on the
frames on both sides by closing the camlocks.
4. Install the long tube:
Install the tube (1.7, Figure / Abbildung 3-4) on
the Support LH and the Support RH.
NOTE: To maintain the stability, both supports
LH and RH must be installed at the H/C,
although if only one pump drive is needed for
maintenance tasks.

1. Disassembly the drive holders (3A) and gear drive
assemblies (2) by loosening the clamp levers (3.5)
(see Figure / Abbildung 3-8 and Figure / Abbildung

2. Remove the flange clamp connectors (1.5) from the
drive holders (3A) and fix them at the supports
(1LH and 1RH) again (see Figure / Abbildung 3-4).
3. Remove the angle clamp connectors (1.6) from the
tube (1.7) and fix them at the supports (1LH and
1RH) again (see Figure / Abbildung 3-4).
4. Visual inspection:
Inspect the support components, the gearboxes,
the drive-units and all other components of the
pump drive visually.
5. Make sure that the External Hydraulic Pump Drive
is clean.
Clean the External Hydraulic Pump Drive if
necessary (see Chapter 7 – Cleaning / Reinigung).
6. Store the components of the External Hydraulic
Pump Drive in the storage box.

(1.7) abnehmen und wieder an den Halterungen
(1LH und 1RH) befestigen (siehe Figure /
Abbildung 3-4).
4. Sichtprüfung:
Die Halterung, die Getriebeantriebe, die
Antriebseinheiten und alle anderen Komponenten
des Pumpenantriebes sind einer Sichtprüfung zu
unterziehen.
5. Es ist sicherzustellen, dass der Externe
Hydraulikpumpen-Antrieb sauber ist.
Falls nötig, ist der Externe Hydraulikpumpen-
Antrieb zu reinigen (siehe Abschnitt 7 – Cleaning /
Reinigung).
6. Die Komponenten des Externen Hydraulik-
pumpen-Antriebs sind in dem Transportbehälter
aufzubewahren.
ACHTUNG
Es ist sicherzustellen, dass alle Werkzeuge,
Materialien und Geräte vom H/C entfernt werden.
Materialien, die im Arbeitsbereich verbleiben,

9 Pre-Assembly and complete Disassembly / Vormontage und Demontage
9.1 Pre-assembly / Vormontage
9.1.1 Pre-assembly of RH and LH supports (1RH and 1LH) and long tube (1.7)

9-1.

1. Insert the sealing ends (1.9) at both ends of the
long tube (1.7) in order to cover the sharp edges.
NOTE: This is very important to avoid injuries
due to the sharp ends.
2. Fix one base clamp connector (1.4) each at the
sheet assembly LH (1.1) and the sheet assembly
RH (1.2) with 4 hexagon bolts each.
3. Mount one short tube (1.8) each on the sheet
assembly LH (1.1) and the sheet assembly RH
(1.2) by closing the base clamp connectors (1.4).
4. Fix one flange clamp connector (1.5) at each of the
short tubes (1.8).
Make sure that the flange clamp connector (1.5)
RH is mounted with the plate in outward direction
and with an angle of ca. 90° to the direction of the
long tube.
The flange clamp connector (1.5) LH must be
mounted with the plate in inward direction and with
an angle of ca. 120° to the direction of the long
tube (1.7).
Make sure, that the lower edge of the flange clamp
connector (1.5) has a distance of ca. 134mm to the
upper edge of the respective base clamp connector
(1.4).
The final adjustment will be done during installation
on the H/C.
5. Fix two T-rods (1.3) each at the two flange clamp
connectors (1.5) with 2 screws each.

montieren.
3. Die beiden kurzen Rohre (1.8) jeweils an der
linken (1.1) und rechten (1.2) Platten-
Baugruppe durch Schließen der beiden Fuß-
Klemmverbinder (1.4) befestigen.
4. Jeweils einen Flansch-Klemmverbinder (1.5)
an den kurzen Rohren (1.8) befestigen.
Dabei ist darauf zu achten, dass der Flansch-
Klemmverbinder (1.5) rechts mit nach außen
gerichteter Platte und in einem Winkel von ca.
90° zum Querrohr (1.7) montiert wird.
Der Flansch-Klemmverbinder (1.5) links ist mit
nach innen gerichteter Platte und in einem
Winkel von ca. 120° zum Querrohr (1.7) zu
montieren.
Auch ist sicherzustellen, dass die untere Kante
des Flansch-Klemmverbinders (1.5) einen
Abstand von ca. 134mm von der oberen Kante
des jeweiligen Fuß-Klemmverbinders (1.4) hat.
Die endgültige Ausrichtung der
Klemmverbinder erfolgt bei der Montage am
H/C.
5. Jeweils zwei T-Stangen (1.3) an jedem der
beiden Flansch-Klemmverbinder (1.5) mit je 2
Schrauben befestigen.

11.1 Procedures / Verfahren

Larger repairs are not defined. If the damage is too
important and does not allow a correct and safe use of
the External Hydraulic Pump Drive, the relevant parts
have to be replaced.
